I walk in the rain, In the rain Is it here that I belong or is it right or wrong Standing on the outskirts of Ironwell, the town plagued by a group of bandits led by a savage man. He didn't see failure in the future, but he always prepared himself before any mission specially one of this caliber. Though his mind couldn't stop from wondering why Yasei would rely on bandits to do his dirty work. He was leaning toward the man being a coward, or to scared to pull the actual trigger to kill anyone. He understood it he never would have the guts to kill, but even then that isn't true he doesn't have the will to kill an innocent. It has never been in him but he does detest those who do kill, so ending there life is in the realm of possibility. His hand resting firmly on Shinku Tsubasa, the sword of his late grandfather, he can say that he never knew the man much. As he never really took much of a role in his life when he was young. This sword brought back memories of when his father handed it down to him. But now was not the time for reminiscing this was pure business. His eyes gazing around watching some merchants and regular joes pass him by. Still awaiting for Horus to return "Taking him an awful long time." He stated, looking up to the sky wondering where his feathered companion has gone off to. Still searching the skies, he removes his hand from the hilt and places it above his eyes to shield from the suns light. Even though it would be nightfall soon. Hearing a single caw as a black speck in the sky dived towards the ground. A smile crossed his face "So are we in the clear then?" He asked, raising an eyebrow "Yes but there is something else as well." Horus skawed, "There are several small camps posted around the encampment, as if they are awaiting our arrival." Horus stated, causing Tsukiya to raise his hand to his chin. Rubbing it lightly "Shouldn't be a problem then." He spoke, "We will just take each individual camp out before moving on to Yasei." He stated, walking off now while Horus lifted up off the ground following behind his master and friend. Turning his gaze back to the sky as the sun would be setting soon. This could help him succeed in the mission. If he used it in his favor, "So Tsukiya I know you've mentioned this Keiko girl before. But when are you going to give her news that you are still alive?" Horus asked his friend picking up speed so he could be face to face. His features changing a small frown appearing, "I probably won't. The less I worry her the better off she is. Besides, she has more important matters in Konoha then to worry about me." He stated his tone cold and sad, but he meant all of it even if he did love Keiko he wasn't going to put that on her. It wouldn't be entirely fair of him to do so, "Look we need to focus on the job Horus alright?" He asked turning to face his companion, and watching Horus frown. He smiled faintly reaching over to pat Horus on the head "I know you care Horus and I appreciate that, but this is pure business my friend." He spoke with a more cheerful tone, he really did enjoy how worried Horus got of him. After all he did raise Horus from the baby bird to the young bird he is now. Though Horus has grown a lot in that year, and he was the first thing Tsukiya made a bond with since leaving Konoha. The trek through the woods had taken at least an half hour to reach the first camp, and well he figured they would at least be on alert. But no they were drowning themselves in booze, and feasting on succulent meat. Knowing this should be an easy task he jumped up onto a tree branch watching them like a hawk. Looking beside him as Horus sat beside him "Drunken idiots they won't be to hard to take down. Horus go down and snatch there alcohol." He said with a smirk, these idiots are bound to chase after Horus. Hoping they would knock themselves out, and just sitting back while it happens. Horus nodding as he swooped down snatching the bottle of alcohol right out of his hands. Watching the one who once held the bottle stand up abruptly, "Where did it go 'ya d-dumb f-f-at ass!" He screamed his words slurring as they came out. Tsukiya raised an eyebrow at his reaction as he watched them duke it out, as Horus flew back to the tree branch "Good job buddy, now I want to go on ahead I think I have it from here." He smiled patting his feathery friend upon the head. Moving on to the next camp Horus told him about, and he was expecting a little more of a challenge. He had taken down one of the four camps, and then his next target was Yasei. Standing above the next group of bandits who by the looks of it are heavily armed. Looking around the area, he spots a lake right in front of him, sneaking over next to it. Raising a single hand to form the Tiger hand seal, his chakra starting to leak out kneading in with the rising water. A thick dense fog starting to set in mixing in well with the darkness of the night. Kneeling down on the tree branch, "You know what kind of bastards would kidnap a poor innocent little girl?" He asked, the