Mission Name: Squashing the Resistance

Location: Konohagakure no Sato
OOC Information: The group of enemy shinobi should consist of at least five shinobi of B-Rank or higher. There can be more if you'd like, and their ranks can vary. You will be assisted by at least two NPC members of your ANBU Corps. Letting any of the enemies get away will result in failure of the mission. They all must be detained or killed.
Mission Description: One of the small towns on the border of Konohagakure no Sato has gone silent in the past week. No birds sent have been returned, effectively leaving the city in the dark. This has the elders extremely worried, and their fears were confirmed early this morning when a civilian from one of the neighboring towns requested an emergency meeting with either the Hokage himself or the council. He revealed that the town and it's inhabitants were being terrorized by a group of Konohagakure shinobi. The group claims to be the protectors of Konoha, and is staging a coup d'etat to overthrow the current Hokage, Ryoko, who they believe doesn't deserve his title as Kage. Innocent lives have been taken in the process as they closed off the town, and turned it into their area of operations. A small team of ANBU will assist you in taking back the town, and either restraining or killing these rebels.
Objective:
- Travel to the town in question.
- Protect the townspeople from any further harm.
- Either restrain this group to bring them back and lock 'em up, or kill them.
- Optional: Extend your stay to assist in building repairs.
Payout: 2000 Ryo
Additional Rewards: An additional 500 Ryo may be awarded for completing the optional objective.
