Contract of Spiders [Sage Contract]

Deep within the caves of a nameless mountain rage a nest of spiders live. Just outside of their cave is a forest ripe with the prey these arachnids need in order to survive. Humans are not often on their menu but when they dragged a lost and fatigued Masaki into their nest both man and beast were surprised. With show of his powers and his vines connecting the jounin to his past just as a spider's thread connects it to life, to the future, headway was made. Binding himself to the spiders, they agreed to teach Masaki Senjutsu in return for his loyalty and his secrecy of the nest. Now Masaki is able to summon the spiders in combat and, just like other sage contracts, each spider specializes in a technique and only one can be summoned at a time. As the current Spider Sage only Masaki can summon these allies. 

Name: Kouki
Species: Spider

Description:The smallest of the sage spiders (size of a house cat), Kouki resembles a jumping spider and has comically large eyes for his tiny body. His body is a primarily sandy color with darker patterns on his head and abdomen. Kouki has the best facial expressions of all the spiders and is also the most animate when speaking, his legs flying everywhere. Kouki is addicted to working out and will also push himself and Masaki further unless one of the higher ranker spiders steps in. His voice is also comically high pitched for a male. Personalty wise Kouki takes everything to the extreme and is quite gung-ho, only being slightly reserved, unlike the other sage spiders who take secrecy quite seriously. He is easily frightened and disturbed by Chinatsu who wanted him to be her latest mate.

Kouki rarely uses his thread when he fights and instead flies on his powerful legs to catapult him into battle. He will then use Taijutsu and venom to fight.

Name: Chinatsu
Species: Spider
Rank: A-rank
Description: Bulky and bad tempered, Chinatsu is the largest of the spiders summons, her body expanding to the size of a house; she is the nastiest of them all. She is a giant huntsman spider and walks more like a crab than a normal spider. She lacks any kind of hair and, for some reason, it almost appears as if she is covered in skin, wet skin. Chinatsu is pale, almost translucent, since she spends most of her time inside. She is ranked below Yuuma and above Kouki. Though her size may suggest she would be better at physical combat, Chinatsu is actually rather fragile and is a master of Genjutsu.

Chinatsu is a sloth as much physical energy tires her quickly. But don't let the bulk and lazy attitude fool you as this female is just as bright as the rest of the sage spiders and has killed more than even Motoko. Chinatsu is attracted to male humans, often luring them to her nest and entrapping them there with her Genjutsu. She was the one who found Masaki and it is clear she has a crush on him, thankfully, however, Motoko saved Masaki before he wasted away in Chinatsu's clutches. Chinatsu is flirty and sensual and often speaks in food and pleasure related metaphors. All of her previous mates have been devoured after their job was done.

Name: Yuuma
Species: Spider
Rank: A-rank
Description: A type of swords spider, Yuuma has a hard metallic body that is grey and black in color. Each of his legs end with a sword like point, easy for Yuuma to attack with as if they were a real blade. Along his limbs other sharp metal growths stick out (much like the thorns on Masaki's vines) which Yuuma can detach, shoot, and regrow if need be. Yuuma is the size of a medium table, with his blades extending out longer.

Yuuma is the consort of Motoko and has fathered her clutches of children for the last three hundred years. Yet, unlike Motoko, Yuuma is strongly prejudiced against humans after the time he lost a nest to them. That being said, he is sullen and spiteful towards Masaki and a lot of development between the two needs to happen if they are to work together well. Yuuma is very systematic and takes great care of his 'blades', sharpening them and cleaning them daily. He is the second in command of the nest and his skills fall just below Motoko's- making him brilliant and wounded. Yuuma specialize in Bukijutsu.

Name: Motoko
Species: Spider

Description: A type of sequined spider, Motoko is a stunning arachnid. Slightly bigger than her mate, Motoko is a pale tan color with a yellow head and an abdomen that appears as if it was encrusted with jewels. In fact, that is the truth, as a pattern of red, yellow, white, and black gems line Motoko's body. Motoko is the oldest of all the spiders, her life spanning nearly six centuries now, but she does not show it at all. She is gentle and ever the mother figure you would expect from the Queen of spiders when it comes to those she loves. Yet, during war, Motoko takes charge and does a majority of the fighting with her closest allies. She is the wisest of all the spiders and is soft spoken, even when angered. She does not like to dwell in her kills.

After losing a clutch of eggs to a group of humans, Motoko too shut down from the outside world and for a hundred years there was no Spider Sage in the world. The spiders simply refused to teach anyone. But age dulled Motoko's loss and she soon bred against with Yuuma and life went on. It wasn't until Chinatsu brought in a captured Masaki that Motoko knew the new Spider Sage had arrived into her web. She offers to teach Masaki in order for his protection and secrecy of their current nest.
