Sunagakure, the Land Hidden by Sand. The village was located in the middle of a boring vast sandy desert that stretched for miles which was a true reflection of its name. Ryuza sat upright in his bed which was one of the few items that he possessed, he resided in a small room in one of the small apartments of Sunagakure. He barely had enough money to pay off the rent each month but he always managed to miraculously find some, this is the reason why Ryuza started taking on more missions despite his arrogant attitude, he knew he was the best shinobi in Sunagakure but he really needed to pay off his rent unless he wanted to live on the streets. Ryuza stared outside, it was a rare gloomy day in Sunagakure, the winds blew with fierce attitudes and they could potentially pack a large punch if one wasn’t ready to turn a corner. Despite the inclement weather, the streets were busy as usual, people were running errands, genin were running around playing ‘Ninja’ with one another and Jonin were doing their regular chores. Ryuza kind of liked the clouds shielding Kumogakure from the sun since his skin was kept fair even if he didn’t wear very protective clothes but he hated it too because the temperature dropped greatly, especially at night-time and due to his Katon nature it aggravated him. Yuki reached over to his old, wooden nightstand which creaked every single time it was touched and grabbed a necklace made from pearls which was his sister’s gift for him a long time ago. It helped cope with the emotional barrier between his sister and himself, they didn’t see each other much anymore but when they did it was a truly joyous moment. The young salamander tied the necklace around his neck and decided that he would be wearing it today.
He stood up and rubbed his eye’s, the sound of his poorly maintained bed made a crackling sound. Ryuza briefly stretched and then went straight to the washroom taking the longest piss in the history of the world. With hardly any food to work with, he decided he would take on a slightly profitable mission that would allow him to get some food into his house. Hopefully something that was fulfilling and could last him at least a week. When his pink-haired sister would move back in everything would be back to normal but now he had to cope with what little food he had and what little blessings came his way.
Heading out of his small room, he slid down the wooden hallway and that action was followed by another sliding motion down the stairwell. He had received a mission around a week ago that he had never got to and it was about cracking an odd number of cases where a boy had stolen a number of panties from innocent civilians, Ryuza chuckled, it was probably something he would do when he was younger. After quickly brushing his teeth, he headed outside the door in an attempt to crack the case that had been lingering on his mind for a while. While on his way to the heart Sunagakure he dodged many obstacles such as civilians, shinobi and bikes. Now, he remembered that the first crime scene was near the food joint just across the street from his location and that was the first place he was going to investigate. On his way to the food joint he overheard a few Genins arguing with one another, he decided to stop and break their fight up. He watched from the sidelines a bit, carefully eaves-dropping on their conversation, listening but with not much intent as to what they were arguing about. What he did figure out is that they were arguing about a boy, if he was not mistaken, the boy went by the name Tatsu. He had never heard that name but they were arguing on a stupid topic and that topic was who would earn the boy’s trust first. It took a few minutes for it to register in his head, but Ryuza knew he had heard the name Tatsu somewhere, he searched through the thoughts in his brain for a few seconds until he finally had recalled where he heard it. It was the name of the boy he was looking for and wasn’t it a coincidence that the two young genins were headed the way of the now closed down food joint?
Ryuza decided to follow the pair; they didn’t spot him because he was using his stealth to creep behind them. They looked around themselves before entering the closed down building, Ryuza followed but they were gone, the backdoor was shaking and it seemed that they were pretty fast mischief makers. As he followed with no caution, as soon as he was in the middle of the room two holes on both sides of the wall opened up and two arrows came shooting out from each, Ryuza ducked and two of the arrow’s clipped his shirt, if he hadn’t ducked a second earlier he would have been badly injured. He ripped the arrows out of his shirt and threw them to the ground; this meant that whoever he was chasing must have been a bit smart, Ryuza would give him that. Despite the fact he almost died, he continued on forward, tracking the duo. When he almost broke the backdoor in half while swinging it open, the pair of boys had vanished, they were nowhere to be seen and if they were right in front of him it would be hard to spot them due to the ever-moving crowd that plagued the streets of Sunagakure. Ryuza looked around but with no prevail, he decided on his next move and after a few quick seconds of debating with himself, a few flames erupted from his nose and he headed for the nearest store.
