Welcome to Unison Sign! We are a reimagined Naruto site taking place in an alternate world to the one from the canon. The continent we live on has greatly destabilized since the emergence of chakra. Bijuu now roam the earth and secrets from centuries ago are being discovered. To protect themselves and to better prepare for the road ahead, clans of shinobi have started to band together in groups and are setting up villages in which they can reside free of discrimination. Join us as we build this world from the ground up.

OUT OF CHARACTER! Unison Sign is officially open! We've completely overhauled the site giving it a new look, new backstory, and new role playing system. We're still rolling out information posts and making changes to the board but feel free to get started on your characters and jump into the role play whenever you're ready. Make sure you are familiar with all of our new threads before you do though!
IN CHARACTER With the release of the bijuu and chakra reappearing in humans, the world has become incredibly unstable. To protect themselves from discrimination and prepare for the trials ahead clans of shinobi have started to gather together to form villages. Two villages already exist and this has put pressure on other clans to start to come together under their own banners. Will you help create these villages or do everything you can to stop them?

Beneath the cloudless sky, the village of Konoha was going through an unusually scorching day. Without so much as a small gust, the bright sun had full reign over the weather. Some would’ve called it unbearable, while others actually enjoyed the heat wave. Hara Kin was among the latter. A blissful yawn escaped from the Kitsune of Konoha as she stretched on top of a tall roof. That had been a wonderful nap. Even dressed in black, she wasn’t bothered by the sunshine. Quite the opposite actually. After the trip to the ridiculously rainy country, this kind of weather really hit the spot. Hot and dry, exactly how she liked it.
Inching to the edge of the roof, Hara sat down to watch he life below flow by. Today... She didn’t feel like doing anything. Especially not work. So far, the trickster had snoozed in the sun, emptied a whole bottle of juice, grabbed a bite at the ramen stand and then taken another nap. Oh, and she also tossed some random villager with an empty juice bottle just now. Wasn’t that plenty for one day? She certainly thought so. All the sleeping was so tiring after all~ Feeling another yawn coming up, she fell backwards and got comfortable staring up at the endless sky. Soon, the gentle snoring continued.
Little did the Kitsune know... that someone was after her. At the Hokage’s building, a team of genin had been given two scrolls and vague orders to make Hara read them. And the Hokage had even slipped in a playful bonus objective. Still, easier said than done. So far, their only lead was that the Kitsune liked to nap on rooftops. But Konoha wasn’t any small village. Going through all the buildings one by one would’ve taken a small eternity. If the genin wished to get this done today, they needed to begin investigation. Any clue would be a good start.

 | Today marked another basking in the golden sun for Jiyuu, but today wasn't the joyous of days, oh by all word of the meaning no. You see, as much is Jiyuu disgruntled by his harsh reality, he had to be drafted by the one Jounin in all of Konoha, solely known as the Trickster. It’s something Jiyuu isn't particularly fond of, among other thing such as his ‘combative’ teammate, Suzune. Even then, he stresses on thinking he’s only sane person in all of Team Hara, assuring himself that almost all hope is lost. But who knows, maybe the worst of training can prove useful in the long run? A truly foolish and naive thought, passing through the orange head’s mind, time and time again. Nevertheless, Jiyuu is now tasked the mission to find his own teacher, Hara Kin, to train her students. There was only but one thought, that constantly played out in his mind ever since this very mission was brought to him. “What kind of Shinobi, needs her own freakin’ mission, to TRAIN the students?!” He wasn't happy, not one bit. Not to mention, the ludicrous objective of the mission wasn't the only thing he had to worry about. To put it in just a single name, Suzune, oh how problematic she will be. But that’s not all, an unfortunate victim has been placed on the team, a normal girl he had a brief encounter with named, Honoka. Just how can this any worse? Finding this enigmatic fox of a Jounin in this entire village. The teen set forth to the scheduled meeting point, one of the simple luscious parks scattered all around Konoha but it’s charm points are, the beautiful bird nesting ground and the water fountain. Shaded in his signature hoodie, he sighed in frustration of what’s to come. Looking from side to side, he scanned the area for his teammates for the mission or rather, it should called Trickster’s victims. “Man, where are they? That hammer girl better not slow me down today,” he silently scoffed a thought to himself, waiting impatiently for his two companions. Jiyuu knew he was doomed, might as well make the most of it, right? all this time i was searching for the rain |

Honoka woke up early that day, getting ready for her first mission, not with her team. Sitting in front of her mirror she brushed out her long purple hair, deep in thought. There was only one person she was, well, slightly familiar with, Jiyuu. But the other, not so much; she has heard of the Oda clan, beyond that not of the people within. Honoka sighed and muttered, “Bully for them.” As she pulled part of her hair back making the first of her pig tails. Hopefully, they could all work together, Honoka thought as she rested her hands on her lap. She stayed like that for a few moments, different things going through her mind before she blinked getting herself focused once more, making the second pig tail. Honoka stared at her reflection for a few moments before feeling satisfied.
Standing up, she got ready and headed out of her room, pulling a large, tan jacket with her. Going down the stairs quickly, Honoka pulled the jacket on and poked her head into the kitchen; all was quiet, father must have been at the hospital already and her mom must still be asleep. Honoka sighed and slipped out of the house, heading towards the way that the team was supposed to meet. And sadly, it was only with the students, the teacher wasn’t even going to be there, there was no logical sense for Honoka and it irked her. Luckily, this actually gave her time to figure out her team mates and their interaction with this cruel sensei.
Honoka accelerated her pace from walking into jog and finally a running pace. After what felt like a few minutes, she reached her destination, a park, a nice one, too! Honoka’s breath was slightly quickened as she slowed down and looked around to see if she could spot Jiyuu or the other person, Suzune. Looking around, she finally spotted one of them. She quickly walked up to Jiyuu. “What are you scoffing about?” Honoka smiled, putting her hands into the pocket of her jacket.
