I walk in the rain, In the rain
IS it here that I belong or is it right or wrong
The sole call of a single Red Tail Hawk rang through the forest. A hooded figure sitting in a tree turned to face the sky as the small hawk landed infront of it. "Tsukiya," Horus the hawk skwaked softly. "I spotted four masked shinobi heading this way. I believe them to be from Konoha." Tsukiya raised his hands and pulled down his hood. "Then we better get out of here." Pulling himself up, and dusting himself. Nodding to his loyal companion, as he flys off up ahead. Knowing he only has maybe a couple of minutes before they catch up, and well he would have to fight them like his life was on the line. Drawing chakra into the bases of his feet, he leaped from the tree branch that he once rested on to the next. Continuing to follow Horus's path, using him often to navigate through the thick forests. The view on that Horus got alone was enough help.
His gaze drifted to look all around him, and well he was giving it three minutes before they had him surrounded. He would have to rely on Horus to give him a signal to inform they were close. Even if with the help from Horus, he is only one man. There is four of them, highly trained A-Rank shinobi. There was doubt running through his head, he knew he was strong, but was not in there class. "Three". Stopping outside a clearing in the forest, his eyes couldn't stop from looking around. "So how close are they now old friend?" He spoke softly his hand resting upon his sheathe. His companion swooping back down landing on his shoulder "At least twenty yards out now," Horus spoke his head tilting in worry. These two had grown close over this past year, and well Tsukiya really enjoyed the company his feathered companion gave him. "Let's keep going then," he stated, working his way through the forest, not wanting to take the clearing. It would leave him way to open and vulnerable to attack. "Two" his mind began to race wondering how Jiyuu and Keiko are without him around. Was this where he would die, or be captured. There is one thing he knows, and that he will not die here. He has to survive and find the truth about his last night in Konoha. His head quickly snapping over to look beside him. Seeing nothing but trees as far as the eye can see. 'One'.
After his grip tightened upon his sheathe, his wrist flicked pulling out with enough time to deflect a kunai. His crimson eyes narrowing in the direction the sole kunai came, and a sigh escapes his lips. Bending his knees to propel himself forward, but before he could reach his destination. One of the men chasing him was now on a crash course for him, a tanto in hand aimed to slash downwards on him. He spun his body around swining his sword sideways to lock there blades. Glaring at there kitsune shaped mask, and he quickly threw his legs up into the man kicking himself away. Flying through the air now, he spins himself around gathering chakra to his palm and grabbing onto the nearby tree branch pulling himself onto of it.
But before he could turn around, he recieved a kick to his side throwing into a near by tree. A grunt escaping his lips, "Tough bastards" He spoke under his breath, his crimson eyes locked onto the dog mask, "Nice, kick there" He said with a smirk, standing back up. Sliding his sword back into its sheathe, jumping down the from the tree placing his feet on the tree. Having already prepared enough chakra to climb down the tree quickly, and reaching into his side pouch. Pulling out three smoke bombs in between his fingers, and throwing his arm back releasing a smoke bomb at the Anbu. "Man I really got myself in deep here," he said with a half smirk. Jumping from the tree, his feet slidding across the ground, his head quickly look around the clearing, "Where are you bastards?" He snarked with a hiss, when suddenly a onslaught of fireballs came at him from all sides. Bobbing and weaving through the onslaught, but still getting hit in the process his hand reaching into kunai pouch dropping the two extra smokebombs he had been holding onto. Pulling out a kunai, rushing at the anbu wearing a bird mask,
Throwing his leg up to hit him in his side "I like your taste" He remarked to the mans anbu mask. It was a bird, and he has always had a fasinaction for them. He managed to knock him back, but he hadn't noticed the three other anbus rushing him, one kicked him in the back throwing him forward. Rolling across the ground slamming into a tree a grunt escaping his mouth. "Heh..is that all you got?" He asked pushing himself off the ground, but before he could fully stand up he meet a knee to his stomach. A loud gasp for air rung through the forest. Tsukiya glaring up at the anbu as he swung his elbow into him to knock him away, his mind racing they had him cornered. His hands forming the ram handseal, 'Shusin no Jutsu'.
