Part 1: The Raging Demon
The forest was lush and leaves were a deep green. The air was damp and small beams of light could be seen peaking through the umbrella of leaves overhead. Kazu was alone. He had simply told his assistant that he would be gone for a bit and left Kirigakure in the care of his assistant. Nobody knew where he was going, or the reasoning behind Kazu's sudden trip. He preferred it this way. This was not a trip for business, but something a little more personal. Kazu had been looking into something for as long as he could remember. The home of the legendary Chimeras. He had never heard of any confirmed case of their existence. Only stories and rumors. But alas, Kazu had decided to track them down and determine if whether or not they were real himself. And he had narrowed it down to this very forest.
Walking along a thin trail, Kazu wandered straight through the forest. It was difficult to see where he was going. There were a lot of shrubs and tall standing, flourishing trees. The air smelled fresh. Kazu took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air.
Kazu continued to wander deeper and deeper into the forest, wondering what could even possibly exist within here. It seemed so vast to him. Kazu wondered what mysteries could lie within this forest, if not the legendary Chimeras.
A rustling came from the right. It was quiet and distant, but audible to Kazu. He came to a halt, twisting his body and standing in place so that the rustling was coming from in front of him. It began to grow louder and louder as each second passed. Kazu stood there, silently. Had he been followed? Who could be targeting him? Were they ANBU? Kazu's thoughts were quickly interrupted with a loud crash, followed by another, and another. Kazu braced himself, bringing his arms up and preparing to act fast. The rustling had vanished, and had turned into crashing. It sounded like... trees crashing?
Kazu jumped back when a large hand appeared from within the trees. The trees were hiding the rest of the beast's figure, but the giant claws were plain as day. Kazu had barely managed to dodge it. The claws of the beast came within inches of his face. Kazu clung to a tree branch using his chakra, and the culprit came out from the shadows and into the light. There is stood. A beast that Kazu had never seen before in his life. It stood ten feet tall. It could probably grab Kazu and pull him off of the tree branch if it really wanted. It had large horns everywhere. Its body was covered in what appeared to be battle scars that either hadn't healed properly, or were reopened multiple times from continuously fighting. It was clear to Kazu how strong this beast was. It was easily tearing trees from out of the ground. But before Kazu could think about it any longer, down came the tree he was standing on. Crashing straight into the ground. The beast had punched it over, attempting to get Kazu down. Kazu moved to another tree.
The process continued. This demon was giving Kazu nothing to do but continuously dodge. Trees were being torn apart and the ground beneth mangled as the beast continued to run at Kazu, flailing about and throwing punches.
"STOP!" Kazu finally shouted from atop another tree branch. The beast stopped for a moment, foam spewing from the mouth. It simply stared at Kazu mid-punch, its arm frozen in the air. Kazu stared back, confused as to what had just happened. But the staring contest had been cut short. The beast brought its arm back, tossing both to the sides. It threw its head up and let out a roar. The roar resonated through the forest. Kazu brought his hands up, covering his ears immediately. His face began to tighten. It was painful. But before Kazu knew it, the beast charged once more, tossing the tree Kazu stood upon once more. Kazu couldn't react fast enough. His body hit the dirt below and began rolling until he hit another tree. He sat up, leaning his back against the tree. When he opened his eyes, a giant fist was being hurled right towards him.