bandits already confused when the fog set in a new level of panic setting in, "Tell me where the girl is and I will take it easy on you." He spoke his voice bouncing around the forest making it almost impossible for him to be found. "Right how 'bout ya come out and face us like a man" One of them spoke up, a smirk forming across his face "Trust me you don't want that, and your five seconds are up." He spoke his tone growing cold. His warning went unheard, and to be fair he had no more time to waste. Leaping down from the tree sweeping through the air to kick on of them in the head tossing them into the other. Throwing his hand in the air his chakra flowing through his arm, the crack of lightning breaking through the air, "Hiraishin" He spoke softly, thrusting out his arm grabbing the man by the jaw, "I did warn you." He spoke coldy, as the lightning gathered in his arms raced through his body into the other man. The screams of pain fill the once quiet forest. "Are you going to tell me what I want to know!?" He barked tossing the man back and out of his grip, his attention now turning to the man that was now charging him, "Big mistake.." He whispered, his hands stringing together several hand seals. Throwing out his palm as water began to torrent itself around the man, "Suirō no Jutsu" He said as the bandit was now trapped in a spherical water prison. "Well look's like you have great hearing only way you picked my location out. No matter I won't make that mistake again" He whispered quietly to his prisoner, "Pretty soon you will start to run out of oxygen, and then you will drown." His words sliding of his tongue in cold manner showing how truly uncaring he is for this mans life. Hearing the patter of footsteps, his eyes looking over in that direction. His only free hand now lay atop Shiku Tsubasas hilt in case he needed to draw it. His eyes looking to the prisoner, as he tried squirming his way out. He just smirked knowing it was pointless and daft, "It's no use you won't be going anywhere, and squirming around just will waste your energy" Stating the truth he looked forward where he knew Yaseis compound was, he was staring to think taking out all of his men was a waste of time, "So you ready to start talking now?" He asked, and if he were to be fair he grew tired of asking. Extending his arm into the prison generating a small surge of electricity into the sphere shocking the man, he made sure not to electrocute him. Knowing how long he should keep this up for before the man would break. Watching the man as the pain coursed through his body, yanking his arm out of the sphere. Crossing his arms, as the sphere slowly began to come apart, the man ending up on the ground in a puddle breathing heavily,"..Sh-h-hes in on the third level, towards the north...in a cell...Yasei..will kill her before you even reach her.." He spoke in shallow breaths. A small smile forming on his face, "Not if I have anything to say about it." He said, bringing his leg back and kicking him in the face hard enough to knock him out. Turning around listening to the quit babbling of the other bandits, finding it pointless as he released the fog. "Pick up your men and leave this place." His dark crimson eyes showing how truly serious he was, and that was if they could even see him in the dead of the night. Turning his back to them, and walking away, "Get back here 'ya coward!" screamed at him, a small smile on his face ignoring there words. He had already taken 4 of them out now, and well they weren't exactly the strongest of people. Though he had been told by Yūfukuna that these bandits were taught some of the basics of ninjutsu. But thus far he has yet to have a problem with them. Or maybe it was the fact that he himself was smarter then them and more talented. Taking off towards the main compound where Yūfukunas daughter was being held by Yasei, but then a loud explosion rang through the quiet air for the forest. Turning around, seeing a streak of fire burning in the air, "..A signal..damnit then I need to hurry!" He thought, sprinting now, forming a few hand seals, "Raiton Kage no Bunshin No Jutsu!" His chakra splitting into another form, turning to face the newly made clone. "You take care of the other camps." Was all that was said, and then he was off. They fired a signal which means he should've taken care of the rest of them, a mistake that he might come to regret, "I can't let this girl die! No way in hell!" His thoughts raced, wasting little time, though he eventually would stand at the gates, the place was huge least on the outside. Undoubtedly paid by the money and personal belongings taken from the towns people over the years. Scoffing, jumping to scale the building seeing it his quickest way in. Once arriving at the third story, he scaled in through a window, not realizing he had just stepped into a room fulled of at least three more bandits, "Hey, ain't that the guy the boss is lookin for?" He spoke, looking at the others, but before the could out any more words, his hands had