Often used more as a means to interrogate a victim, the user places their hand on the victim's head, pushing their chakra into the brain in order to search their memories. This is a naturally flawed technique, simply because it requires the victim to be entirely honest in their own minds in order to receive an accurate picture of the events of the memory. The very nature of memory dictates that it can and does change within our heads according to our imagination, meaning how the person remembers it may not be how it happened. Therefore any findings must be taken with a grain of salt, but this technique is so incredibly complex that it has a very high chakra cost, hence it's high ranking.
