appearance

Devro stands approximately 5'11" and weighs 205 lbs. He maintains a muscular build with shapely arms and torso. His pectorals can be seen through his shirt. This is clearly do to weight and extreme body training. His hair extends down to his lower lumbar and is spiked throughout. He has studded piercings embedded through his nose, where his eyebrows should be, lower lip, and ears. The piercings also line his outer forearms. On his back, is a vertical scar from his right shoulder blade to his left lower back that was the result from a heated duel with a friend as a child. His left pectoral has the kanji for katon tattooed in red.

He tends to wear a skintight black shirt with a collar that comes up to his neck, which is similar to that of a turtle neck. The sleeves on his shirt come down to his elbows and he also wears fingerless leather gloves. He also wears standard black pants.The reason he wears his close tight is that he wants to have the bad boy look and succeeds at. His forehead protector has black fabric and is usually worn around his left arm. The reason he wears it on his arm is the excuse that it takes away from his face.

Around the village, he usually wears a black hooded jacket light blue thread outlining the edges. He may or may not wear the jacket on missions, but that usually depends on the environment or situation of the mission. Though, he mostly wears it regardless of the situation and only will occasionally take it off during a fight when he gets serious.

personality

Even before his time as a genin, he was taught that strength is what you thrive on, and that a strong ninja shows their strength in combat. To this day, he continues hold this to his heart. Unlike his other family members, he isn't really cool headed. As he easily gets anger, it's not best to get on his bad side. He is a man of action and isn't afraid of starting or jumping in a fight. Patience isn't his specialty. He prefers a blunt approaches to situations. He doesn't like to beat around the bush and prefers to be straightforward with a conversations.

He can be very conniving when he wants which leads some to believe that he can't be trusted. Fortunately for him, he has never gotten caught trying to manipulate his peers. The fact that he gets along with few people, is not surprising and also that he hangs out with the darker, shadowy crowd. Not many people like his company because of that.

One day he dreams to become a powerful ninja and even surpass the kages. He hopes to become a strong leader and strengthen his village through any means necessary. He currently doesn't really care to be a leader, but wants to make a change among other's whether people like it or not. The change he wants can surely have side effects to others around him. He also cares little for other's feelings of him and goes out of his way to be problematic.

Regardless of his negative traits he is gallant, strong, clever, motivated, and dedicated.

biography

Growing up with a younger sibling was complicated, his parent's took a lot of pride in his little sister. This angered Devro as he grew older. Everything he did seemed to be in vain. Nothing he did got his parent's attention like his sister. Unlike his sister, he was hardened into a what his father thought he should be. His father wanted him to take after him and his other family members and become a ninja. Many years even before the academy were spent honing his skills to become a top notch ninja.

Devro fought his father's teachings until he learned to eventually accept it. Because of the training he received, he started to only worry about himself. Not even family was of any concern to him. The only thing he worried about was power. He took his father's teachings the wrong way and became indulged with seeking strength and power within himself. Eventually, he wished for others to not be weaklings. It was like he could never see himself close to his goals, so he keeps pushing himself to his limits. He even adopted, "the weak shall not surpass me," as his nindo.

As a boy he was taught the history of his family and how they had arrived in the Kirigakure. He delighted in the stories of how supposedly great his ancestors were. His father wanted to take them in a different path other than a crude destructive one, but the other members of his family disagreed. After his father became ill when Devro was nine, Devro became even more distant from his intermediate family. His father decided to relinquish his status as the family patriarch which caused Devro to become angry and resent his father, even to this day.

After passing the chuunin exams at the age of fourteen, he had somewhat of a change of heart. Family had become somewhat of importance. He had neglected family ties for over a decade. The even that changed him was when his sister had inspired to become a ninja like him, which touched him emotionally. From that day forward, he promised himself that he would try and keep a close eye on his younger sibling and teach her his way of being a ninja.

The harsh world of being a ninja and misinterpretation of being a ninja in his father's eyes, had shaped him into becoming a brute. He and a few other members of his family had also taken the path to becoming ruthless and dark individuals. His father had regretted his teaching style, but it was too late for now trivial problems.

The personal separation from his family drove him to spending lots of time with the unaccepted individuals of the village. The ones that would make you think twice before walking down a street. Outside of training, he spent time manipulating people for food and goods. No one bothered to oppose him, due to his ties he had with people in the streets. Day after day, he seems like he has become more hungry for power. He views every training session as a means to to prove his own strength to himself.
