Mission Name: Containing the Beast
Mission Rank: B-Rank
Suggested Shinobi: Team of Chunin/Jounin or Solo Jounin
Location: Rocky Mountain Range
OOC Information: The beast can be anything of your creation, or, a family of giant burrowing worms. They'd likely have armored bodies that would deflect projectiles, and millions of small, sharp teeth. Feel free to get as creative as you want! For this mission, it is up to the players taking it whether or not these beasts were summoned, or if they'd just been awoken from a slumber. These worms are particularly susceptible to the element lightning, due to their affinity with earth.
Mission Description: There have been reports of small, sudden earthquakes on the border of the Rocky Mountain Range and Taki no Kuni. These small quakes aren't like natural earthquakes, and upon further inspection of the areas where they occur, natural structures in the range such as caves will have caved in. However, the major oddity is the occurrence of holes in the ground. The shinobi of Taki no Kuni have begun investigating, and believe some kind of burrowing beast is behind the destruction. Head to the border of the Rocky Mountain Range and Taki no Kuni, to the east of Iwa, and meet with their representative. Your job is to assist in gathering information, confirming whether or not this 'beast' does exist, and if so, either containing it or destroying it.
Objective:
- Meet with the Takigakure representative to find out what has been going on.
- Investigate the area of the mountain range where the latest disturbance occurred.
- Upon discovering the beast(s), either contain or destroy them.
Payout: 500 Ryo
