By drawing angular patterns on both arms in blood similar to the summoning technique, Karen places both of her hands on a sealed object or person. The angular markings begin to glow indigo, before a symbol appears in each crevice on each arm, numbering eight in total. These symbols are the kanji for North (北), South (南), East (東), West (西), Human (仁), Spirit (気), Life (生) and Gate (関) and they immediately begin glowing indigo as well. This technique is used primarily as a means of breaking a seal by treating it similar to a lock, with the technique itself being the lockpick. Each of the eight symbols represents a 'pin' of the lock, which Karen then has to move to the right level in order to unlock the seal. Once all eight are in their respective positions, the seal immediately unlocks.
This technique can be used on any level of Fuuinjutsu, even S-rank, however it takes longer depending on the rank of the technique it's trying to break. For C-rank and lower seals, it could take less than 5 seconds, whereas for S-rank seals it could take up to one hour of continuous concentration.