Using it to try and escape and get the upper hand, but after he managed to get away he felt a sharp pain across his chest. His eyes tracing down his body meeting the color of crimson, and it was dripping from his chest. Before he could fully react, he was kicked in the lower abdamon, throwing him against another tree. Sliding down, he knew he had already had a few broken ribs, and well the wound was pretty deep. Standing up glaring at all of the Anbu standing before him "Dear old Ryoko give the order to kill me?" He spoke with a tone of resentment, "Or you all just wanting to beat up the traitourus scumbag? I doubt I have a good name anymore" He stated, reaching for his sword again, he needed to make it out of this.Unsheathing the blade, and points it at the anbu "You wanted it now you're going to get it" He spoke, his eyes turning cold.

IN THIS WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE, THERE'S ONLY ONE KILLING ME
❝ "Keep your ears open, I hear something interesting might happen soon," the blonde smirked, tossing a small felt bag at the man. As it landed in his hand, it clanged from the sound of coin, and he nodded. Turning on his heel, Kazama left with a prize of his own: two hundred explosive tags. He played with a large portion of them. Lifting the top of the stack like a deck of cards before letting them all fall back down neatly into his palm. Of course, purchasing this many explosive tags was bound to raise questions. But Kazama had paid for more than just the tags. He'd paid for the man's silence. Though he only cared that the man remained tight lipped until the job was done. It wasn't until he neared the border of the Land of Fire and Amegakure that he paused. The wind ruffling his messy blonde locks and threatening to rip the explosive tags from his hands. Slipping the tags safely inside his robe, he froze. The wind carried with it the sounds of clashing metal. A fight. He still had time, and his travels had grown rather boring as of late. Perhaps a little...pre-event snack, was in order . A fox-like smirk overwhelmed his features at the thought, and in a second he was gone. Using a quick Shunshin no Jutsu to propel himself in the direction of the skirmish. Stopping just above the small group on a nearby tree branch, he merely observed for the moment. He made no effort to hide his murderous, black chakra. His red eyes trained on the orange-haired man who'd incurred the wrath of a few Konoha ANBU. "Dogs of the Hokage," he spate, his voice low and just above a whisper. "Out on a hunt, are we?" he chuckled, catching the attention of anyone who hadn't already felt his murderous chakra overwhelm the area. They'd pinned the little tabby cat to a tree, how unfair. Operating in a pack like that. "What are the chances?" he grinned, watching as three of the four ANBU members disappeared, leaving the bird to watch over the tabby cat. "I enjoy a good hunt as well. But you dogs-" he paused, not even flinching as the three ANBU members surrounded him, preparing for a simultaneous attack that they hoped would wipe the man out in one go. -aren't worth my time." he said, his hands moving with great speed to form several hand seals before releasing the piercing cry of Chidori. "Chidori Nagashi." he said, untightening his fingers that were controlling the chidori, allowing the lightning current to envelop the area around him. Striking the three ANBU members and sending them to the ground with awful wounds and paralyzed bodies. The last ANBU member, that awful bird who'd pinned the poor tabby, was next. Realizing that Kazama was a much larger threat than the missing ninja, he charged forward. But he had little interest in engaging someone so... below him. "Kanashibari no Jutsu." he said, making direct eye contact with the bird and causing him to freeze where he stood. Which, unfortunately for him, happened to be mid-sprint. All it took was one light push on the shoulder to throw the paralyzed ANBU member off his balance and send him to the ground. "Good afternoon, little stray." he smiled, turning his attention to the tabby cat who lay broken and bleeding against a nearby tree. Walking towards him, slow and seemingly friendly, he looked down at the orange-haired man, assessing the damage. "Lick your wounds, and get up. You'll only rot if you stay here." he said, offering no help. Kazama was no medical ninja, and he wouldn't try to be. If he had the will to live, he'd lick his wounds and stand up. And if he stood, perhaps his travels wouldn't be so lonely after all. "Tell me, tabby cat. Have you ever been to Amegakure?"

I walk in the rain, In the rain
IS it here that I belong or is it right or wrong
They had him pinned something he hadn't foreseen. But what else could one expect for fighting a four man team of Anbu Black Ops. He was ready to fight them off again, until he felt that ominous dark chakra fill the area, "What the hell is that?" He spoke softly, "Out on a hunt, are we?" A voice came from the far right-side tree line. Looking over he spotted a man dressed awful fancy. His eyes narrowing "I had this handled!" He barked a bit, and well it was never good to lie to oneself doing it more then most think. Taking into account that his enemies were now distracted, and this being a perfect chance to attack. But even with his injuries he had to be cautious.
