A clan feared not for the simple fact that they hold a Kekkei Genkai with great power, but for the taboo topic of what resource is used. Mizuhada [水肌] Its symbols reading Water and Flesh, a very fitting name for the Kekkei Genkai that has cursed the way the outside world views the clan. The Clan's history long out dates any records known to the Sunagakure, and even an estimated date of establishment is unknown. While they are a small-knit clan filled with Shinobi and Kunoichi, they rely on peace for their survival. It is because they are so small that in times of war, their Clan is so close. Because their Kekkei Genkai is so unique, they are skeptical of others and usually keep to themselves.

The Clan resides at the far side of Sunagakure no Sato where the village border meets a vast wasteland void of life and water. Desolate in its own way, the clan prefers their solitude. Being left alone is what has kept them alive for so long. Their loyalty was not always with Kaze no Kuni. The Mizuhada Clan was once loyal to the Land of Water. However, during war they were called upon to do tasks that outfit them. It was found that the Mizukage at the time was putting them in the front lines in an attempt to wipe out the Mizuhada Clan. He was a paranoid Kage, fearing that their strength and, at the time, numbers, would overrule him. In truth, the Mizuhada Clan had no plans or mentions of a coup d'é·tat. Despite tireless efforts to convince him otherwise, a majority of the Clan was wiped out in an attempt to protect the place they called home. However, after the war was over, the Mizuhada Clan disappeared. They left no trace in the Land of Water. They migrated to Sunagakure no Sato, an ally to the Mizu no Kuni at the time of the war. They were accepted with open arms and made their way to peace and prosperity. However now that they were so little in number, the Mizuhada Clan proposed to the current Kazekage that they would only help in war at times of great distress in order to repopulate their Clan to extinguish all possibilities of the extinction of their Clan.

The first incident of The Blood Lust that occurred after the resettlement in Sunagakure no Sato was not long after their arrival. A father who lost everything in the war starting showing the symptoms of the raging lust that took over a select few males in the Clan's history. The leader of the Clan, the one who held the Divine Transfusion Kekkei Genkai was forced to use his own powers against another clan member. It was the first time in centuries that the Divine Transfusion had had to be used, and because of this he felt great regret and shame. Sickness overcame him, and a the Spirit of the Divine Transfusion was passed on to its new heir, Mizuhada Ai. A powerful women in her own right, she would now lead the Clan to peace and prosperity.

Description: Utilizing their Kekkei Genkai, Yuketsu, a controlled amount of blood is leaked out of the user's body, creating a veil around all or a portion that the user wishes to protect. Chakra is infused with the plasma that is leaked out and forces it to condense around the affected portion of the body. This is used as a defensive layer against enemy attacks. Once the jutsu is deactivated, the blood can then be recirculated back into the body.

Description: Utilizing their Kekkei Genkai, Yuketsu, the user is able to either increase or decrease their body's production of blood. The heart rate of the user can also be increased or decreased in order to steady the flow of blood throughout their body to the desired amount. While normally used to either clot or unclot the blood in mid-battle, this technique is also commonly used to resupply the user with blood outside of battle. Because the process is still slow, this jutsu is not used in the middle of battle.
Additional Information: 5% of the user's blood is replenished every post in battle, 10% every post while stationary. Open wounds clot within one post of use.

Once the jutsu is deactivated, the blood can then be recirculated back into the body

Description: Utilizing their Kekkei Genkai, Yuketsu, the user forces the blood in or out of their eyes. Depending on the amount of change in the blood flow, the user can receive their desired effect. With increased blood flow, the pupils dilate, allowing the user to see more clearly in the dark. With decreased blood flow, the user is able to see farther. With practice the user can even alter the blood flow in the case of a flash bomb to stabilize their eyesight in mid-battle.
