Yuudai wiped his forehead of sweat, standing atop of old man Yazu's shed. His eye was on the target, or course, and he was trying to figure out just what to do to get the boar off of this old mans land. He couldn't kill it, he knew that much for sure. The old man had told him specifically not to kill the animal. That made it a little more difficult, sure, but Yuudai wasn't all for killing animals anyway. Maybe he'd also get lucky and the boar would be kinda nice and would move along without any issues. Pffft. Yeah. Like that would ever happen. He'd already done a run around of the perimeter, trying to find the best direction to run the animal toward to keep it from harming any more of the farmers carrot crop. However, Yuudai's hatred of carrots only served to make him care a little less. He knew that he wouldn't get paid as much if he didn't save at least most of the crop, though, so letting the boar continue on with his munching wasn't really much of an option. Running a hand back through his spiky pink hair, he crouched down slightly, trying to get a better look at the boar. The animal was large, Yuudai had to give it that. It was a dark brown color with large, black eyes and a tail that whipped from side to side every so often. The tusks on the animal curved out slightly from under its lips and a large mane of dark hair ran from the top of its head all the way down its back. It was big alright. Big and intimidating, but that wasn't going to stop him now. He had a job to do. Planning through his first move, Yuudai jumped down into the carrot field, running right at his target. He didn't stop either, sliding toward the boars legs on the ground, kicking his leg out with enough force to knock the boar off balance, "Konoha Reppū!" Yuudai slid back on his hands and knees, looking up as the boar was flipped onto its back. It squirmed and squealed loudly, but soon found it's footing, rolling onto it's full tummy, and looking defeated for a moment. However, just like a bull went nuts when they saw red, the boar went crazy as soon as it spotted what had so suddenly knocked it off balance. "Shit..." was the first thing that came out of Yuudai's mouth, but running should have been the first thing that he did. "Oh gooooodddd!" he screamed, jumping to his feet and running out of the gates of the old mans crops fields. The boar followed quickly behind, catching up to Yuudai and picking him up with its tusks, throwing him backwards onto the ground. Landing with a hard thud, Yuudai let out a cry of pain, forcing himself back to his feet, breathing heavily. "Damnit," he muttered, clutching his side. Gritting his teeth, he brought his gaze back up to where the boar stood, looking enraged and ready to charge once more. Only this time, there were two other, much smaller boars with him. Yuudai's expression faltered, a bead of sweat trailing down his face. "What did I do to deserve this?" he cried out, needing to think fast if he was going to turn the tide of this battle. Performing a few hand signs, "Katon: Hi Ken!" Yuudai then clenched his fists, fire forming around the both of them. "Looks like I get to make some roasted pig!" he yelled at the boars, though the mock intimidation really did nothing to sway them. "Oh come on..." Yuudai whined slightly, feeling a little deflated for a moment. Only a moment, though, because all three of the boars were suddenly running at him then. Letting out a battle cry, Yuudai charged as well, knocking one of the small boars with one of his flaming fists, sending it squealing away into the trees. The second smaller boar came at him then, and Yuudai's fist connected with his jaw, sending it running toward the forest as well. All that was left now was the big one. "Hehe, buddy. It's just you and me now, isn't it?" he noted with a grin, closing his eyes for a long moment. When he opened them again, brown eyes had turned green and his pupil was gone. Using his Shakugan would make this battle a little easier for him, giving him a bit of an upper hand. Staring at his fists, he watched as the flame increased in size, growing a little hotter. This would surely make the pigs skin sizzle at least a little bit. Launching himself forward, he aimed his fist at the boars face, just as it started to run toward him. Making contact, he grinned as his other fist suddenly grabbed the boars tusk, slipping down once more and performing another Konoha Reppu attack. This time the boar decided not to turn and fight back again, instead turning and fleeing into the trees, surely scared off fro the farm for good. Hopefully. Letting out a slow breath, Yuudai let the Hi Ken jutsu dissipate, and deactivated his Shakugan, blinking a little bit of blurriness from his eyes. How had that worn him out so much? Usually his stamina was enough to take on more animals and just that. He was getting too lazy again, and that meant he would have to train double time, now. Kicking at the dirt, he then turned around and ran back to the farm. He spent a few hours picking the rest of the carrots, keeping an eye out for the boar just in case it decided to return again. Luckily, it didn't, and Yuudai carried in four large buckets of carrots to the farmers house, setting them down in his kitchen. "There you go, Yazu-san. All of your carrots have been picked and the boar should stay off your land now," Yuudai noted in his usual cheery manner, shaking the old mans hand lightly when the old man gave Yuudai his reward before he turned and left the house. First, he would report to the Hokage's office that his mission was finished. Then he was going to go home and soak in a hot bath. He surely had quite a few bruises and his hands were a little tender from the flames. Luckily his eyes didn't hurt, though. That was always the worst pain after a mission. Wandering down the paths back toward the village, Yuudai spotted something large and dark in the forests. Turning, he put his fist up, "If that's you, you stupid pig, I'll fry you!" He was only met with what sounded like squealing and large hooves retreating in the opposite direction. Good. That meant he really had won. | ◀ MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |
