Description:
Gekido is a massive great sword wielded by Aoi Inoue, Jounin of the Hidden Cloud. This sword, when standing on the ground vertically, is measured to be a little over six feet tall. It is extremely heavy and weighs close to two hundred pounds. Because of this, it is nearly impossible to block without taking any damage. Instead, it must be dodged. Engraved on one side of the blade is a special charm. This charm allows for the sword's owner to swing the massive blade much easier. It still requires great strength. Aoi, the owner of the blade, is capable of swinging this massive blade with one arm, effortlessly. It has no special elemental attributes, and the blade is not made of any special material. It is simply made out of extremely thick metal. The blade is not terribly sharp and does not cut with ease. Rather, it is meant to crush limbs and other body parts. The metal blade is thick enough to act as a shield and block most basic attacks, such as kunai, shuriken, small blades, weak jutsu, etc.
This massive blade was discovered by Aoi Inoue himself, while on an assignment during his service in the ANBU. Heavily guarded by many traps, Aoi managed to snake through to come across this giant sword. Intrigued, Aoi picked it up. At first, it was far too heavy for Aoi to wield, but finally, it was as though the sword had chosen him to be the wielder. Aoi has since then used this weapon, and has grown incredibly efficient at using it's sheer weight and size to his own advantage.