His hand tightening onto his hilt of Shinku Tsubasa, a small smirk forming on his face. Then in a blink of an eye they disappeared, his face actually showing a sign of relief. Looking back over at Kazama, "Are they going after him? His chakra is even more notable then my own." He thought, putting a hand on his chest where his wound was at. Only being able to watch the fight that was bound to unfold. This just went to show he needed to improve, he was so easily beat down by them, and next time it won't happen he swore to that. But he was still wondering who this man is, where he came from, and why he was here taking on the Anbu Black Ops. Stepping forward to get a better view, watching as he was now surrounded, "He's done for" He spoke a sigh escaping after his statement, the man was foolish to take them on in the first place, turning to face the one in front of him "So you going to pull the trigger or what?!" He yelled, but then that crack of lightning echoed through the first. Turning his head seeing him just take out all three of them, "No way!" He thought, "This guy is insane he just took them all out like it was nothing!" again in thought, turning back to the anbu in front of him "So is this your accomplice Tsubasa trash?" He spoke his voice deep in tone, "As if Konoha Dog." His words dripping off his tongue like poison.
Watching his attention turn to Kazama, he brought his fingers to his lips whistling loudly calling for his feathered companion. Horus swooping down "Tsukiya! You're injured!" Horus cried, a smile just forming on Tsukiya's face "I'm alright Horus that guy is taking care of the problem." He said softly patting Horus on the head. Standing there while Kazama dispatched the last member of the four man Anbu Black Ops team. His eyes just starring into his as he inched closer and closer to him. Then those words cut the silence in half "Good afternoon, little stray." a single brow raising "Stray huh? Seems fitting I guess." He replied to the man, allowing Horus to perch on his shoulders, "Guess I should be thanking you then, knowing Ryoko he probably ordered them to beat me down to a bloody mess. Then drag me to a musty cell where no sunlight shows." His tone revealing his anger, but he simply took a deep breath. "Tch, I already did that I'm standing afterall this is nothing." Stating with a big smirk though what did this man want with him. He wasn't blind nor stupid, behind that fox-like face he saw the man had intentions for him.
What ever this mysterious man desired from him, there was a feeling in the pit of his stomach. A feeling that he rarely got, but when it did happen he knew to go with it. Maybe this was the path he was destined to go on. The path that would lead him to the truth, the power he desired. His head dropping down, still unsure of it all but he would walk down this path no matter the consequences. Looking back up into Kazama's eyes "A few times yeah only for small escort missions." He stated, and awaited his response.

IN THIS WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE, THERE'S ONLY ONE KILLING ME
❝ For a little tabby, he was quite the fighter. So easily angered by the mere arrival of someone who so effortlessly received all of the attention from Konoha's dogs. And so quick to stand as if he bore no wounds at all. How prideful. "Nothing?" he repeated, raising a brow and eying the man's chest. The color of crimson stained his coat, and he could tell from the way he slouched that his ribs were, at the very least, fractured. "If you say so," he chuckled softly, meeting the suspicious gaze of the orange-haired missing-nin. He took pride in himself, and he clearly had his own reasons to hate the system. To hate the Hokage and his pawns. You will do nicely. "Then you should know that we aren't far off from it." he said, looking in the direction of the path he would take towards Amegakure. The first stepping stone to his goal was just an hour away. The very thought ensured that his fox-like grin would not budge anytime soon. "Are you aware of the Kage Summit that is underway?" he asked, turning to look back at Tsukiya. But without waiting for an answer, he continued, "What would you say if I said I planned on crashing their little party?" he asked, his tone dark and his words masking the reality of his intentions. Though you'd have to be a fool not to catch on. "What will it be, little stray?" he asked, his lips drawing into a flat line and his demeanor shifting to something far more dangerous. "I'm sure you understand that I've divulged far too much to let you just scurry off." he said, fingers gently draping over the hilt of Kaede. It was a warning. He had two very clear choices: accompany or perish. Though Kazama was running low on time, and he much preferred the former. Or he'd have to stop and clean Kaede too. "Ah, and tell my your name. Unless you prefer tabby."

