[Mission]Haruna woke up with a terrible headache. It felt like a war was going on in her cranium, and no one was winning. So she wandered over to the bathroom where she stepped into the shower, of course after having taken off her clothes. She didn't even really take a shower for the first ten minutes, just standing under the hot water, the steam causing the mirror and windows to fog up. The young pink haired kunoichi rubbed at her temples with strong force, trying to numb the pain, lasting only for a few seconds before returning stronger than before. She dried herself off and put on her usual training attire. Her team had a mission to do today and she couldn't wait to get started. Passing by Ryuza's room, she knocked on the door and told him it was time to get up in a gentle tone. It was always a gamble whether or not he'd wake up, and if he didn't, she'd simply return once more, bang on the door loudly and tell him that she was leaving which usually woke him. Also, when she made breakfast, she would be sure it was enough for them both. This morning, she made some chocolate chip pancakes which she cut into the shapes of shurikens. Upon finishing her breakfast, Haruna went by Ryuza's room once more, banging on the door, causing it to shake. She yelled at him to wake up or else they'll leave him behind on their mission. With that, she left the house and made her way over to the entrance to Sunagakure. She could already see her sensei, Keiji standing there waiting for them. All she could do was hope that he wouldn't get angry when she would inform him that Ryuza will be running late. Before being sure she was ready, she went through her packs, seeing that all her weapons and items were there. She then looked back at Keiji with a smile, excited to take on this mission. | 335 WORDS MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ |

It's almost morning. It's really dark. It's lonely. This one should be named as a historical moment in Keiji's life as it's the first time he ever got up from sleep really early in the morning. The streets of Sunagakure were pretty quiet and empty. The wind blowing trough Toshiro's jounin vest but this time he was no longer cold. He actually took time to change out of his pajamas and take a more professional look. He wore a black shirt under the vest and a pair of long jeans. His feet no longer bare, instead there was a pair of metal-plated ninja shoes. It was very unusual for him to be this energetic at this time of the hour, maybe the fact that it's his first mission with his team had something to do with it. Or maybe it's his last mission for the month and he wants to finish it as fast as he can.
The streets of Sunagakure at night can be really scary for new-comers or traveling merchants. Buildings that seem to be made of sand, buildings that are made of sun, each with it's unique form and size gathering near each other in a straight line on both sides of a street. It's the gate that's more impressive and the way out.The passage to travel into the valley is in a cleft between two cliff faces which provides a natural defence for the village making the area very hard to attack from the ground. The outside cliff face facing the desert has been terraced for a place for defending shinobi to stand up against assaulting forces. Shortly, it's a freaking sand-buried bunker.
As Keiji arrived at the chosen meeting spot, he spotted a chariot pulled by two horses with one man having control of the reins. Inside it there seemed to be a girl about his age or younger that continued to stare forward. The moment he got closer she turned her face towards him but her eyes were pointed randomly, only now the lack of color from them being obvious. She was the right person after all. The girl moved to get out of the chariot and Keiji swiftly opened the door for her and helped her out "Miss Tsubaki..." he said not bothering to bow or do any of that curtsy stuff, after all she wasn't able to see him anyway... but she did somehow. She picked up her dress with both of her fingers and bowed gracefully towards the jounin. "I greet you good sir, you're the ninja my father requested?". Keiji started to scratch with both of his arms, one on the back of his head and one going at it along his neck. The man at the reins was furious but said nothing. "I am Keiji and along with..." he looked at the way he came from and just as he did he saw Haruna arriving. "... Miss Haruna and her brother who was supposed to be here by now, will be your bodyguards for the day".
The girl showed no emotion and even though Keiji moved from his spot she knew his position and continued to glare at him. "Me and my father are very grateful for the help you're providing!" she said in a soft and respectful tone while bowing her head again with her hands crossed at her waist. The jounin started to feel bad now and stopped scratching , hearing the man that took care of the horses sigh."Don't worry miss, i promise you we'll get you back home safely" He took a look at the girl that just arrived and pointed his finger really close to her face "Where's your brother?"

To tell the truth the white-haired salamander had not been able to sleep for most of the night, when he fell asleep which was very early he was awaken by a dream and his pillow, blanket and bed were all drenched from the massive amount of sweat that he had produced. Ever since he was awoken by the dream he sat on his chair and read a book about a famous ninja that went by the name of Kawai, she was a prodigy of medical ninjutsu like his beloved sister and she proved her worth on the frontlines of the battlefield, ultimately leading her village to a great win in one of the Shinobi Wars. When it had reached around six in the morning his sister simply knocked on his door and requested him to wake up probably inferring that he was sleeping but the young shinobi simply ignored the request and continued to read about the intriguing biography of the ninja. It was not until his sister returned with a loud bang on the door and a terrifying request to wake up which forced him to jump out of fear from his chair and fall splat onto the ground. Usually Ryuza would get mad but he knew that she did that because she truly cared for him.
Ryuza did not feel like moving until he heard the word ‘mission’ echo in his mind which Haruna had talked about in her earlier request. Ryuza had totally forgot that he had a mission assigned for today’s date and he was also placed in a new squad with his sister, the man named Keiji he had gone on a mission with two weeks prior to the date and a vacant position. He jolted up from his current position on the floor and headed for the closet to get dressed. After undressing he quickly got into his casual shinobi attire.
Despite being a loud and flashy individual, Ryūza’s choice of attire was relatively simple. The most distinguishable part of his clothing is the hood he stitched on to his the back of his vest. The rest of his attire was symbolic of his warrior heritage. A black vest being the only cloth to cover his torso, the bulk of his chest is exposed revealing a toned physique. His pant legs were tucked nicely into his sandals, generating a billowing effect at his ankles while his arms were protected beneath steel forearm guards. A black sash usually spending a blade is always present while a thick wrap rests around his forehead as a headband. Sunagakure’s insignia was embroidered along such a headband in the form of a hitai-ate. Lastly, draped loosely, though affectionately around his neck, Ryūza donned a sallow white scarf.
If he were to walk around Sunagakure shirtless one could read his body like a well written fairytale which was packed with detail and was riddled with tales from his previous battles. Once he had finished dressing up he slammed his room’s door shut and jolted outside without eating anything at all. As always, Ryuza was late, whenever it came to a scheduled event of any sort his sense of direction and timing really didn’t come in handy. It must have been a trait passed down from one of his parents and he had noticed that his sister had a pretty bad sense of direction too. Her timing was pretty spot on though since she was always early compared to Ryuza.
Once he started getting closer to the assigned meeting point of the group he could almost feel the aura of his two new squadmates and he was almost sure this would be a good pair. From what he had been told by the Kazekage herself a royal lady from Kumogakure that went by the name of Tsubaki was requesting the help of shinobi from Sunagakure to aid her in her walk back home. They had to protect her with all their lives but Ryuza was not going to do that of course, he wasn’t going to die for a person that really didn’t mean anything to him but he did want to complete the mission.
It wasn’t long before his fellow squad-mates were in his line of vision and he decided he was going to make an awesome entrance by jumping off one of the village’s roofs and then rolling to the position but all did not go as planned. When he took off from the roof his foot got slightly stuck in a small hole and he lost his balance and went tumbling down into the stone beside Sunagakure’s gates and right beside his sister Haruna. Coughing, he quickly raised his hand and then shouted a few words.
“Present!”

When Haruna caught a glimpse of the young lady they were supposed to protect, she felt a pang of pity for her. Being blind was a heavy burden, but she knew that her other senses such as hearing were heightened due to this. So, if anything, Tsubaki would be able to notice an ambush. Haruna thought about this comically, but not teasingly. She curtsied in the presence of the girl even though she couldn't see, but her eyes seemed to move with the pink haired girl's movements which gave off an eerie vibe. She even felt a small shudder go through her body.
