LEND ME YOUR HAND AND WE'LL CONQUER THEM ALL ❝ The young 'Hime no Oda' had left Konoha under the pretense of a vacation. Some kind of educational trip that involved a trip to their ally in the east: Kirigakure no Sato. Her father had given her some lecture on exposure, and village relations. Apparently getting out and seeing the world from a different perspective - y'know, the thing you could do by going on missions - was a pivotal part of growing up. And even more important for a "young woman such as yourself". The brunette rolled her eyes at the obvious sugar coating. It had happened again. Hajime Oda, her father and current head of the clan, had reason to believe someone would be making an attempt on his daughter's life. Again. It wasn't that the heiress had grown use to it, rather, she still simply refused to fear it. She so carelessly laughed in the face of danger, and this terrified her father. So he shipped his 'little girl' off to Kirigakure with a hoard of guards, an advisor (to ensure she actually was productive) and a caretaker. "Kirigakure no Sato," she said, looking up at the engraving on the gates to the village hidden in the mist as she and her entourage entered. Immediately she felt the bite of the cold mist on every bit of exposed skin, and she clutched the heavy cloak tighter to her body in response. She was spoiled by the warmth of Konoha, leaving her twice as susceptible to the cold. Villagers from Kiri walked the streets without even a coat, however, and Suzune found herself stubbornly loosening her grip on her cloak. Striding proudly down the streets as though she wasn't freezing at all. "This is where we will be staying, Suzune-sama." her caretaker spoke, gesturing towards an inn to their right. The genin merely nodded, doing her best to hide just how eager she was to run into the warm building. Throw herself into a warm bath before curling up in nice, clean sheets. Now that would be a vacation. But her advisor was quick to dash any hopes of luxury as he revealed a lesson plan the moment the group was situated in their rooms. "We'll begin tomorrow. Have a good evening, Miss Oda." the man said, bowing his head as he took his leave. A loud groan escaped the heiress lips as she flopped back onto her bed, staring at the ceiling with a look of disdain. "Screw that." she grumbled, feeling particularly defiant of even her father's wishes as she threw herself from the bed. Her hands quickly collected her things from the table in the room, most of which were thing intended for combat, such as pouches or her hammer. Strapping the metal weapon to her back, she left the room without her cloak. Ignoring the chiding of her caretaker as she made her way out of the inn and back onto the streets of Kirigakure. "You wanted me to see the sights? Alright. I'll go see the sights then!" she smirked, thinking back to her father's orders. ------------------------------------------------- "Where the hell am I?" Suzune groaned, pushing a branch out of the way as she weaved through this maze of a forest. In the distance she could hear the loud rumbling of water, a waterfall? Well, the only way to find out was to continue pushing forward, and she had absolutely no clue where she was, or where she was going. After ten minutes of walking in circles and breaking tree branches or flattening a bush whenever something moved, she finally reached a clearing. Just as she suspected, there was a waterfall, and it was emptying into a half frozen lake. It was a beautiful sight to behold. And she wasn't quite sure if it was the scenery or the sharp, icy air that was so breathtaking.
"W-who's there?!" she stuttered, shivering from the cold as she threw a kunai in the direction of chakra and rustling leaves. Was it... that assassin?! Her right hand quickly reached to grip the handle of her hammer, ready to fight at any moment. tags: Shimo Rengetsu MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

Training, that was on his mind everyday to get himself stronger, faster, better than he was before. He had to keep going and each day he would push himself to the breaking point to get himself to his goal. He had started early that morning, getting right to work the moment he had climbed out of bed by gripping onto one the higher placed shelves in his home and proceeded to start doing pull ups to help his arms stretch and tone. He did about fifteen reps before dropping down, immediately doing squats to help his legs stretch and awaken as his arms as he thought about what he would have for breakfast, probably end up being some rice and a various assortment of vegitables with some fish. Squats and pull ups aside, he finished out the rest of his regiment with some minor stretching and yoga before finally moving to set about his other tasks, breakfast and a bath.