I walk in the rain, In the rain
IS it here that I belong or is it right or wrong
Watching him closely, and well he had all the reason to after taking out the Anbu Black Ops team. A feat not many can even accomplish except the Kages, but none of that was important. Shrugging Horus of his shoulder, "Go find a place to rest up Horus." He motioned shrugging his shoulder as the bird took off. Looking away, what did this guy know though his very presence of his chakra made him worry. It seemed even bigger then his own and that was saying something. But there's the eerie presence about him, is he someone to be trusted or is he some kind of whackjob? Odds are, it's latter, but how can he question a powerful whackjob.
Slipping his hand into his jacket pockets still keeping a good eye on Kazama, "Right, I heard that the Kage Summit was going down." He spoke calmly, watching the facial reactions he would give Tsukiya. This man had plans for something big, and it seemed like it entailed the five kages, What would you say if I said I planned on crashing their little party?' after hearing the words spoken to him, his eyes grew wide. "You want to attack the most highly guarded meeting of the five leaders of the Five Great Nations?" He asked not really sure he had heard Kazama right, "Either you have a death wish, or one of them really crossed you." He stated his tone growing serious "Least I can tell there is hate in there somewhere, takes one to see it." He spoke rather sternly raising an eyebrow at Kazama. It may not be his place to ask or let alone beckon this fact, but he sensed hatred behind those words. He has held his hatred in for a year now, and well everyday it seemed to swell and swell. He knew eventually it might eat him from the inside out, but least he could do was control it until he got to use it.
Just smiling in response to his silly little nickname, and crossing his arms across his chest. No matter how much the man tried to hide his intentions Tsukiya just knew there was some hidden intentions, he just couldn't pick out what exactly he was devising. He knew this it involved heading to the Kage Summit to crash it, which sounded like a death wish to him but really did he have a choice in this matter? He felt like the man to kill you if he leaks to much information, his eyes narrowing at the sword, and a soft sigh escaping, his eyes closing. "It really seems I have no choice, I either live or die isn't that right?" He looked up a smirk appearing on his face, "So I will accept your offer, and well I got my own plans so I can't die yet." He said with a bright burning fire of determination in his eyes. "Tabby, Little Stray, those won't do my name is Tsukiya Tsubasa." He spoke calmly, knowing he might as well tell the truth to the man, especially one who could end his life quick and easy with no effort.

IN THIS WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE, THERE'S ONLY ONE KILLING ME
❝ Oh? He raised a brow, his signature fox-like smile crossing his features again. The little tabby cat had come forward now, and he was very clearly sizing Kazama up. Assessing the threat. What a brave little kitten, he thought, chuckling softly as his orange-haired acquaintance seemed baffled by his intentions. "Ah, not just one." he explained rather vaguely. Though there was one in particular he had ties to, and he fully intended to make her suffer, there was not a single Kage that hadn't landed their name on his list. He required no personal interactions to fuel this hatred. Their simple position as a leader of their village was more than enough. He intended to show everyone just how foolish they were to entrust their lives to these figureheads. "You require no further knowledge than the task you will be performing at the summit." he said rather sternly, warning the brave little tabby not to grow so brave that he'd be forced to put him down. He would only tolerate being questioned so much. And there were things he simply did not need to know. At least, not yet. "However," he started, "Know this; I intend to show the world how unnecessary their Kage really are. And show these Kage that they are nothing but mere figureheads. Powerless and incapable of protecting their own." he said, his tone dark and revealing what was to come. Tsubasa, huh..? he mused, his fox-like grin never faltering. So this was the assassin who'd made an attempt on the Godaime Hokage's life. How very interesting. "I'm a fair man, Tsukiya. You will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts. And of course, there is a certain amount of protection that comes with being by my side." he said, gaze travelling over to the unconscious bodies of the team of ANBU who had so quickly surrounded and subdued him. They were mere dogs. It would seem as though he would need to teach Tsukiya how to bare his claws in the face of mutts. Provided the kitten didn't force him to cut him down. "Come on out, little girl." he said, gaze shifting from the unconscious ANBU members to a nearby tree. There was no one in sight, but he could feel her chakra. And he'd seen her approaching while conversing with Tsukiya. Being a...ah, was he an SS-Rank now? Well, being on guard and aware of your surroundings came with the territory. I'm bored to death in heaven And down alone in hell I am the fallen angel What a pure day to spend on absolutely no progress. You know those days when you just need to sit back and relax after tons and tons of work? Yeah, that day was just that peculiar day. The female Missing-Nin of jet-black hair and magenta eyes strolled through Hi no Kuni's detestable yet, at the same time, glorious terrain. The endless forests and crystalline streams, adorned with the harmony of fauna and the palettes of flora. All of it surrounding that good-for-nothing, pesky Village flooded with empty-headed fools. What a waste, and these scurrying, jittery Leaf Shinobi had a knack for exploiting or wasting whatever gift cones across them. The sole thought of that made her throat clench tight in loathing. They had to be obliterated, burnt, buried deep within ashes and dead ground. Why did she have to leave? Why did she ignite the Clan on fire? Why were all those jealous, inferior imbeciles raiding the ninja world?
