appearance

Takeshi is a fairly tall young man, standing at five feet and ten inches. He possesses a muscular physique, honed from years of fighting, as well as a pale complexion. His face remains rather youthful and rounded in shape, though his nose is slightly crooked. He has thin lips and piercing red irises. His hair is a scarlet colour and worn short, although much of it is styled in such a way that it points upwards like a crown.

He often wears a pair of goggles over his forehead as well as black trousers, black zori and a red, furry coat with tattered ends. He rarely wears a shirt, although he does carry a pouch on his right hip for his tools.

personality

Takeshi, among other things, is incredibly rude and selfish. He tends to not think of other people's feelings when he says or does things and often doesn't care to apologize even when its been brought to his attention. He only ever does things because it benefits him and is only willing to help others out when he feels that there's some kind of reward for him. Takeshi could easily be said to lack any sort of empathy towards others. His blunt, straightforward mannerisms only emphasize this.

Takeshi is also violent and impatient. He doesn't respond well to criticism or insults and is quick to exchange blows with someone. Having spent much of his childhood picking fights, he's come to see violence as an appropriate response to any perceived slights against him. He values his own strength above all other things and desires to become the strongest person in the village for no other reason than because he can. He certainly doesn't care if he hurts anyone along the way to accomplishing this goal.

Takeshi however is also a lonely individual. A part of him craves attention and love, but he is also incredibly distrusting of people. As a result, he deliberately antagonizes everyone he meets in an attempt to keep them away and often goes as far as refusing to address people by their names.

biography

Takeshi's story begins with his mother, Himura Yasuho. Himura Yasuho was a Shinobi of Iwagakure who fell in love with a young man. The two were close, spending much of their free time together. Yasuho ended up proposing to the young man and he accepted, making the two fiancés. Everything seemed alright. Unfortunately, the young man was stricken with illness. Despite their best efforts to find a cure, the young man slowly ended up dying, leaving Yasuho with a child to raise by herself.

When Takeshi was born, his mother showered him with love. She cared deeply for her son and treated him well, although being a single mother wasn't easy. Despite her best efforts to do what she could for her son, she ended up having to enlist in the Shinobi once more and return to her old lifestyle. She would often visit Takeshi between missions - something Takeshi looked forward to - but at the age of five Takeshi was brought bad news from a pair of Shinobi. His mother had died on a mission beyond Iwagakure's borders.

Shortly after Takeshi was placed in an orphanage in the middle of the village. Despite the village's prosperity, the orphanage was run by greedy people who cut corners on basic necessities and only put a small amount of effort into looking after the children. As a result, Takeshi ended up getting bullied often by the other kids, who took advantage of him as the new kid. Takeshi desperately missed his mother, but things couldn't go back to the way they were.

Takeshi eventually started lashing out violently as a means of protecting himself, picking fights with others. He would frequently be reprimanded by his caretakers, although he never stopped getting into arguments and fights. Desiring to get out of the orphanage he'd grown up in, he looked towards the Shinobi Academy and decided to join, reasoning that he was more than strong enough to become a Shinobi. After spending several years in the Academy, he was eventually promoted to Genin.
