MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | The parade was a huge part of the festival; One that Ryoko had not needed to be a part of last year. Because he had only been the Hokage for several weeks at that time, the Elders had taken his spot on center stage for this event. Even though it just required him to accompany the procession and give a speech afterword honouring his predecessors he was dreading it. The village’s opinion of him was changing for the better but that didn’t mean they wanted to hear him talk about the former leaders of the village like he had the experience to know what they’d been through. This was his fear this year. Luckily for him the first part was easy. Preparing the honourary display for the first four Hokage that would be carried through the parade was already done. He would literally have to sit in his chair or, if the mood struck him, get up and dance with the people around him. Though so many people might be confused by this that he figured there was a possibility that he would get taken to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation. On second thought, no dancing for Ryoko. Now it was just minutes before everything was going to get underway. He could hear the noise coming from outside and wondered just how many people from across the land had gathered. The invitation had been sent out to all the surrounding villages and countries and it was likely that this could be the largest festival they’ve had in a long time because of how strong ties were. There were always going to be problems between villages but in times of celebration like this it seemed to bring people together. Normally this would be fantastic but as far as Ryoko was concerned today more people did not equal more merry. |