Man, they really had to be exterminated. To think that they so blindly follow whoever claims power and authority is ridiculous already. What dumb soul can't recognise the corrupt manipulation, the greedy and needy hands of the authorities? Yeah, perhaps all of Konohagakure's population. Then again it isn't much of a shock to her, fully understanding they can't be helped any longer. As she pondered this whole waterfall, her feet rapidly drove her body with a Shunshin no Jutsu, countless tough barks of mossy trees passing by with time. The sun beat down on her face's skin and protective cloak, the lack of a fair breeze becoming necessary to her. Guess nothing in the world is so easily received, no? Jena reckoned that, and made it clear to memorise said phrase for future reference. After all, when a Missing ninja travels absentmindedly, they begin to make up a whole train of philosophical doubts and wise quotes. When it hits her, she concludes it might just be a streak of boredom.
When you don't have a mission to keep you occupied, a client whom to follow, and a victim to slay, what becomes of your life?
Minutes passed rapidly, and the girl halted, perching herself on a solid branch of a wide tree. Was that... noise? Fighting noise coming from up ahead? She was highly insecure of further investigation, let alone snooping amidst unknown business. She could get tangled in some nasty things for all she knew, and today was not a day to spend on such. Nevertheless, a mysterious force tugged her core to the source of the hustle and bustle. It was probably some Konoha-Nins doing what they must... dirtying themselves in the mud for the Hokage. She sighed, shrugging and stretching her arms. No harm done in spoiling a party, huh? With that in mind, she directed her new course to where the frenzy of noises originated from, her bright irises meticulously scanning the area ahead. Suddenly, she briskly stopped. The scene before her then wasn't anything she had expected it to be.
Because of that, the female Missing sneaked up the nearest tree, disguising her body with its dense foliage. Through the holes of the leaves she could spy upon the chaotic clearing, where a couple of corpses rested sprawled carelessly. What a... magnificent view, perhaps. Her sight trailed through the different indentations, until she found what could be of more interest. A towering, blond figure, his kimono way too elegant and impeccable to be of any fabric. He wasn't alone, as she soon recognised an orange-haired man standing wounded in front of him. Huh, how interesting~. What were they up to? She attentively focused on the situation below, hearing choppy words instead of understandable sentences. Yet, as they progressed within the conversation, Jena could tell the blond, red-eyed man was up to no good at all. In fact, the sensation he radiated was so unexplainably strong.
"Tsukiya Tsubasa."
The words ringed and echoed in her brain, processing the letters over and over again. That name... It sounded so familiar yet quite distant too, like it was a name she hadn't heard for a prolonged amount of time. Why couldn't she decipher this feeling? She glanced at the smaller man, biting her lower lip. That hair and face, the build and the eyes. How very frustrating. She repositioned herself every now and then for a more comfortable stance, keeping a close eye on the pair below. Whatever they were doing here, taking the deceased bodies into consideration, it was probably tide to something much bigger. The men slain were part of the ANBU, recognised from their uniform and mask and the Konoha headbands attached to the body. Hm, Amegakure? Tabby cat, stray? She yearned to know what exactly was going on, evading confusion on the way.
"Come on out, little girl."
The mature, male voice bellowed in her ears, jolting her awake. She flinched, and Jena hammered her irises to that of the respectable man's face. Shoot, he had sensed her from the start. Wait, that meant he had to be high-ranked and skilled to acutely pick up the traces of foreign chakra. That was definitely bad news. Why did she have to follow her gut so often? Look in the mess she was in now!