With a kind tone, she spoke to the blind girl, "You have nothing to worry about Miss Tsubaki. We will make sure you reach your destination in Kumogakure unscathed." Suddenly, Keiji questioned her on her brother's whereabouts. Before she could even answer, Ryūza tumbled to her side and simply presented himself. All Haruna could do was blink in shock for a moment, then look back at Tsubaki. Her father seemed to be anxious to return to continue his work, thus the young chuunin moved over to the blind girl and reached for her hand. Haruna was completely caught off-guard when Tsubaki pulled her hand back, indicating she didn't need to be babied.
Haruna walked back over towards Ryūza and Keji and silently whispered to them, "Did you see that? How did she know I was reaching for her hand?" The pink haired kunoichi shrugged it off and assured Tsubaki's father that he could leave, now that his daughter was in their care. With a frown of worry, the man retreated down the path he came, back to wherever he worked. "Umm, so Tsubaki, is anyone waiting for you in Kumogakure? Like your mother, or any siblings?" Haruna would ask, trying to get closer to the girl, maybe even bond as they're journey was too long to be filled with awkward silence. | 324 WORDS MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ |

Keiji sighed at the two siblings replying to Haruna's question "Maybe she can sense evil" he said as a joke, but not in the tone you would expect a joke to be told. There was no smile or emotion on his face, just the desire to go back to sleep. After this he walked over to the carriage and climbed on top of it laying on the back. "Let's go, you can have a pleasant conversation on the road, there's no reason to keep miss Tsubaki here.". Resting his head on his palms he slowly closed his eyes and tried to take a nap.
Soon after the pair on the ground would enter the carriage, they would be on the move. They left Sunagakure behind and managed to get as far as the desert, luckly for them the horses were already prepared for this, wet cloths covering most parts of their bodies including their heads with holes cut in them at the eyes. By this time Keiji would fall asleep unless somebody was addressing him or talking to him and he would start to snore loudly. "There's nobody waiting for me in Kumo, my mom died two years ago of a terrible illness. That's why i have to follow my father on most of his business trips" it was the girl speaking, no hint of sadness in her voice, as a matter of fact you couldn't make an impression out of her at all. She'd be mostly quiet unless somebody will address her and will be fairly tolerable to anything the ninjas would be doing, including noise, hand signs etc. The girl continued to stare down at the floor blankly , her palms crossing one another set on her lap.
Of course, getting out of the Suna desert without getting trouble would be impossible, hence the pack of bandits that stopped the carriage, scaring the horses as they jumped in front of them out from under the sand. They were expecting this. If he was sleeping Keiji would get up because of all the commotion all confused. "What is going on?..." staring at the bandits he'd say "Ah, just bandits, you two can take care of them" and then go back to sleep. It's not that he actually underastimated would a pack of simple bandits can do, even one of them could give him a killing blow in the right circumstances, it was just that he trusted his team well enough to be able to kick their asses without getting somebody hurt.

As he got back up he shook the dust from his back and noticed that his sister and Keiji were wearing the same attire that they always wore.
Her attire consisted of a darker colour compared to Ryuza’s attire. Haruna wore a black ribbon to keep her hair up. She also sported fishnet stockings that reach up to her lower thighs under black socks that went up to her knees. In addition to these, she had golden shin guards with black linings as well as black sandals. Moreover, she donned fishnet lace gloves that go up to her biceps which are, in turn, under black gloves with gold linings. Her main outfit however consisted of a somewhat traditional japanese dress. Finally, Haruna wore a simple, short, black scarf around her neck. Also, when she got to the correct age where she was able to make her own decisions by herself she obtained a tattoo of the number three signifying their difference in age. Haruna always thought that it was a bonding thing that showed her love and support for him but Ryuza could care less. He was never going to get a tattoo and if he did it would not be a stupid number showing one’s love for their sibling.
Keiji on the other hand was a whole different story.
This bitch was his assigned squad leader and Ryuza would trade him for anybody else, he had no apparent emotions on his face and looked as lazy as lazy could be. He had flowing white hair and he even had dark spots under his eye’s which signified his lack of sleep. This time he actually came prepared and wore his Jounin Vest but on their last mission it seemed like he wore pajamas and they marched their asses all the way to the dangerous land of Amegakure. He almost got assassinated in pajamas there, what a comforting way to die.