Part 2: Secret Home of a LegendKazu, leaning up against the tree, opened up his eyes. Revealed in front of him was the massive beast, hurling his fist directly at Kazu. The fist was giant and heavy. It moved with incredible force. Kazu stared it down, until the moment had arrived. Kazu slid down, laying flat on the ground as he watched the fist fly over him. The fist struck the tree, crushing the trunk with one hit. The tree began to fall, smashing the ground. Leaves that had been left behind by the falling tree began to gracefully float to the ground. Kazu rolled from beneath the arm, revealing himself to the beast once more. He quickly stood up, running off into the trees once more. Kazu leaped from tree branch to tree branch, moving forward to try and lose the beast, or at least find a wide open area so that he could better fight against this monster. The leaves were a blur as Kazu whipped by them. Not far behind him was the beast, charging at Kazu and tearing down everything in its path. It was fast, and began to decrease the distance from Kazu. Kazu glanced back to verify this. It was pointless. This thing was just going to keep coming at him. Kazu had finally had enough. He stopped and turned to face the charging beast. He began to form signs. "Suiton: Teppōdama!"Kazu leaned back, inhaling deeply while holding the final signed formed with his hands. He then exhaled abruptly, pushing his upper body forward. Straight from his mouth came a water ball, flying straight towards the beast. The beast paid no attention and instead continued to run forward. The water ball struck it directly in the face with great force. The water exploded in all directions and the beast came to a halt, his head forced back by the ball of water. Standing there silently, Kazu waited for the beast's response. He could only hope that at this point, the beast would stop and back off. But much to his dismay, the beast simply regained its composure, and began charging at Kazu, angrier than ever. " Damn it!" Kazu shouted, frustratedly. Kazu dropped from the branch. Suddenly another giant fist moved towards him. Kazu side-stepped the punch, dodging it. Using his palm, he struck the arm of the beast beside him. He struck it with a slight spin of the wrist. "Senpū-ryoku!"A small amount of wind chakra flowed from the palm of Kazu's hand and out into the surface of the beast's arm. It spun, increasing the damage done and the strength of the blow. The beast's arm was tossed and the beast stumbled about, letting out a whimper of pain. Kazu wasn't about to give this thing another opening. He dashed in, seeing an opening, using the same technique on the torso of the demon. Another yelp reached Kazu's ears as he made contact, and saliva sprayed from the beast's mouth. The beast backed off, trying to catch its breath. It didn't take long. From the left came another giant claw. Kazu caught it on the corner of his eyes. It was coming fast. Kazu brought up his arms in an attempt to block the blow. Too late.
The claw crashed into Kazu hard, tossing him through the forest. He hit the ground and slid another few feet, rolling to a near stop before he hopped back onto his feet. The beast had already begun charging Kazu again, striking him with another punch and tossing him even further. Kazu flew through the air, hitting nearly every tree branch in his path and shattering it. He hit the ground once more, rolling to a stop once more. Kazu stood back up, but wasting no time, he started running. It was futile, though, as another giant fist struck him from behind, throwing him even further. Kazu coughed in the air, spitting up blood. The blood sprayed, but the wind caught it, blowing it back into his own face. Kazu struck the ground again, sliding through the dirt. He grasped the ground with his hands and tossed his body up into the air once more, flipping backwards and landing on his feet, sliding to a halt. What Kazu saw next came to him as a surprise. He glanced around, only to realize that he was no longer in the forest. Or rather, perhaps he was in the heart of the forest? A giant field revealed its existence to him. The sun beamed brightly. It was wide open, aside from the many hot springs throughout this field, and one large mountain with a cave that led directly into it.

Part 3: Who is this guy...?
Kazu stood in the wide open field. He had never even begun to imagine that a place like this could even exist at the heart of such a deep and dense forest. It was a like a whole new land on its own. Flowers bloomed everywhere. Large hills rolled in the distance with big hot springs at the bottoms. Geysers rose up from the hot springs, spraying hot water all around. The sun beamed brightly down on the field. If there was indeed a heaven, this was it. Kazu had just discovered it. Kazu gazed around, his mouth hanging open in aw. He wandered deeper into the field, and not a soul could be seen. His eyes darted all over the place, scanning the surrounding area as if he were trying to make sense of it all. The air was so pure. A new energy sparked within Kazu. It was as though all of his wounds hadn't even been inflicted. He felt no pain now.
