Appearance: A spider-shaped puppet, the size of a large dog. It is made of steel, with all the joints protected by a loose mesh that serves to keep out small particles. The fangs are hollow and can be filled with a number of different venoms using a mechanism inside the spider's head. Each of the 8 legs is sharpened to a fine point.

Description: The spider can walk anywhere. Walls, ceilings, water, all are fair game. If there is time to prepare, Kensaku can use the chakra threads to hang the spider over a tree limb or like object, allowing it to slide down from said branch like a spider on a web. The limbs are strong, and can crush a man's bones if one is foolish enough to allow oneself to be caught in the grip of all 8 legs. The spider carries two doses each of four different venoms that it can inject through its fangs.

- Visage-Twisting Venom: The person bitten suffers from severe pain as the venom scars their skin. While not lethal, this poison hurts a lot and leaves scars that last until treated by a medical professional. Treatment of the poison does not have to be done quickly and is not particularly difficult; this poison is meant to cause pain and mental distress.
- Chakra-Weeping Venom: The person bitten suffers from disruptions to their chakra network as long as the poison remains in their system, typically ten to thirty minutes. The disruptions do not cause anything more than discomfort normally, but whenever the afflicted attempts to shape chakra, a disruption will strike and force too much energy out with the technique, effectively making every jutsu of the target's more chakra-intensive. The venom is comprised partially of Kensaku's chakra, and that energy burns itself out within the aforementioned time limit after injection, rendering the venom inert. ((This poison can last for 4 posts in combat before it burns off, due to the accelerated activity in the victim's chakra network.))
- Blunted-Mind Venom: This poison is neutralized by adrenaline, and is, therefore, useless during pitched combat. When adrenaline is not present; when Kensaku has caught someone or something unawares, the venom causes drowsiness, drunkenness, and, in most cases, sleep. It lasts for 4 hours, or until adrenaline is introduced into the victim's system.
- Chakra-Neutralizing Venom: This poison is a more concentrated form of the Chakra-Weeping Venom. The fluctuations in the chakra network caused by it give the victim extreme discomfort, and prevent anyone with a Ninjutsu rank lower than Kensaku's Puppetry rank from shaping chakra into Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or any of the derivatives thereof. However, it burns itself off much faster; typically only lasting for 5 to 15 minutes. ((This poison can last for 2 posts in combat before it burns off, due to the accelerated activity in the victim's chakra network.))
The puppet need not inject venom with every bite, and might simply bite to injure an opponent.
The spider can also use Iwagakure no Jutsu and Mokuragakure no Jutsu like Kensaku, in order to more effectively ambush opponents; Kensaku runs the chakra threads through the ground after the spider in these cases.