"I mean you no harm...for now. You're actions may change that, however."
... Of course, as if the menacing-looking man did not mean bad news already. Yet he sounded honest enough at the second part, and the female Shinobi gave him kudos for such. To comply, or to run away? Mostly, Missing-Nin believe these sort of choices to lead to so many alternatives in life, each unique to the other. It all depends on the mistakes made, on the jobs succeeded, on the choices chosen. So, what could possibly happen if she dared step into view? She could get stolen, used, tossed, so much arrays of many outcomes. What really awaited her in store, what would he do? What about the other one, resisting the wounds pretty well up to now? Was he a menace, too, even if his possible name was a beating and unbearable fragment of the past? Breathing deeply, Jena's feet and hands impulsed her away from the twigs and leaves, her body swiftly landing some feet away from the two men, magenta eyes glaring precariously.
"So you have found me," she firmly pronounced, keeping her stance ready yet not too challenging, awaiting for whatever would be thrown in her face. [ notes ] little girl, eh? [ words ] xxx [ tagged ] Tsukiya Tsubasa && @kazama |

I walk in the rain, In the rain
Is it here that I belong or is it right or wrong
Standing idly there his thoughts lingering, about this man and his true intentions. Though he could try and hide them from Tsukiya. It would all come out eventually that much he knew. The path he was now would most likely place him as a bigger threat, which meant a higher bounty, and well lessened his chances of even thinking of going home. His fire of determination sparked a year ago, to seek out the truth no matter the cost, wouldn't let him faltar, or even second guess his decision. If he had to walk through a fire shower so be it.
Raising his head to face the sky, 'Know this; I intend to show the world how unnecessary their Kage really are. And show these Kage that they are nothing but mere figureheads. Powerless and incapable of protecting their own.' Taking them out was his game, he wasn't far from the truth. Though that wouldn't no easy task, and he was not apart of it. Watching the fox like smile that never faded, leaving it hard to decipher exactly what the man is really smiling at. It is suffice to say, but he is an enigma. 'I'm a fair man, Tsukiya. You will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts. And of course, there is a certain amount of protection that comes with being by my side.' protection sounded like a deal he could take even though he can defend himself very well, least when he doesn't have a team of anbu tag teaming him. It was at that moment, that he pointed out someone was near them turning to where Kazama had directed his own attention.
This girl, that jet black hair, magenta eyes, all traits that were familiar to him. He knew this girl, an old friend of Konoha that disappeared shortly before he did, even though there relationship wasn't that strong. This woman was Jena Hoshizuki there was no doubt in his mind, looking over at her eyes lighting up for a short period of time, "I never thought I would see you again." Was all that he spoke, letting his eyes tell the rest of his story. The stories he heard about the young woman, rumors surrounded her name at every turn. He never really wanted to believe them believing Jena was better then these silly rumors, but there were times where he had been proven wrong.
His attention turning back to Kazama, least he figured he would get some information out of him. 'Right, and I assume you're going to drag her along?' He asked, a head tilt to the side, even though he knew Jena probably had already heard to much. As much as he would like a former allie to not end up dead on his behalf. He would do his best to help Jena if it ever came down to it. After all any former allies was all he had left of his old life, and he could have cut them off. The bonds actually helped him ease through his life, even he though he always worried about them, especially Jiyuu and Keiko. Standing by awaiting for Jena to finally speak up.