The lady who they were escorting seemed like a ghost, she could hear, smell and taste everything with way more effectiveness than the three could combined but when you had no eyesight at all it was probably an instinct for all of one’s other senses to be in tip-top form. It actually felt pretty nice walking through the desert for once, it wasn’t so hot and nor was it anywhere near cold but even if the temperature was great there was always a problem in this desert. Every single fucking time, once you stepped out of the gates you were never safe and this just proved that fact. Two bandits just hopped out from under the sand and they were starting up shit already, it was only a mile and conflict had already risen, sometimes Ryuza wished he had stayed in Konoha after the wild festival. It would not be so bad and he was pretty sure the shinobi of Konoha would accept him as a full-fledged shinobi, they really did need more strength in their ranks. While he was in his own realm of thoughts he hadn’t realized his enemy had gone rushing into battle, straight for Ryuza and when he shifted to the fabric of reality he was right in front of him and he landed a successful hit on Ryuza, making him fly face first into the sand. Now, you didn’t want to get Ryuza riled up and certainly not when he had full energy.
Performing a kickflip, he jolted back upwards and then performed a series of handseals, he then started to manipulate his katon chakra and focus it to his mouth, and he then let out a stream of fire towards his opponent, it all happened way too fast and he already knew that the man’s life had come to an end or he was seriously crippled. Dusting his hands off, he observed Haruna as she fought the other bandit.

Haruna could only wonder what was going on inside Keiji's head. How could someone be so serious all the time yet act so carefree. She quickly turned her attention back towards the young blind girl when Keiji moved towards their carriage. She entered it cautiously, never having actually been in a vehicle such as this before. For a split moment, she couldn't help but feel a little royal. However, the second she saw her brother, she recalled of their past and remembered she wasn't. Pushing the thought out of her head, she began trying to converse with Tsubaki who couldn't hold a conversation, answering with simple blunt words. At some point, the pink haired girl stopped trying to befriend the girl they are to protect and she moved her eyes to the landscape they were passing. She always wanted to visit other villages. See what it was like to roll around in the grass, or what it felt like to feel the rain on your skin. Maybe some day she'll be assigned to a mission that takes her there. Even the village they were heading to now had a rocky terrain. With these thoughts in mind, she gave a hard sigh of disappointment. Suddenly, there carriage was attacked by a group of bandits. Haruna could see Ryūza already on his feet, engaging one of the bandits. Haruna wiped the worry in her head away as she noticed the second enemy move towards the carriage. The young kunoichi exited and made a quick set of hand seals. Suddenly, she appeared behind the bandit in just a moment, sending her hands to the ground and her foot up to his back. She hit him with a good kick, making him fly up for a moment before he steadied himself when he landed. She ran towards her opponent with her kunai out, ready to strike, but was quickly deflected by his sword. He grabbed her by her hair and sent her face-first into the ground. Not down for even a moment, she rapidly returned to her previous stance and sped towards the bandit. Halfway to him, she threw her kunai towards him and made a second set of hand seals. A large blast of wind made its way down to Haruna's opponent who had easily deflected her kunai, which acted as a decoy to distract him, and was subsequently hit by the wind, sending him back. She made her way over to him just as he had stood back up, this time with an angry expression on his face. It seemed he had now taken the offensive and began slashing at her with his weapon. She was able to dodge the swipes with close shaves here and there until she was near her kunai once more, picking it up and using it to block his attacks. Haruna kept this up, waiting for the right moment to strike. She timed the pause between his attacks and was able to deduce when to counterattack. After one more slash, she sent a kick to his knee, the sound of a sickening crunch being heard, as he went down on it. She then made her third set of hand seals, sending a vortex of wind towards him, blasting him back once more, but this time, he would slam against the carriage, causing it to rock slightly, the force knocking him out. All Haruna could do afterward was breathe and relish in her victory. "Good job everyone!" said the jounin boy, giving them a thumbs up and sliding over for the window to look inside, the only thing that was keeping him from falling down on his head was his feet on the other side of the carriage "See Tsubaki-char, no need to worry, you're in good hands" Keiji tried to comfort her as he saw she was in a bad mood but nothing seemed to work. Giving up any attempt he pushed himself back on the top of the carriage but with no intention to sleep. The girl was too quiet and even with dead life-less eyes you could see some emotion in her, fear. Something was wrong here and Keiji will soon find out what.
