Mission Name: National Emergency: Destruction of the Kannabi Bridge!

Location: Earth Country; Kannabi Bridge
OOC Information: This is a collaborative mission with Iwagakure no Sato. You may either do one joint thread, or both teams may split up and search the bridge separately. This mission is intended to strengthen ties between the villages. For any medic-nin of B-Rank or higher that would like to help, there is a separate mission for you here.
Mission Description: The Kannabi Bridge was built over the mouth of a mountain pass, and spans quite a large distance. The winds in the area are strong, constantly assaulting the bridge. Alongside heavy usage by merchants, the bridge takes quite a beating, and as such it has regular maintenance done on it every three months. However, when the maintenance crew began work on the bridge early this morning, something awful happened. Several explosions suddenly went off from below the bridge, disrupting the structural integrity of the bridge and causing it to collapse while the maintenance crew was still on it. Only two escaped the bridge's destruction, and they were forced to watch their friends fall to what they could only assume was their death. The survivors say that their boss, Hayase, had recently made an enemy of another maintenance team's leader. They believe that the leader of this other maintenance group, Kenji, is behind setting up the explosives in an attempt to kill Hayase. You are tasked with traveling to Kenji's home in the Earth Country and questioning him. From there, you are to head to the Kannabi Bridge and investigate the damages. Record your findings before assisting in cleaning the rubble.
Objective:
- Travel to Kenji's home in the Earth Country on your way to the Kannabi Bridge. Find out his involvement, if any, with the destruction of the Kannabi Bridge. As well as his feud with Hayase. You will find that while Kenji was behind the explosions, he'd intended for them to set off before Hayase and his crew were on the bridge. No one was supposed to get hurt. Therefore, someone else must have triggered the explosive tags early. Find out who and why.
- Head to the Kannabi Bridge and record your findings, if any.
- Assist in collecting the rubble of the Kannabi Bridge and prepare it for repairs.
- Optional: If you were able to find out who was behind triggering the explosive tags, bring them to the Iwagakure jail alongside Kenji.
Payout: 250 Ryo
Additional Rewards: Upon completion of the optional objective, each shinobi will be rewarded an extra 250 Ryo as the bounty for Kenji and his accomplice. You may also app one free C-Rank Ninjutsu if you successfully complete the optional objective.