IN THIS WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE, THERE'S ONLY ONE KILLING ME
❝ "Drag her?" he frowned, almost looking wounded by Tsukiya's allegations. "Of course not. The girl - ah, what is your name, kitten?" he asked, pausing briefly and turning his head towards the black-haired girl. She was short, but her stance boasted a fiery strength that was both cautious and confident in her abilities. He commended her bravery, a trait that seemed so common among the missing-nin. But perhaps she was a bit too brave. In a flash he disappeared from where he stood, a quick Shunshin no Jutsu placing him directly in front of the girl. "I asked for your name, child." he repeated, his tone deep and firm, demanding the same obedience that had pulled her out from behind the tree when he'd asked. Kazama wasn't one to ask twice. You listened or you died. He had little patience for games. "Jena Hoshikuzu," the girl finally introduced herself, and Kazama gave a light nod of confirmation. "Now, where was I? Ah, yes. I will not be dragging your dearest little Jena along against her will. That sounds awfully troublesome for everyone, does it not?" he said, and despite the playful wording, there was something so terribly dark and dangerous about the statement. "She has the same options as you, Tsukiya. Follow, or perish." he said, his attention temporarily directed towards Tsukiya before looking back down at Jena. She was so small next to his tall, broad build. How easy would it be to crush the black cat in the palm of his hand. "What will it be, Jena?" he asked, fingers finding their way to the hilt of his sword again. Ready to cut her down where she stood should she refuse. "Would you like to crash the Kage tea party?" he clarified, though he didn't doubt that she'd heard her fair share while hiding in the brush. Just as with Tsukiya, he hoped for cooperation. He held no hatred for missing-nin; only pity. They were strays he was more than happy to take under his wing, provided they were obedient. "My offer remains the same. Protection and ryo in exchange for obedience and cooperation."tags: Jena Hoshikuzu, Tsukiya TsubasaMADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

I'm bored to death in heaven And down alone in hell I am the fallen angel Jena could've sworn she got tangled in some unrelated plan that had nothing to do with her, but that destiny had decided to ridiculously push her in to. Sure, naïveté was one of her most common characteristics, yet not comprehending the situation at hand was rather far from that category. The fact that this tall, blond man was nothing close to being familiar with her remembrance just made things quite more odd. And still, this orange-headed guy behind him.. Neither of the two seemed to know each other personally either, so perhaps Jena wasn't that late to the introduction party. It would be a shame to just crash in without any proper greeting, no? We're talking about stronger and more menacing-looking men here, and she was... well, for a lack of better words, petite and weaker. Missing-Nins were supposed to be all rough, bulky trouble-makers with distinct villainous traits. Weren't these village folk ever so idiotic? Look at how they see the rogues and forgotten. And she, however, was a different case.
Just then, the man had to drop the bomb. At the only sentence spoken by him, her shoulders dropped and her eyes faintly widened. Was he really... Was this why she couldn't... Could it all make sense now? Tsukiya Tsubasa... Tsubasa, Tsukiya? "T-Tsukiya?" She repeated his name, yet this time it was plastered with significance. She searched within the depths of her mind, in the confines of her brain where all those lost strands of memory floated aimlessly. Indeed, there he was. He actually remembered her, and so did she, now. Countless flashbacks rocketed behind her eyes, of Konoha's streets and training grounds, of the clashing of blades and the spar of youngsters. And now, reunited by this fragile thread of fate. Could it really all be possible? What coincidence. Or maybe not so, but who knows? "I can't believe we see each other again at all. Especially after... yeah, everything."
In the midst of all this swelling reencounter, Tsukiya's eyes told the whole story. The black-haired girl's did as well, yet more slight and unnoticeable. When the sight shattered, she was brought back into the realm, turning to the blond. Drag? That word wasn't really welcome in her being, not at all. The taller male seemed reluctant to such a term, too, and then abruptly his face was directed to hers. "Of course not. The girl - ah, what is your name, kitten?" K-Kitten?! He closely inspected her build and stature, and not only did it intimidate her, but the faze from the stated nickname left a tad of shock in her. Didn't really help matters when he plainly vanished out of the blue and reappeared right in front of her face. "Jena Hoshikuzu," she stuttered, considering the threatening gestures and solid words. She wasn't going to rebel against this one, that was for sure.
As the blond spoke, the female Missing-Nin realised that he was no man to be kidding around with. He seemed to belong to the type to take his tasks and status very seriously, and he wasn't going to dilly-dally, waiting for success to fly his way. She reckoned this behaviour, according it it. You get nothing these days without a little authority and a good tough lesson. He had this image of giving... unforgiving lessons, for a change. This was ultimately supported when he said, "Follow, or perish." So Tsubasa was also in the same scene, stuck in the middle of obedience and obliteration. Should she refuse, the hand placed on the hilt of his sword should unsheathe the weapon and stain it with her blood. Should she comply, the body that was her own would have to be put forth to a mission so unexplainably thrilling and risky it chilled her spine. And he knew his way with words, too.
