Standing at an even five feet and nine inches, Kazu would be considered slightly above average in height. Kazu's build could be described as athletic. His hair color is that of a silver/white fox. Though out of the ordinary, it suits him quite well. The hair is slightly long, though it does not tend to get in the way. It extends to about the middle of his neck in the back, and often appears unkempt in the front, long enough to cover his eyes.
In addition to his odd hair color, Kazu's eyes are just as out of the ordinary. They are an odd amber color. The amber eyes could be said to symbolize Kazu's deep passion for what he does.
Kazu does not smile often. He almost always appears as though he is deep within his own mind. Perhaps daydreaming, or just thinking to himself.

Nobody cares for Kirigakure and the residents within more than Kazu. He would lay down his very life to protect the village. More often than not, Kazu is incredibly kind and generous. He will assist the villagers and fellow comrades however possible. Kazu is the type of man who would much rather take on an S-rank mission himself than risk the lives of his fellow shinobi, but he does understand that he cannot leave the village as often as he'd like. Very rarely is Kazu seen without a smile on his face in public. Though he may always be seen smiling, it is rare that the smile is genuine. His smiles are used to mask his true intentions. His upbeat demeanor gives the villagers and shinobi of Kirigakure a sense of comfort. Kazu is incredibly easy to approach and talk to.
Kazu is incredibly smart. He is able to plan an entire strategy in seconds. In addition, it does not take Kazu long to learn new jutsu, or create jutsu of his own.
Reading a good book is one of Kazu's favorite ways to spend his down time. It helps keep the mind working and his imagination flowing. Kazu is also the type who enjoys a good intellectual conversation with another person, or even just simply socializing with his peers.
On a more personal note, Kazu has a bad tendency to bottle in any negative or conflicting emotions that he might feel. He will never talk about his personal life with anybody, and as such, not a lot is known about him. The only outlet for his negative emotions that stir about inside of him is battle. In a life or death battle, Kazu changes completely.
To Kazu, there should be no mercy in a battle to the death. As many shinobi are taught, any opening should be taken. Kazu takes this to a new level. If there is no opening, he will find a way to create one. Once created, Kazu will not stop until he is standing on top of the corpse of his opponent. This is where his nickname "The White Dragon" comes from.
Kazu is the type of man who is rarely satisfied, though he'll never show it. Once he becomes stronger, he seeks to surpass even that. Once he surpasses his own limits, he seeks to grow ever stronger. To Kazu, a shinobi has no limits and should strive to grow stronger every chance he can get.

Kazu grew up as an only child. No brothers or sisters. Just his kind and generous mother, and his cold and distant father. Kazu's mother was an instructor at the shinobi academy. Her role was to ensure that each student graduated with the skills necessary to become great shinobi one day. This role suited her well as she had an affinity for taking care of children. Kazu's mother loved her job. Kazu's father was never around. He was a high ranking member of the ANBU within Kirigakure. He was consistently on assignment for the Mizukage. Because of this, Kazu didn't get to see his father very often, and barely knew anything about him.
On Kazu's eleventh birthday, his mother found an odd, small little fox abandoned in a forest nearby. She brought it home, and Kazu instantly became attached. He helped take care of the little fox, and before Kazu knew it, they were best friends. Kazu gave her the name Korra, and ever since, they have been inseparable.
At the age of twelve, Kazu's mother fell ill with a rare and fatal illness. It was not something that could be treated, and as a result, she passed away. Her death hit Kazu hard, and many could tell. However, Kazu continued to push the pain down and hide it from the public as much as possible.
Four years had passed since Kazu's mother had died. At the age of sixteen, with the help of his father, Kazu was placed into the ranks of the ANBU Black Ops. He was one of the youngest shinobi in Kirigakure's history to ever become a member of ANBU.
Two years later, at the age of eighteen, Kazu's father had been killed in action. Though Kazu had not been given the chance to get to know his father very well, a darkness began to fester within him. Kazu only continued to suppress it all, utilizing it to destroy his targets and accomplish his goals.
At the age of Twenty-Two, Sekien Noda, the Fourth Mizukage, appointed Kazu as the Fifth Mizukage. With Kazu's skill and great intellect, nobody was opposed to this decision and in fact were in favor.
Three years later, Kazu still holds the position as the Fifth Mizukage. He continues to do everything in his power to ensure the peace of Kirigakure, and that the villagers all feel comfortable living within Kirigakure. Kazu still cares for his only best friend in the world, Korra.
