"Say I never struggled, wasn't hungry, yeah, I doubt it"
After Nobu had gotten home the day he killed the spider's in the hospital, his father patched him up while he told his father of what had happened. As far as Nobu's father cared, he went in there unprepared and it got him hurt. Nobu expected this but he was intent on making up for his mistake that day. He planned to go visit the library back room and kill the spiders there without any mistakes this time. Nobu had receive word that he was receiving a new teammate and that they would be working together at another location soon but this didn't affect his current location choice in the least bit. After his night training with his father and having his arm re wrapped, he went to bed.
Nobu woke up around noon and started his morning routine. He took a shower, ate breakfast and then went for a run around the village. Nobu got home, after only breaking a small sweat he wiped his face down with a wet cloth and got ready for his mission. Putting on his clothes that had been washed the night before when he got home, grabbing his ninja pack and headband, he headed for the library. On Nobu's way out of the Kazekage's office yesterday, he grabbed 3 more empty vials for poison extraction.
He made it to the library and was met with the owner outside the doors. The owner's name was Akira Minako, a 26 year old female who had inherited the library from her mother who had died recently from sickness. "Has the situation changed at all since you put in the mission request" Nobu asked? The Librarian told Nobu that the back room had not been opened since she originally opened it to find multiple spiders in the room. The library had been closed the past couple days due to the spider infestation which was not good for business. Nobu was given the keys, blueprints to the library, and Akira left for home, asking the suna ninja to leave the keys at the Kazekage's office when the mission was completed.
Entering the library, Nobu noticed that all the lights were off and it was extremely quiet. The back room was on the other side of the building and was used for storage and prepping books that were to be moved out of the library. The room was usually a mess and was filled with dusty old books. According to the blueprints, the room was not that small and had a simple cube shape with boxes of books all over the place. If the spiders were the same size as before, they could easily move along the small pathways and still be well hidden. Once again, the situation was not in favor of Nobu.
The power still worked so he was able to see around the whole library which seemed to be frozen in time. As he walked across the floor to the room he noticed that there was no creaking in the floor. He remembered that the library was renovated last year before the previous library owner died. This meant one of two things, that if Nobu used Fūton: Reppūshō, the building would hold up, or if he used it, he might have to spend some money to help with the repairs, and since the payout for the mission would be less than the repairs for the building, Nobu didn't want to test his chances.
Walking up to the door, there was a metal lock on the door. Nobu looked at the keys he was given and found a key with a tag "Storage room" on it and put it in the lock, twisting and opening the lock. On the blueprints, it also showed that there was a light switch on the wall immidiately to the left after opening up the door. It also showed that there was no windows in this room so the ceiling lamp would be his only way to see the spiders as they approached. Before opening up the door, he set down the bag with the vials outside of the door and said quietly "Naifu o nage chakura", wrapping a knife around each side of one Akihiko Wire, and holding the wire in the middle with his right hand.
Opening up the door with his left hand, he quickly reached his hand in the room and flicked on the lights and quickly entering the room he saw something he had not seen in the hospital. The entire room was filled with webs which sent chills down his back but acted quickly to prepare for whatever was in this room. This room was in no condition for Nobu to fight spiders. Disabling his chakra throwing knives, he made decide that he would take a chance. Even though he was hesitant at first using this jutsu, he did a few hand seals and yelled "Fūton: Reppūshō". He clapped his hands together, concentrating and controlling his chakra so that he could do a wide blast, not strong enough to do damage to the building but still blow any loose books and webs to the other corner of the room. Luckily, he had not broken the ceiling lamp but it was now spinning in circles since it was the hanging type of ceiling lamps.
He heard loud thumps from the books hitting the opposite wall and immediately closed the door and put chakra into his Akihiko wire. His first decision was to tie his wire around a box of books that had been taped up and was sitting in front of him. He then tied a kunai to the other end of his wire and started walking forward. As he was walking, he would extend the length of the wire as he saw fit. After taking only a few steps, a spider came from in front of him with amazing speed. Well prepared for this he waited for the perfect moment to strike, holding the kunai in his right hand and the wire in his left. Chancing being bit he waited until the spider had jumped was right in front if his face ducking, turning around and throwing the kunai as hard as he could at the spider. He did not impale the spider as he had hoped but he did take off a few legs. Rushing the spider he had just attacked, he pulled the kunai back to his hand and stabbed the spider to finish it. Knowing this was only the first one, he spun, with spider impaled kunai in hand and hit a spider that was in biting range of his arm. This had knocked off the impaled spider from his kunai so he threw his kunai at the spider he just hit and skewered it into the wall but not without another two spiders jumping at him at the same time. Pulling the other side of the wire as hard as he could, a box of books came flying, hitting both spiders at the same time with great force against a wall as if they had been hit with a bat.
Exhausted, Nobu had released his wire and leaned his right arm on a box of books that was open. The fact that one more spider remained mattered not to Nobu who had just re-hurt his arm that was injured the day before. Swinging the box of books took a bit more effort than he had thought and had pulled his left arm out of it's socket. The pain was excruciating and Nobu forgot that he was in a battle which almost cost him his life because out of the box that he was leaning on came the 5th spider aiming right for his face. Out of being surprised and in pain , Nobu fell to the ground and once again landed on his left arm. He let out a yell of pain but this pain had brought him back to his senses. Not being in any state to use jutsu and down one arm, the young Suna ninja was running out of options seeing the spider on the floor, dashing for his legs. As he looked around he saw his wire he had dropped and remembered that his kunai was still stuck in the wall. In pain he tried to pull it out of the wall but he it wasn't budging. He pulled and pulled but nothing was happening and the spider was within a few feet of him. Putting everything he had left in his body, he tugged the wire one last time pulling it out of the wall, landing a few inches from where he lay, he picked it up, lifted up his head, he threw it into the face of the last spider that was about to sink it's fangs into his leg.
Waking up, Nobu tried getting up but could barely move at first. He had knocked out after he had killed the last spider without even realizing it. He did not know how long he had been knocked out but probably not long if no one had come to check up on him. He was able to push himself up and stayed sitting for a few minutes. Collecting himself, he knew his mission was not finished. He managed to get himself onto his feet and walked to the door. After opening it up, he grabbed the vials with his right hand and after a lot of effort, he got 3 vials of the spider poison and unwrapped his wire from the box and put his kunai away. He closed the back door, locked the front door of the library and headed for the Kazekage. After reaching the mansion, he made his way up to the office and dropped unconscious in front of the door.