Cleaned, stretched, and full on food, he quickly found himself readying the equipment he was going to be bringing a long with him. Today he was gong to work on his swordsmanship by himself in a little secluded spot that he liked to venture to. On the way there however, he would practice a little bit of weight training to help bolster his body's strength, allowing him to develope a faster mobility over time. So he got himself dressed in his black sleeveless Shihaksho, making sure his sash around his waist was tight and secured before reaching for the headband he had and tied it around one of the sleeve loops that rested upon his shoulder. He grabbed his Hiyori next, placing the large white cloak over his back and shoulders before securing it as well. He secured his sword inside of the sage upon his waist instead of his back due to the training he was going to be doing on the way to his spot, the thought of it caused him to stare at the two buckets he had gathered with the full loads of water in each.
He grabbed a long stick he had in the corner of the room, sliding it upon the grip rings and hefted the two barrels up and rested the bar upon his shoulders as he wabbled his way out of the door to his home and closed it behind him. As he began to jog with the weighted barrels on his shoulders, he could already tell he was going to be sore later on. The buckets were heavy, the sound of the water sloshing inside of the buckets as he took each step was enough to let him constantly know what it was he was doing. He passed by villagers as he ran, giving hello's and quiet nods to those he passed on his way through. Wasn't far now, he could feel his excitement rise as he took each and every step. As he neared the outskirts of the village, he passed by a small convoy of people bearing the symbol of Konohagakure upon them as they moved past him and while it certainly peaked his interest he was far to busy to investigate it further.
He had arrived at where he needed to be, panting and sweating slightly as he dropped the two buckets carefully upon the ground and went about removing his hiyori along with it to help free up his arms from their large sleeves. He winced a bit as he pulled his sword from it's sheath and removed it from the sheath and smiled as he gave it a few swipes for good measure to get the feel for it in his arms. He began by swiping in a few standard stances, vertically downward swipes combined with a horizontal swipe afterwards. "Right...okay that feels about right. Man that running was pretty taxing, guess I better be careful and take it a bit slow for now.", he said to himself as he exhaled a soft breath before he lunged forward and swiped hard, quickly spinning the sword to hold it reversely in his hand and gave another large swipe, hearing the sword swipe through the air with a soft whine. ==========================================================================================================
It had been a few hours when he finished up, sighing as he sheathed the blade and smiled. His body was racking at him for pushing himself as much as he did before he had gotten here. He reached for his Hiyori when his ears twitched, head jerking over to his side as he listened in intently, hearing a voice speak aloud. It was a woman, and she seemed to be lost judging by the frustration in her voice which meant he had to go help the person out after all this wasn't exactly a safe place to be left alone in. He left the buckets behind as he moved through the woods, low and quiet as he headed towards the direction she had gone in which to be quite honest was rather easy to pick up on once he found it. Smashed limbs, flattened bushes, the place looked like someone went insane out here and just started smashing everything. 'Was this even a girl to begin with? I'm probably losing my mind after being out here so long.', he thought as he moved until he saw a clearing ahead of him and in it a figure.
The figure called out it's question, the voice clearly distinguishing itself as a woman as he moved out from the woods and calmly neared her, making sure to keep a bit of distance between them. "You know, if you're lost you should try retracing your steps, wasn't that hard to get to where we are now thanks to that path of smashed bushes you left.", he said frowning, motioning behind him as his eyes focused upon her arms holding the large hammer.

