I'm bored to death in heaven And down alone in hell I am the fallen angel Not much of the day had dawned as the sole body of the female Missing-Nin travelled quietly through the thin borders between Hi no Kuni and Kaze no Kuni. Her destiny; Kawa no Kuni. Her reason; a deadly SS-Rank rogue with blood on his name and corpses in his past requested her presence before him. Honestly if she hadn't known the man beforehand she would have refused entirely. Then again she couldn't exactly refute such powerfully ranked Shinobi. She could end with a kunai to the neck. That wasn't really the ending she was expecting to her story, nor would she allow it to happen. What could Kazama possibly need from her now? Flashbacks played in her mind, memories of Amegakure no Sato and the Kage Summit. She couldn't yet believe it had occurred at all. Tsukiya and her had blown up that skyscraper and gotten away with it. Incredible. Jena hadn't visited the Land of Rivers before, dreading that its proximity to the desert would infest the environment with sand and the likes. Up to now, not reaching the country yet, she had seen more hints of trees and green rather than golden pebbles. Well that was sure a good sign. She grinned in relief at the erased doubt, quickening her pace as doing so. The sun was yet hovering at a strange angle, hammered to the heavens as always. She had to squint her eyes to brush off the annoying rays, and figured it would be a better road walking underneath the trees abound. Journeying by foot was tedious at times, but what could she do? She had no oversized pet that would carry her comfortably on its back and rush with the speed of light, no. She had to conform with this slow trip. While it would be amazing to own a pet, she figured it would be too troublesome and way expensive to care for. The yellow globe high in the sky descended from its last position, signalling a good hour had long gone. In the distance she could see it, the limits were the name of the Minor Country was engraved on signs and barks. Her leg muscles were beginning to tire, having resisted an unbelievable trajectory already. Nice thinking when she had spent years training excessively. Totally worth it. Trespassing without much inconvenience through Kawa no Kuni's borders, girl halted to check her brain for Kazama's instructions. He had sent a loyal ninja to her, with word of his beckoning to her and narrating where he was awaiting. Not hidden, the blond was never hiding. All in all she worked her memory to take out the Shinobi's message. Apparently fragments nudged her that he was spending some days in an abandoned home before... doing whatever business he had to do. Really she wasn't into meddling with that. Last thing she could wish for was getting herself buried for sticking her nose where it didn't belong. Jena pressed on, feet again dragging through the soil. He had specified the shelter was nearby the blend of sand and ground, close to where she had entered. He had told her the trees bent forward, and if she saw those awkward twigs it meant she was close. She raised her head, and guess what? Dark, jagged trees pierced the dirt floor up ahead, and as you went up it curved forward and dropped their canopies as if they were crying crippled leaves. Alright, this was so relieving. To her right she spotted the abysmal and endless Suna Desert, raging storms sweeping the barren wasteland. She wandered deep into the bizarre forest, taking note of anything abnormal that could perhaps be a house. There it stood, magnificently and ruined. Lodged between a square of gigantic, bent trees was a wooden, obscure home big enough to shelter a family. Jena concluded she had finally made it, and stepped closer to the intriguing, solitary home. Knocking the door was obviously mannerism, but she wasn't into that at all. Instead she moved to an unlocked window, peeking closely and noticing a big, slender shadow dressed in a kimono. Indeed, that was Kazama. She forced the window up carefully, snaking inside and halting when the man that had rapidly swiveled to recognise her. She thought bowing would demonstrate the respect she had for him, and would perhaps serve as an apology to breaking in. And so, she complied, upper body momentarily and faintly arching forward. "You called?" Jena inquired, narrowing eyes at the taller and greater figure patiently standing in front.
