biography Aoi was introduced into the world of the shinobi at a very early age in his life. Both his mother and father were shinobi. His mother being a member of ANBU, and his father a former member. His father was entrusted with his very own team of three Genin to train and protect, molding into great shinobi. As a result, Aoi's parents often trained him on their own time, preparing him early on. By the time Aoi had entered the academy, he had already mastered many of the skills taught. Passing the exam was nothing for Aoi and he became a Genin at a very young age. However, Aoi had a tough time making new friends during his short time at the academy. This was primarily because of the gap in his skill over the rest of the academy. Many of the young children bullied him because he stood out so much. Upon graduating from the academy, Aoi was immediately placed into a team, led by his own father. His father's previous team of Genin had all passed the Chuunin exams, and one had already even become a Jounin and assigned his very own team. Aoi's father was assigned Aoi and two other Genin as team three. Their names were Ayami and Kai. At the beginning, neither of them liked each other. Their styles of combat and personalities all clashed with one another. Shortly after leaving the academy, Aoi's mother had disappeared while on assignment. She was never located, but it is assumed that she had died. The news struck Aoi hard, and Aoi began to bottle up the emotion. Only a year after his mother's passing, team three was assigned a D-rank mission. It was a simple, harmless assignment. However, it wasn't as it seemed. The client that had requested the body guard mission failed to mention specific parts that would have bumped it to an A-rank mission. The fact that he was being pursued by a band of four highly skilled missing-nin. This caught the group off guard mid-assignment, resulting in the death of every one of Aoi's comrades, including his own father. Aoi watched as his father and team mates perished in front of him. Something snapped inside of Aoi, and his rage took over his body. He began to see red, and then nothing at all. When Aoi woke up, laying next to a tree, the first thing he could see were the bodies of his comrades, and his father. Laying next to them were the bodies of three of the four missing-nin. It took Aoi days to get back to Kumogakure, passing out immediately upon arrival. He woke up three days later in a hospital bed, with shinobi surrounding him. Blood was being taken, samples of his skin tissue, etc. Tests were being run. Aoi could not figure out why, until he glanced into the mirror across from his bed. There, on his right eye, was a mark that was not there before. His eyes widened, and he raised his right hand, touching the mark in disbelief. Aoi had no idea what had happened or where he had received this odd mark. Only a short year after the traumatic event, Aoi had challenged and passed the Chuunin exams, making him a Chuunin level shinobi. During this time, he had experienced something incredibly odd about his new mark. Whenever he'd get angry, the mark would begin to glow red, and he would be in searing pain. The angrier he got, the redder the mark would get, and the more it would hurt. The more it would hurt, the angrier Aoi would get, resulting in even more pain. It was an endless cycle, and he often found himself losing control because of it. Aoi became a Jounin three years after passing the Chuunin exams. A year after that, Aoi was placed into the ANBU. A darkness welled within him that made the ANBU the perfect place for him. He never had to work in groups. His only responsibility was the mission he was assigned. That was the way Aoi liked it. Five years had passed, and Aoi served in the ANBU for the full five years until his twenty-first birthday. Aoi's anger problems only grew worse over these five years, and on his twenty-first birthday was removed from ANBU. This was a decision made by the Raikage, as Aoi's anger problems began to interfere with his work in ANBU. Since then, the Raikage has kept a close eye on Aoi, and a close eye on the mysterious curse mark that has such a hold on Aoi. | ooc info ☆ NAME Kurayami ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS Kazu Suzuki ☆ FACE CLAIM Fair Tail, Jellal Fernandes THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO Kurayami.