There, directly in the middle of the field, surrounded by hot springs, geysers, and rolling hills, was a large mountain. Kazu was intrigued as to why it couldn't be seen from the outside of the forest. It was interesting, but it was entirely possible that a sort of shield had been erect around the field, preventing outsiders from seeing it and discovering this place. Kazu gazed at the mountain in awe. The tip couldn't be seen through the thick sheet of clouds hovering about it.
Suddenly, from behind Kazu, the beast returned, just as angry as before. It let out a large roar as it charged Kazu once more. The roar snapped Kazu back to reality as he quickly twisted his body one-hundred and eighty degrees to face the beast once more. The beast ran at him full force now, nothing in its way. Each foot dug into the ground with every step, kicking the soil up as it would push off, crushing the dirt with its next step. Kazu prepared himself. He had been rejuvenated, and with a wide open arena, Kazu could finally stand up to this beast. As the beast approached, Kazu began to form signs with his hands. But Kazu was cut short when something else came from the east, like an orange blur. It struck the beast directly in its ribs, tossing the beast a ways until it crashed into the ground, sliding to a stop. There, staring directly at the beast was something Kazu had never seen before. A Chimera. It had the front body of a proud and powerful lion, with a mane of a bright, crackling flame. Large horns sprouted from his head. It stood on all fours, and its hind legs and tail were all purple. In fact, the tail wasn't even a lion's tail. It was the head of a snake. Kazu stared, but quickly realized how impolite his gawking may be. He quickly shifted his eyes to the beast that was now laying on the ground, whimpering.
"I let you roam around, and this is what you do!" the lion spoke, his voice booming like that of a proud king. "Kyōbōna! How many times must I ask you to behave yourself!"
Behave? Kazu was curious now. It seemed as the Chimera lion knew this beast on a personal level. It even had a name? Kyōbōna? Kazu stepped forward, clearing his throat as if to remind the lion that he was still there. The lion's ears perked, and he spun himself around to face Kazu. The lion casually walked over towards Kazu, the one his attention was now fixated on. Kazu began to prepare himself once more. This Kyōbōna was trouble enough, but if he had to take on both of these things at once, he was going to have himself a bit of a situation. The lion stopped, standing only a mere six feet from Kazu.
"I'm sorry!" the lion apologized. "Kyōbōna isn't always aware of what he is doing! He tends to lose control and go berserk if I don't keep tabs on him! I hope that you can forgive him!" the lion's harsh voice resonated through the air with a certain power.
"I-It's... fine." Kazu had no idea how else to even respond to this.
"What brings you here, traveller?"
"I'm here to speak with the leader of the Chimeras." Kazu answered the question with great confidence.
"He is I." the lion confirmed. "What does the White Dragon need from me?"
Kazu paused briefly, unsure of how to react. The lion was already aware of Kazu's identity? But how?
"Er... may I ask how you know me?"
"No!" the lion roared. "On with it! Stop wasting my time!"
Kazu choked on his words for a second, before catching his breath once more and preparing to speak. He wasn't even willing to answer Kazu's question? What nerve. It didn't matter too much to Kazu, though. There was only one goal he had in mind. Only one reason Kazu had come this far.
"I apologize... uh..."
"King!" the lion interrupted with his usual booming voice.
King? That's original...
"King! Well it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. As you clearly already know, I'm Kazu, the Mizukage of Kirigakure. I've come all this way to request that you create a summoning contract with myself."
King examined Kazu for a moment, his eyes moving up and down Kazu's body. It was as though he were judging Kazu based on something, though Kazu couldn't quite pinpoint what. Finally, King stopped observing Kazu and began speaking once more.
"You're the first person to discover this place in centuries without having been eaten alive by my pet, Kyōbōna."
Those words echoed in Kazu's mind.
He... was going to eat me?
"Kazu!" King shouted unnecessarily. I mean, Kazu was only standing six feet away. Kazu's body twitched unintentionally as the loud voice surprised him. "I will accept your offer! I will assist you in your quest to gain more power! Kyōbōna, my son Simon, and I will all assist you in your journeys!"
Kazu froze.
How... does he know...?
