appearance

Hayate is a tall man with blue hair that usually is done with bangs over his face. He is 6 foot 1, and weighs 170 pounds. He wears black garments, with a black belt around his waist with a diamond shaped buckle, as well as a black jacket that covers his shoulders. When Hayate walks, he wraps himself up with the jacket, as well as buttoning the one central button that it has, except when in hot weather. He also wears black gloves and boots.

Shaped in an "hourglass figure" his body is skinny, but contains tough, ripped muscles that provide strength, but their lack of weight allow him to move faster. His muscles are firm enough to match with his weight, and his jacket helps to cover them. His dark blue hair also is able to move with the wind, not requiring any form of combing. Hayate's shoes are dark blue to match his hair, and his glowing crimson red eyes make enemies fearful as they appear to stare into their hearts. They intimidate enemies, and his double jointed body, due to lack of large muscle, allow for him to move his hands quickly as well as dodge attacks using his fluctuant body. He also wears a necklace resembling a cross, and a larger one on top of it with sharp ends of the cross. His jacket has unzip-able jacket sleeves as well as a large collar.

personality

Hayate is extremely nice, but cold-blooded. Since his childhood, he has proven himself a ruthless killer when needed, merciless like most ninjas. He began to exhibit changes at the age of 8; rather than killing animals or insects as he promised in his journal, he began to hit on the girls in his village. Throughout the first half of his training, whenever he defeated someone, he tried to find a girl to celebrate with him. His only sign of absolute agressiveness is when he let he attempted to brutally kill his classmate at the academy, taking delight at the notion of his comrade being weaker than him as punishment enough. After his defeat at the hands of his teacher, Hayate tearfully explains to his friends that some unknown force caused him to act ruthless and that he never had the chance to be anything else (implying that he could have been kinder and more merciful). From then on, he softened up and occasionally showed compassion to his teammates. In addition, he traveled to a waterfall to meditate to start a new life. He swore that he would only kill a ninja if they ever stood in his way or his teammates way, with no feelings and pure ruthlessness unless they prove their worth.

Hayate is a nice and his sole purpose of existence is to hone his fighting skills and someday settle with a beautiful woman. He often displays a few signs of pervertedness, aside from occasional stares, and almost peaks. He takes his training very seriously, and deals with those who dare interrupt him, as shown in his battle against his teammates. In combat, Hayate always resorts to his natural strength since he is yet to find an opponent who will truly push him to the full extent of his powers.

Hayate is presented as an extremely smug, perverted, egotistical, sarcastic, fiercely independent and immature teen who believes that he's the strongest above all else. He is very prideful and thinks very highly of himself, labeling everyone else around him as people of unknown powers. He has always been shown to hold a rivalry with his friends, but aside from them, Hayate happens to have sympathy for everyone besides villains, since he feels are scum standing in the way of his goal to become the strongest and raise a family. Hayate looks down on them, believing himself to be superior to them in every way, shape, and form. However, a notable aspect of his personality he shows in battle was that he seemed to have some degree of respect for enemies, since they created a challenge for him. Although it is hardly noticable, his only known family was murdered in front of his eyes, and he never spoke of it while living his life as a unique and independent individual.

Hayate is very intelligent, though his sometimes lackadaisical habits and "Pretty Boy" appearance masks his great powers of deduction and many question his abilities upon viewing him. He tends to second-guess everything he is presented with, and is extremely meticulous and analytical. He is good at deceiving his opponents, and is willing to take drastic measures to solve a case. He can seem quite rude and uncaring at times. Hayate is usually very mature and precise in his ways. He is perfectly fine with other people making their own decisions, even if he disagrees with their choices. However, there are times when just a miscalculation can greatly affect his usual calm self and cause him to become quite childish.

Hayate is usually funny especially around friends, but even in battle he may display sarcasm or some occasional jokes. He enjoys lots of fun activities like cosplay and card games. He can take and give a compliment or joke any time, and knows when a game has gone too far. During battles he becomes an intellectual and serious fighter(unless it is a joking fight), in which his true detective-like intelligence is depicted. Hayate's great powers of deduction is often shadowed by his sometimes funny and unintelligent behavior that he sometimes portrays. This is great for deceiving opponents, and this can lead him to become rude or uncaring at times. This makes him ideal for dangerous missions that cannot be led by reluctant and caring souls. When the time is right, Hayate is willing to become a soulless demon who needs to get the job done.

Likes:

Ryo: Hayate always likes to have money in his pocket, and especially will enjoy having more money than he needs. He goes on missions sometimes for the sole means of Ryo.

Fighting: Hayate enjoys the thrill of exchanging fists with his enemies. His Father always told him "The best way for women to talk is through words, the best way for men to talk is through fists.". He feels that he can treat others as equals after having fought them in a battle. He will only ask for a battle after carefully assessing an enemy.

Power: As demonstrated through social expectations, Hayate was lead to believe that a man's value was only demonstrated through their power and wealth. Ever since he first became a ninja, his main goal has been and is to become an extraordinarily powerful warrior. Hayate will be willing to break his back day in and day out to become powerful. He loves the feeling of high value.