quickly forming seals. A burst of chakra forming around his hand, "Raiton: Kangekiha" He spoke softly, pulling Shinku Tsubasa out quickly he stabs it into the ground, the ground they were standing on making the perfect way to stun them. Watching as the lightning traveled up and into the bodies. Writhing in pain and crumbling to there knees, yanking his sword up and sliding it back into the sheathe. Running at one and bringing a swift kick to the chin, spinning around and slamming the back of his heel into the others head. His gaze changing and setting on the third one, "Ye think simple tricks like that will stop me little brat?" He spoke, still on his knees, "Well I didn't expect much out of you all of you bastards I have come across are easy." He stated, walking away, "So for your sake stay down." He spoke sternly, knowing it was imperative to get there quick. Nearing where he was told to head, a sudden blow struck Tsukiya, causing him fly back a bit, laying on the ground grunting in pain. His hand reaching for his chest, no blood but what was it that hit him. Looking up he saw Yasei standing there, "You...where is the girl?!" He yelled, managing to stand up. He looked at the large club Yasei held in his arms, "Nice clone Yasei, but you're not fooling me." He snarled quietly, performing a single Ram seal. A puff of smoke bursting out from under him. Behind the clone of Yasei sword already drawn, "Just know this you are going to feel the wrath of Arashi no Youkou!" He yelled out swinging it forward to swipe of the clones head. Disappearing in a puff of smoke. spinning himself around his next destination was the cell. Sprinting towards the door and throwing it open only to find Yasei with a blade drawn to the girls throat "You know I can always just raze that filthy village to the ground. I have enough score to live wealthy for years to come! So you think one little girl matters to me?!" He yelled clearly pissed that Tsukiya had made it this far into his compound. Standing still as to not provoke the man to cut her throat, "So when did you find the need to hire the Kuro Te for protection? Yeah I've had past encounters with them back when I was a Chuunin." He spoke, tapping his chin like he was in thought. Watching as the man seemed to be struggling with his anger. Taking the opportunity he performed a few hand seals the room starting to fill up with clones, "Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu" he whispered, as one appears next to Yasei. It was apparent he was about to blow, finally snapping, lashing out at the clone swiping the kunai at him only to fall through, rushing at him snatching him up from the ground and slamming him into the wall. His fist drawing back, throwing it forward into his face with as much force as he could muster, "What kind of scumbag are you?!" He yelled, continuing to punch him one after another, his own anger spilling out. The beating continued on for a couple seconds, til he finally realized something. Letting Yasei's collar slip out from his grasp and watching him slide to the ground, "Tch, you are a cowardice piece of trash how you made it in this world is beyond me. Killing you is a waste of my time, so you're going to suffer with your own worthlessness. Also if I hear you kidnap another little girl I will be back, and trust me it will be worse" He spat like poison at the man, but in all honesty he hated men like him. Walking over to the girl kneeling down. "I apologize for my actions, but everything is going to be okay now." He said in a soothing tone, almost like a father to his daughter. The girl staid silent, and he frowned a bit not to sure what she had went through. "Look let's get out of here what do you say?" He said with a big warm smile, standing up and holding his hand out to her. At first she hesitated but finally gave in, "There we go I am going to take you back to your dad." Speaking as he walked out of the room, but there was one more thing he had to grab. "Hey you wouldn't happen to know where a certain item that is special to your dad would you?" Asking looking down at her, small hand raised pointing at a door. Slowly walking over there and opening the door up to what appeared to his treasury. Letting her hand go for just a moment, searching for it. "Mister it's right here." A sweet and young voice spoke up causing him to turn and face her "Heh good job." He smiled picking the necklace up which was made up of pure gold, with a big emerald in the middle. Now the journey back home, allowing her to climb on his back. The girl falling asleep on the way there, but once home he quickly dropped her and the necklace off. After receiving his reward, he stopped outside her doorstep "See you later kid, make sure to grow up nice and strong." He said with his last farewell turning his back to her and walking away. Having finally witnessed how far his anger will lead him, and it wasn't something he enjoyed. Letting his anger take control of him like that. | Notes: Scary Tsuki like whoa Tags: n/a Words: 2835 |