LEND ME YOUR HAND AND WE'LL CONQUER THEM ALL ❝ Who the hell was this guy? Her lips curled downward into a frown, and a furrowed brow framed the dead stare she gave the mysterious boy. He was only a few inches taller than her, and she couldn't quite analyze his build under the large yukata he wore. But her gaze quickly skimmed over the details of his clothing, settling on his stark white hair. It was a color rarely seen in Konoha, and she found herself spending an absurd amount of time wondering if it was natural or not. And then, his sword. Finally noticing he was armed, her grip on her hammer only tightened further, and her dead stare drew into that of a suspicious glare. "Oi, snowball." she said, completely ignoring his remarks on her lack of direction, or even bothering with the formality of asking his name. She wouldn't be bothered by such mannerisms outside of Oda land. And especially not in the presence of someone who could very well be an assassin with a bounty in his pocket that had her name on it. "State your business." she said, gaze flickering between his sheathed sword and his eyes. As her eyes moved about, she caught a glimpse of his forehead protector, Kirigakure. So he was from the mist. It made sense, considering their current location. But Suzune had fought a shinobi from Kirigakure before, and it hadn't ended well. Her grip tightened at the thought of the awful assassin who'd put her in the hospital for a week during the Chunin Exams. The assassin had been after her life, and Suzune was reminded that she was lucky to even be alive. As the young woman was merely posing as a genin. But she'd lost out on a promotion to the rank of Chunin, and been stuck in a hospital bed for a whole freaking week. Not again, she thought, yanking her hammer off of her back and swinging it around in front of her. "If you want to kill me, cut the bullcrap and fight me already!" MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

'Oh good...she's staring at me with a angry look.', he thought to himself as the girl across from him examined his stature. He in turn did the same, noting the difference in height as well as her clothing and the handle of some kind of weapon upon her back. To think there was someone out there shorter than he was, to be honest it felt nice, kind of refreshing actually. The garments she was dressed in though, they were definantly fancy that was for sure, not something he had seen too often in Kirigakure, like she was someone important. 'So who is she...and why is she here?', he thought to himself and he was about to ask that very question until she rudely spoke to him, and the nick name she gave him actually sealed the deal.
"Sn-Snowball!?", he exclaimed as he glared at her now, his calm demeanor disappearing as he felt a flood of emotions rush through his head, the one that was dominant at this point was annoyed. She wasn't exactly a nice person it seemed, or rather she was brash and clearly didn't have the respect to show him the same kindness as he was trying to show her. 'Wow...coming into another person's country...and you treat them like some common vagabond.', he thought until his eyes fell across her sleeve and he was able to see a forehead protector with the Konohagakure symbol embeded upon it. 'Ah...the fiery personality of those from the land of fire.', he thought to himself, annoyed slightly more now as he rolled his shoulders.
He could see she was being impatient now, withdrawing the hammer from her back now as she readied to defend herself. "So you come to my village, treat me like some kind of peasant, then you have the nerve to draw a weapon on me?", he said aloud, reaching up to the hilt of his sword and gripped it tightly. "I don't know why you think I'm here to kill you, but drawing your weapon on a shinobi of Kirigakure isn't exactly a smart thing to do. I will defend myself to the fullest...", he said alooud before the sword was withdrawn from it's sheath. He gave it a few rapid spins before taking a stance, gripping the sword with both hands as he rose it up, the tip pointed towards her as his hands were up by his head in a stabbing like strike formation, watching her for a sign of a threat.

LEND ME YOUR HAND AND WE'LL CONQUER THEM ALL ❝ "Mm," she nodded, clearly either not sensing his distaste for the nickname or just outright ignoring it. "I don't have a name for you, so until then, you're Snowball." she stated, although knowing Suzune, the nickname was bound to stick. Even after all these years of knowing Jiyuu she still referred to him as Spikey more often than not. Though this situation differed greatly. This was a Kirigakure shinobi. Not a teammate, and not a friend. He was a potential enemy, and the moment he'd drawn his weapon, she'd pegged him as one until he could prove otherwise. Was it wrong of her to assume the worst of him based on her past experience with a Kiri nin? Perhaps. But she wasn't a cat. She only had one life, and she was hellbent on living it. If that meant being a tad distrusting of Kirigakure shinobi, then so be it.
"I haven't treated you like a peasant!" she frowned, the accusation resonating with her on a far more personal level. "You are a stranger. An armed threat. We don't live in such a kind world where I can just trust anyone I meet!" she yelled, falling into a defensive stance as her eyes followed the tip of his blade down to his wrist. Just from the way he held the hilt, she could easily assess that his level of skill with a blade was above that of a mere Genin. She had a keen eye for Bukijutsu users, as any proud Oda should. And her instincts told her not to underestimate him.
But that didn't mean she'd back down.
"Doton: Ryūsei Shawā!" she yelled, holding her hammer in one hand while the other formed a hand seal. The earth in front of her was ripped apart, causing the dirt and rock to levitate, forming three hard balls of rock in front of her. Swinging a leg back, she brought her hammer behind her like a baseball bat, and without warning she swung forward. The mallet-like head of her hammer connecting with one of the rocks, sending it hurtling forward at high speeds towards her white haired opponent. Without relenting, she hit the following two, and waited to see if any had connected.