Standing at six foot even and weighing in about two-hundred twenty-six pounds, the shop owner was fairly lean and built for consistent combat, however, he was old and his days of fighting had most likely come to an end. His arms (particularly the back of his forearms, biceps, and shoulders) were scattered with a variety of scars most likely from battles. Overall, his body spoke volumes about his past as a shinobi at the front lines. With a mess of white hair that was not brushed nor was it tidied, his eyes were piercing red with a faint passive expression of disinterest. Obviously his attire changes every day, but at that time he wore a black shirt and pants with red lining, and a summer kimono tied tight at the waist - albeit the style sloppy and only wears the left sleeve and to top it off he wore a pair of black fighting boots. Walking up to the man, he posed a question directed towards him. “Did you see a pair of small kids running past here right now?”
The man simply shook his head up and down, when Ryuza asked him where they had gone, the man just pointed to Ryuza’s right which was the man’s left. With that said and done, Ryuza headed over the store the man directed him to. "Here we are. Shall we?”, Ryuza asked himself.
Ryuza nodded playfully and pushed the rusty door open, the door had 'Tatsu's Medicinal Herbs and Remedies' engraved onto it in a rather old fashion, in front of that door was another old door with a black handle and the same words engraved onto it, the young salamander pushed that open and as he entered a Ring a Ding Ding sound was emitted from the shop’s doorbell system. The shop was almost empty, many medicinal items and remedies could be seen on the various shelves. Quite a variety, from ass pain medicine to simple medicinal herbs. As he walked around he spotted a pair of kunai and shuriken, two of each (can I add to inventory?) and he proceeded to scoop them up. When he was at the last isle there was a door and when he kicked it open there was an old cellar there with various crates at the bottom.
Jumping into the cellar he found himself between various crates which all seemed like medicinal products, he opened one of the crates by simply bring his leg down on it and removing the top, it was a bunch of soldier pills and he decided to grab one which would definitely aid him in battle (can I add to inventory?). As he continued down the cellar there was stairs leading up and there was another door, he headed up the stairs and opened the door and he was back outside. Once again, the cheerful laughter of children and the songs of whatever birds lived in the desert were coming back to the young dragon’s ears but he had another problem. The kids were right in front of him and they were standing like bodyguards to a kid sitting on a obvious fake throne, sipping a glass of orange juice. The kid was covered in panties, they were littered all over the ground, he even had one wrapped around his forehead like an insignia that shinobi from Sunagakure wore. Pathetic.
The two bodyguards seemed intimidated by Ryuza, he wasn’t the tallest person to ever roam Sunagakure but he surely wasn’t the shortest person and due to the age difference he towered over the group which were each only around a mere four foot five each. Ryuza grinned and he got ready to battle, the two bodyguards ran straight for Ryuza and it seemed like they weren’t very experienced in battle. He quickly sidestepped both of them and then stuck his arm out, producing a clothesline of some damage. The kid’s stood on the ground, Ryuza did not want to hurt them and so he decided to strike fear in their eye’s. He quickly was surrounded by Katon all over his body and his temperature increased, the guards seemed to be amazed and their eye’s glowed even though he was their opponent. “Want your bodies to turn into a flame like this?” The kids simply nodded. “Well, if you do, stand back to that wall and follow me when you’re done.” The kids muttered to one another and then they nodded, they then started arguing with each once again but this time it was about who was going to be stronger. It was then time to beat the master, his jaw dropped when he saw Ryuza’s physique compared to his. The kid still had some baby fat left on him and probably hadn’t hit puberty but as he walked towards Tatsu, he played a dirty trick on the salamander.
The Tatsu pulled out a fake sword which almost looked real and Ryuza paused in his tracks, he cocked it at Ryuza and Ryuza moved back, he did not want to get stabbed by that, at least today. He would die on the battlefield but not to a sword, to the fists of the enemy, that’s how a true warrior died. Ryuza placed his hands up and Tatsu started to inch closer towards Ryuza. He then motioned for Ryuza to leave, Ryuza nodded and started to head back to the cellar but when he least expected it, with a quick 180 degree turn, Ryuza bolted at the kid and within seconds he was falcon punched, the sword fell from his hands and he went flying and eventually his back met a brick wall. Ryuza took a deep breath, his life wasn't over and he was close to completing the mission, he quickly collected all the panties in a bag that was close to the fake throne and he aimed to hand it over to Demiyah to take care of. He quickly darted to Tatsu and lifted him, he was knocked out cold and he motioned for the other two to follow. After he handed these three into the Kazekage’s Office so he could have a word with them, that kid named Tatsu was gonna’ get a hell of a beating.
