Location: Suna Desert
OOC Information: Amaya is one of the village elders, and as such, she doesn't have to tell the Kazekage what she plans to do. It is likely that Demiyah may have been unaware of her elders' absence. Return Amaya back to Sunagakure safely. Her guard does not have to make it back, though it would be ideal if they did. Amaya's death will result in failure of the mission. It is suggested the Kazekage bring at least two NPC members of ANBU to fight alongside her.
Mission Description: One of the village elders, Amaya Kagetane, recently left the village to deliver a top secret message to a representative in Kawa no Kuni. It has not been disclosed what this message was, as she did not write anything about it down in her scrolls. And intended to deliver the message in person. Amaya is a stubborn old woman, and refused to leave with more than two men as her guard so as not to leave Sunagakure weakened. However, the aviary has recently received a distress message from Amaya and her guards. They are trapped in the Suna Desert without sufficient supplies, tormented by a small band of shinobi (3 A-Rank, 1 S-Rank) who appear to be after the information Amaya is holding. Head to the Suna Desert with enough food and water for the entire team. Eliminate her attackers, and bring Amaya back safely.
Objective:
- Locate Amaya and her guard
- Kill the small group of enemy shinobi
- Safely return Amaya (her guard is not required) to Sunagakure
- Optional: Find out what message Amaya planned to deliver, and why this group of shinobi was willing to kill her for it.
Payout: 2000 Ryo
Additional Rewards: An additional 500 Ryo may be awarded for completing the optional objective.