After his two pupils got back in the carriage they continued their journey trough the desert. The rest of the trip was slow and painful, nothing really happened. They took a detour trough the Lands of Rivers and headed right for the Land of Fire, specifically Konohagakure in order to make a stop and take a good deserved rest, maybe eat something, get to know each other. Two ninjas from the leaf village stopped not ten meters away from the gates and asked for their business. Keiji was already prepared, showing them the necessary paperwork and such and they were allowed inside with not even a flinch, after all Suna and Konoha were allies, cooperation was... needed to say the least. "Oyyy, kiddos, any of you ever been to Konoha?" asked Keiji, staring from the window at the three people inside the carriage. "They have some really amazing stuff around here, we should take a moment and have fun while we're at it, right?". This wasn't a good idea technically but Keiji just wanted to find out more information about the girl. "Haruna, Ryuza, why don't you take miss Tsubaki to a nice little restaurant and treat her something sweet huh?" he kept that happy warm tone and face even if it was all a facade. I'm going to go with mister grumpy here for a drink.
And so he did, they left the carriage at a storing place and the group separated. There was something magical about Konoha at night, all the lights and friendly people walking around the streets, children playing with toys that he never seen back in Suna... that kind of made him jealous. "Soo... Mister Grumpyface, how long have you been in Tsubaki's service?" Keiji eyed him intently "Two weeks." "I bet it's hard for you, having to take care of a blind girl and such... Now i'm starting to wonder, why did we stop in Konoha instead just going straight for our destination?" The man noticed the boy was suspicious of him and grunted "The horses need some rest". Keiji let this go up until they arrived at the bar the man lead him to. Toshiro pushed over the pieces of cloth covering the entrance and with a smiley face and a fake smile he waved at all the criminals inside the room
"Ohayo!"

He really didn’t pay attention to Haruna’s fight, his attention was with something else and really the only thing that distracted him from the thoughts running around in his head was the large winds gusts that were produced by his sister. His sister’s battle with her opponent surely did take a longer time than Ryuza but he always thought he was better than her at fighting in his small brain. She surely was more intelligent, less arrogant and more loving than he was. The thing he was actually thinking about though was the fact of why all these hired bandits or assassins were after the royal lady Tsubaki. Did she do something to earn her a bad reputation around the lands of Kumogakure? He almost knew that they were going to have to encounter many more of these bandits on their trip to the Land of Clouds.
The trip to Konohagakure no Sato was pretty bland and not very lively, all one could hear was the footsteps of the horses partially silenced by the desert sand that was moving very slowly in the slight breeze and the sound of Ryuza’s very loud footsteps. Not much socializing was done during their trip, all Ryuza did was really play with his fingers and listen intently to any suspicions noises. When you were traveling in the desert of Sunagakure you always had to be cautious due to the fact it was home to many horrid creatures and lost missing nins, however, Ryuza was sure that Keiji and Haruna would do the cautious part of the mission. Once they had gotten to Konoha, he wasn’t very surprised since he had been here for the festival around two weeks ago. It had the same warm and welcoming aura surrounding it but he felt a bit weird since he knew he could have been being watched at anytime.
He simply ignored Keiji’s words except for the part where the salamander and Haruna were instructed to take Tsubaki to a restaurant of some royalty and as he heard that his stomach grumbled like thunder. He hadn’t eaten breakfast but he was alright, however, if Tsubaki wanted to go to a royal restaurant then let it be, what was the worst that could happen? Perhaps an underground fight club? As Keiji left with ‘Mr Grumpy’ to go take some shots, Ryuza simply took Tsubaki by the hand and escorted her through the gates of Konoha and into the heart.
