Kensaku Kanada You're waiting for a purpose, I already got mine general info
shinobi info
appearance
personality
biography Kenny was born to a small family in Iwagakure. There was nothing about this family to separate it from the other ninja families; no special hidden techniques or genetic kekkei genkai. No patterns of outstanding talent that every generation followed. They lived, they trained, they worked. It was a good life, in spite of and because of its simplicity. Of course, Kensaku Kanada was tested to see if he could enter the village's Academy, and, of course, he passed with average marks. He wasn't bad within his class; Kenny was a quick study. He loved to learn, and the thing he loved to learn the most was strategy. Tactics were the place he was gifted, and in order to play off of that he learned to use chakra to control puppets; that there was strength in numbers was obvious. Humanoid puppetry, while not beyond his talents, was certainly not his greatest strength. When asked to design his own puppet, he assembled a large spider instead of the traditional humanoid. It was clanky and the venom barely made a person sneeze, but he still keeps that old spider up on a stand in his home, all the mechanisms since gutted and used to create others but the shell sitting there as a reminder of where he came from. His skill in puppetry and tactics earned him the rank of 8th in his graduating class. Not the best, but certainly better than average. He was placed with a jounin and two other genin, and there he learned teamwork. He and his team worked like a well-oiled machine, the protection of their sensei keeping them out of harm's way until they took the chunin exams. Those exams, where they were made to work together without the aid of their sensei, were where Kensaku first became the Villain in Glasses. Kenny hadn't ever seen a plan of his fail so utterly as the one he tried to enact in the forest. Nobody died, thank God, but it was a close thing. The genin from Konoha saw through his strategy so completely, it was only his teammates' quick thinking that stopped them from failing the exam. Kensaku would've been able to salvage it, had he not been in shock over seeing his friend's broken arm. The next round of the exam, the arena matches, was the Villain in Glasses' debut. It was an entirely different Kensaku; cold, calculating. A ruthless, heartless man, not the happy and awkward and optimistic Kenny that everyone from Iwa knew. The Villain took on the ninja from Konoha who broke his teammate's arm, and his spiders crushed both of the other genin's shins before the match was called. The second Kensaku left the battlefield, he was his normal self again. The Villain in Glasses made a repeat appearance every time Kensaku had to deal with an opponent in combat, though he didn't brutally disassemble everyone he fought. That treatment was reserved for the person who had hurt his comrade. That restraint in his other matches was probably what let him pass; it made the first match appear clearly as the calculated statement that it was; don't mess with Iwagakure Team 4. Kensaku went back to a normal routine after becoming a Chunin, making regular use of the Villain in Glasses persona whenever he came into contact with other ninja. His team still worked well together, and the member who'd been disqualified by a broken arm took the exam again next time and passed easily. Kensaku, for his part, became a Jounin, recognized for his skills in combat, reputation, and grasp of tactics and strategy. He hasn't yet taken on a team, though that may change in the near future. Currently, he strives to improve himself and to serve Iwagakure with distinction. | ooc info ☆ NAME Abbot ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS n/a ☆ FACE CLAIM Log Horizon shiroe, Kensaku Kanada THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO Abbot.
