"a pessimist who transformed to an optimist in his prime"
After the finding out the owl's name, team one had resumed their mission. Kenta never had any pets or really even played with any animals as a child, so the thought of owning one brought curiosity to the young ninja and hoped that he would see the owl again but it then jumped from Hitomi's shoulders to Shido-sensei's . Kenta looked at Shikai who was just as amazed with Hitomi as Kenta was. Shikai then took the lead again, almost unfazed by the weather and marched onward towards the hot springs. Doing his best to put up with the weather, Kenta marched on with the rest and noticed that it was starting to affect Hitomi a little bit also. She took a took a drink of water to cool off and within seconds, Shido-sensei pointed off towards a big building and informed the team that we were right around the corner.
The first thought that entered Kenta's head was that the hot springs were bigger than he imagined. As they moved closer, his sensei started telling everyone of basic expectations and what would happen next. What He had said about him sort of made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He had talked about his other personality and about not using it. Sure Kenta had not really talked about his ability to his teammates but Shido-Sensei didn't have to say it out loud, and he must know that he does not have control over it. Quietly, Kenta responded "yes sensei".
They walked into the hot springs and it was as big inside as it looked outside. They got checked in then sensei told everyone of the schedule for the day. The first things Shido said was that they were sharing a room. This made Kenta feel slightly uncomfortable considering that growing up. The only people that entered Kenta's house was his parents friends outside of the small family of three. Also, there was a girl on the team and this made Kenta feel a bit awkward also considering that not only had Kenta had any friends in his house, or even spend the night at his house, he certainly didn't have any girls sleep in his room, or even enter it besides his mother. Feeling mixed feelings about the sleeping situation next to what Shido-sensei had said before even entering the hot springs, Kenta continued listening. After looking down at his watch, Kenta found out that it was noon, in which surprised him since he did not pack a watch, something to note for himself for future missions, and that work at the springs would not start for another two and a half hours.
Food would be arriving in half an hour and optional training would start in an hour. After thinking long and hard, Kenta decided on what he would do. "I think i will join you in the training sensei, it will be good for me". Kenta did not know how to walk on water yet but didn't want to admit it to everyone right in front of the office. After following Shido-sensei up to the second floor, they put there stuff away and they were left to do whatever they wanted. For Kenta, the first thing he wanted was rest. This was not the limit to his endurance but if he was going to do some training later, he wanted to be as close to rested as possible. He wasn't sure if anyone else would be eating but he asked his team anyways. "Are any of you going to be eating at 12:30? If you are would you mind nudging me, i think i'm going to catch a few", but before he could hear their answers, better yet finish his sentence, Kenta was out, slouched in a ninety degree angle on the floor against the wall in one of the corners of the room.
