Mission Name: National Emergency: Shipwreck on Ryoshi Coast!
Mission Rank: C-Rank
Suggested Shinobi: Team of Genin + Sensei
Location: Kirigakure; Ryoshi Coast
OOC Information: This is a collaborative mission between Kirigakure, Konohagakure and Kumogakure. And as such a Genin Team from each of these villages may take on the mission. These threads may be made in your own waters, or, you may meet up with another team from any other village. This mission is intended to strengthen ties between the villages. The only real danger here is the weather and the predators in the water. You may walk on water or simply swim, but whatever you choose, exercise caution as this is a major storm. For any medic-nin of B-Rank or higher that would like to help, there is a separate mission for you here.
Mission Description: All hands on deck! With the storm rolling through, all fishing boats were instructed to dock at the nearest fishing port and sit the storm out. However, fisherman can be incredibly stubborn, and the ship Furui Kurage (Old Jellyfish) was spotted leaving a port within an hour before the storm hit. Any attempts to contact them have turned up no results, and their friends and family fear the worst. It is likely that the ship may have gone under, stranding those on it in the cold waters off the coast of Kirigakure. They likely only have an hour or so before pneumonia kicks in, and that's assuming the sharks don't get them first. Fellow fisherman have asked for the help of shinobi to go out on the waters, despite the storm, and save those stranded at sea. Kirigakure asks for any help it's neighbors in the Land of Fire and Lightning may offer them, as the waters are vast and wide, and the waves may have carried the fisherman far off from where the ship capsized.
Objective:
- Travel to the coast with your team.
- Head out into the waters by boat, by foot (walking on water), or by swimming and search for the fisherman who are lost at sea. Furui Kurage was carrying roughly 15 men aboard. But save as many as you can, casualties are expected.
- Return as many of the fisherman to land as you can. Ensure those still alive receive medical care.
- Optional: If able, bring back the bodies of the dead as well so that their families may put them to rest.
Payout: 250 Ryo
Additional Rewards: The families of those lost are giving 50 Ryo as a reward for every fisherman returned. Each team may save up to 5 fisherman for an additional reward of 250 Ryo. If all 5 fisherman are saved, you may also app one free C-Rank Ninjutsu upon completion.