Konoha was in full bloom, it was the middle of summer and Ryuza had dragged his ass all the way across the burning hot desert to the calm and collected village of Konoha. From the various signs and banners waving slowly in the summer breeze to the decorations and tender feeling of love radiating from every citizen. It was nothing akin to what Sunagakure was and looked way cooler to Ryuza, Sunagakure consisted of boring sand buildings and everyone was real covered up, even the women, but here everything was quite the opposite. A duo of young partners in crime ran past Ryuza and one of them bumped into his side which made her giggle as she chased her friend. Usually Ryuza hated when people bumped into him which was pretty awkward but since it was a kid and he didn't want to start anything in another village he held his katon to himself. As he saw all the joy in people's faces and the love that was being radiated from each person, he decided he would enjoy himself today, he would not quarrel with anybody nor would he get on anybody's nerves, that promise would certainly be broken soon. As he walked through the streets he started to feel awfully thirsty and opened his backpack, he then grabbed a bottle of water from it and devoured it within seconds. He threw the tiny bottle of water onto the ground and continued to walk forwards. As he walked he was also taking in his surroundings and studying the various architecture and styles of Konoha. Most of the houses were very spaced out and their locations were planned very carefully, the houses were made of wood with glass windows and a splash of colours painted all over them which was very different from the buildings in Sunagakure which were all in a cluster and made of sand which was easily penetrable. Ryuza would love to move to Konohagakure but he was so used to the Sunagakure lifestyle he didn’t want to abandon it.
It was minutes before he saw a very nice looking restaurant, it was at least a four and a half star, it had various decorations with very fancy windows and two bodyguards in the front. Usually they would have to pay to enter but as they saw Tsubaki they instantly recognized her and they let the trio in. All the salamander could think about was food and he really didn’t care about Haruna nor did he care about Tsubaki. He could see all the people enjoying their food and he instantly started running up to the counter where you had to order but he bumped into another bodyguard who was guarding a staircase to a basement of some sort.
“You wanna’ start something, shrimp?”
Ryuza instantly turned around and then got up into the man’s turf.
“Acting all big now? Down there, there’s tonnes of people stronger than you, don’t think about going down there though because you’re not even stronger than me.”
Smoke started to emit from his nostrils and with a quick wind up of his right hand he drove it into the bodyguard’s mouth, instantly knocking him out, he didn’t care about food, his testosterone levels were skyrocketing and now he could only think about fighting. The other bodyguard on the other side simply backed away in fear and let Ryuza run down the staircase.
[OOC: It’s an entrance to a fightclub and Keiji, the building you’re at also has a passage, we can eat after.]

Haruna was surprised when the carriage stopped in Konohagakure. It wasn't hot here. A soft, gentle breeze kept blowing now and then. Everyone was dressed so casually. The fashion in Sunagakure was very bland and made to prevent damage done to the body by the sun. The pink haired girl couldn't help but smile when she saw the greenery surrounding the village as well as all the colorful buildings. She looked around as a few citizens turned their heads towards their visitors. Haruna felt a little vulnerable in this foreign village. Even if they weren't enemies.
Walking along the streets of Konohagakure, Haruna would greet every passerby with a smile. Some would greet her back or simply look away and continue to go about their day. The pink haired girl kept her pace with Tsubaki at her side with a frozen expression. How could a young girl be so serious... so emotionless. She remembered a few years back, she was practically jumping off the walls and would talk to everyone, stranger and friend. Even now, all the blind girl did was look forward as they made their way to the nearest restaurant. However, it did take longer due to the fact it had to be fancy because of a certain little royal. Haruna rolled her eyes at the thought.
Upon reaching the fanciest eatery they could find, Ryūza already started something as usual. He disappeared after descending a flight of stairs, but Haruna didn't even bother to follow him, knowing him to be more than capable of handling himself. But she did curse him for leaving her with Tsubaki. They found a table quite fast which only made Haruna worry that things might be too expensive here. She was really caught by surprise when the girl in front of her finally spoke up on her own. She said she'd be paying for the meal, but before Haruna could even thank her, she went on to say that it was obvious that the young kunoichi did not have enough money anyways. This made Haruna clench her fist wanting to punch the smug out of blindie. | 354 WORDS MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ |
