Welcome to Unison Sign! We are a reimagined Naruto site taking place in an alternate world to the one from the canon. The continent we live on has greatly destabilized since the emergence of chakra. Bijuu now roam the earth and secrets from centuries ago are being discovered. To protect themselves and to better prepare for the road ahead, clans of shinobi have started to band together in groups and are setting up villages in which they can reside free of discrimination. Join us as we build this world from the ground up.

OUT OF CHARACTER! Unison Sign is officially open! We've completely overhauled the site giving it a new look, new backstory, and new role playing system. We're still rolling out information posts and making changes to the board but feel free to get started on your characters and jump into the role play whenever you're ready. Make sure you are familiar with all of our new threads before you do though!
IN CHARACTER With the release of the bijuu and chakra reappearing in humans, the world has become incredibly unstable. To protect themselves from discrimination and prepare for the trials ahead clans of shinobi have started to gather together to form villages. Two villages already exist and this has put pressure on other clans to start to come together under their own banners. Will you help create these villages or do everything you can to stop them?

 - Kenta Yoshida - "a pessimist who transformed to an optimist in his prime" Kenta woke up early this morning , which would have been a surprise due to the fact that if he doesn't have plans, he usually sleeps in, but that was the thing, today was not a normal day. Today, Kenta decided to put his all into training and get stronger for his team. Kenta had spent part of the previous day, walking around the village and just seeing everyone working hard. This had inspired Kenta to also work hard so he decided to go train the next day and what better a place than Kumogakure's very own Turtle Island. Kenta decided to take his time and properly prepare for his solo training session, or at least he thought it was going to be a solo session. He packed his ninja tools, put on is normal clothes that he wears on missions. This consisted of black sandals, black shorts that go down just above the knees, a grey t-shirt, with a black vest on top of the shirt. After putting on his headband and ninja tool pack, he ate a light breakfast and headed for the training grounds.
The weather was not the hottest it had been this year but it wasn't too cold. "Perfect weather so far, looks like today is going to be a great day". Kenta had woken up early so he was in no hurry to get to turtle island but his pace wouold slowly speed up out of excitement of getting stronger. As far as Kenta knew, he would be doing some solo Ninjutsu training in hopes to learn some new jutsu and planned on just practicing on the dummies alone but was not totally against other people being there. Kenta figured that he had left pretty early but it wasn't a bad day so who knows if others would want to train today also. Growing up, kenta really didnt interact with other people his age so he wasn't completly sure how to interact with others. Most people would invite their friends or team members to train with them but Kenta wasn't quite sure how to ask, so he just went by himself.
He made pretty good time getting to the training area and the first thing he noticed was that no one was there at the moment. This made Kenta a bit more comfortable training since this is how he had been training all his life. He then proceeded to take a drink of water and start stretching.

Shido had a habit of wandering around aimlessly after missions. Coming back from a late night mission, Shido grabbed breakfast at a popular restaurant within the Kumo village. I think I need a good day's worth of sleep now. Shido thought this to himself as he headed back to his home. Just as he was passing one of the exits out of the village, one that lead to the turtle island, Shido observed as Kenta walked in the direction of the island.
Out of curiosity, Shido followed. Someone up this early, was intriguing. Had it been Shido, he would have been tucked away in bed. As Shido watched Kenta go into stretches, Shido smiled. Great to see my students take an interest in training. Especially this early in the morning. Shido waited until Kenta was done with his stretches. At this time, Shido leapt forward and aimed a kick, just barely missing Kenta, and hitting a tree. The kick was so precise and powerful that it splintered the tree in half. "It is a tricky technique to get your kick to damage a tree like that. But I know you excel at taijutsu. So if you would like some guidance on your training, I would not mind sticking around to help. I could even teach you precision so that you could perhaps do the same as I did. This technique is called 'Dynamic Entry'. It is a great offensive technique for surprise attacks. Plus, I know you can use the 'Leaf Whirlwind' and this technique would compliment that." Shido said this after bouncing off the tree and landing, standing, next to Kenta. Shido gave an encouraging smile. Though I might have freaked him out a bit with my surprise appearance.

- Kenta Yoshida - "a pessimist who transformed to an optimist in his prime" While Kenta was stretching, he entered a sort of meditation simply to calm his nerves and relax before he gave it his all in training. As soon as he had relaxed his body Kenta felt another presence in the area, slowly turning around a flash whizzed by his face catching him by surprise, falling on his ass and hearing a crashing sound. Disoriented, he attempted to figure out what was going on around him. What came back to him first was his hearing as he heard a familiar voice telling him about the kick that flew past him. “Shido-sensei!” Embarrassed after receiving a complement from his sensei, Kenta stood back up and bowed to his sensei to show appreciation.
Bringing his head back up, Kenta asked what his sensei was doing on Turtle Island so early in the morning. Seeing Shido in his mission clothes, Kenta figured that he had either just gotten back from a mission or was on right now. He doubted the latter due to Shido being right in front of him instead of out on his mission. “Do you really think that I could do that to a tree?” Kenta was aware that his taijutsu was better than most of his skill level even with his weaker than normal body, he still trained a lot by himself to strengthen himself for the day that others needed him. Normally, Kenta would practice on dummies but he honestly never thought about hitting a large tree out of caution of hurting his limbs.
“Would you mind showing me that technique again Shido-sensei?” Looking at the tree, he imagined himself doing the same thing. He knew that in order to cause that much damage, he would have to really focus on the balance of power and precision like his sensei had told him. “I had planned on coming here alone and training by myself but getting some one on one training would be much better. I’m not very comfortable working with other people but I will do my best to keep up to your expectations!” With a big smile on his face, Kenta prepared for some private training and looked forward to getting stronger, even if just a little bit.

"Well, the power of the person, has an effect. I think you could create some damage, but not like what I did, until you gain more strength. Still, I think it would be a great jutsu for you to learn." Shido gave a reassuring smile. "I am always happy to help m-my s-s-students." Shido stifled a yawn, then added an afterthought. "Even if I am doing it as soon as I come back from a mission. Still, it is worth seeing my students train and get stronger. Anyway, don't worry about any expectations. Just do what you can do, and that is all I expect."
Shido stepped back, and prepared to pounce. With a sudden leap forward, he jumped the air, and landed a straight kick into the tree again, causing it to crack in half, just like the first one. Shido pushed off away from the tree, doing a back-flip back to where Kenta was. "The trick is to allow the strength and power you have, to start from your upper body. Then, just as you're about to kick the tree, send that energy and strength throughout your body, all the way to your foot. Time it so that once your foot hits the tree, is the exact moment you sent the strength from your upper body to your lower body. If you don't start sending the strength from your upper body, you're just going to end up kicking the tree and not inflict damage. You'll know you're starting to get the hang of it once you see dents appear in the tree. Why don't you go ahead and try on a tree, and I'll watch to see where you can improve." Shido gave yet another reassuring smile, clapping a hand on Kenta's back in encouragement.
((So did you like the jutsu I picked out to teach Kenta? I figured since Shido has it learned, it would also work out to teach.))

So i will replace this with the actual post when i get to it but first; so i talked to fumiko about training with another person stronger than you and (ex: you are teaching me dynamic entry) as far as the staff have been concerned, you cannot be taught a jutsu. This thread would only be a taijutsu training thread that can be used to rank up taijutsu, and that i would still have to buy the jutsu for the jutsu shop. She did on the other hand bring it up in staff chat but i'm pretty sure the idea was shot down so yeah. i can't learn dynamic entry but that doesn't exactly mean we cant continue on the path we have already started carving, it just means that it will count as a training thread.