Fire: Being his natural first element, Hayate developed a strong liking towards fire, which is why he spent a large amount of time training it in school. Also, since ninjutsu is his primary he liked the freedom fire allowed him to be able to use with his jutsu. Fire is his tool of destruction as well as the reason he dislikes water that is its immediate weakness.

Dislikes:

Losing: Hayate's ability to challenge and defeat enemies is his fuel, and losing makes him feel like that drive has failed. This just makes him want to fight more, but it disappoints him and makes him thrive to come back and beat that person. Hayate hates the feeling like a mission has failed.

Villains: Hayate believes that villains are the scum of the Earth, and whenever he witnesses one, he finds it his duty to try and dispose of him. The very sight of a villainy can induce anger flowing through his body, so he will often try and destroy any villain he finds.

People who hurt his friends: Hayate's criteria for a good friend is very strict, therefore any friend he makes will be close to him. This means anyone who try to hurt him are automatically categorized as scum to him, and he will be willing to take them down. He tends to like to build good relationships with those around him as well.

biography

Hayate was born in a small house in Kumogakure. When he was born his parents lived with him in a house at the end of the village. When he was born his father was a novelist. His mother was a medical ninja who retired after healing on several different medical teams. His father read to Hayate every night when he went to sleep. Hayate was fascinated by the art of writing and fighting. Hayate did not know that he had ninja potential at this time, but enjoyed spectating while other ninja fought and demonstrated their skill in Chunin exams. Every day he would go and watch the weather outside and write in his book while imagining himself with an awakened kekkai genkai. Hayate wrote a story every day about what took place during his weather watching. When he was four he entered his room one day to analyze his information. His father and mother both were taped against his wall, and a man with a sword asked where his ninja scrolls were. Hayate fell to the floor crying, and watched as the man continued to ask him while cutting off his parents limbs until their head was removed. The burglar looked around for Hayate, who was hiding, and made away with the items he had found, only to be captured by some Chunin who happened to be passing by his house. His father and mother's money and items were passed down to him. Before they passed away he promised to them he would make a story all about his life.

Hayate never said a single word about what happened to his parents, but continued to sustain himself and survive alone. One day two ninja watched him crying by himself in front of his house, and recommended to him that he should join the academy to become stronger and make friends. He began to depict his intelligence and strength against other students. He fought and passed test for the sake of his parents that he loved. Hayate realized his ability and continued to excel in school. When he turned 10, his puberty hit, and he began to try and attract the girl in his class, as well as stare at them in otherwise perverted ways.

When Hayate was 11 he graduated from the academy and became a genin to realize his potential. He was able to fight using his intelligence to maneuver and make it through the exams. He used his ability only to protect the people he cared about. He went on learning how to manipulate fire that his teachers taught him to use. One day Hayate bought a lightning rod from an interesting shopper. He learned to manipulate the lightning in the sky using the lightning rod, and practice minor lightning jutsu. Hayate continued to live his normal life, and joined the company of other people to help him reach his goal of becoming and S-class ninja. Hayate focuses on the goals in his life and continues to someday find a worthy rival partner to join him and live with for the rest of his unknown life.

When Hayate turned twelve, he went a C rank mission along with the two others in his team. They all were escorted to a open canyon and left to fend for themselves. Their leader believed that they were more powerful then Chunin and wanted to test their true potential. Hayate and his group found food, sticks, and leaves to build their camp and survive until they came to retrieve him. After the first three days went fine, he spotted the target indicated on the mission. Hayate beat the boy up and took all of his tools, leaving him to float away in a river, barely noticing it was a transformation jutsu. The next day he was put under and intense genjutsu along with his teammates, by which they saw their friends and family being sawed, tortured, and burned to pieces. After releasing his anger and remembering that what he saw actually happened, he broke out of the genjutsu and obtained a new burst of drive and energy. After that he became a upper-class genin and went on his first B-rank mission. While walking to the client, he was approached by two Chunin who instantly asked for all his belongings instantly. Due to his cocky attitude, he assaulted them recklessly and could not lay a single punch or kick on them. They used a dual water dragon jutsu • on him, knocking him straight into the rough ground. While struggling to get up his last chakra ball was fit into his mouth, allowing him to stand up and land a small amount of punches on the chunin. A Jounin arrived and assisted him, after they knocked him unconscious. When Hayate regained consciousness he watched as fingers closed in on his eyes his brutal defeat almost killed him. When they finished conducting their operation surviving near death, they let him walk away. As Hayate walked a way he tried to use his sensory skills to see the way, but it did not work. Then he realized that the operation deprived him of some of his vision.

After being close to collapsing in the middle of the road, he was picked up by some Kumogakure ninja. He was given glasses, and offered a chance to enter the Chunin exams. It was a great opportunity to perfect his natural fire chakra nature and make new friends in this new home. After the medics healed him and they discussed with the hokage and council about his privilege to participate he was established as a participant ready to fight. The medics checked him before the battle, and after his first battle he awakened his kekkai genkai the analytical eye. Barely struggling to fight until the final round, Hayate became a chunin, and was put on a new team to go on missions with.

A few years later he turned fourteen, and joined the advanced team four unit as a chunin. He began to wear shady glasses to support his impaired vision as he adjusted to his kekkai genkai. The unit quickly became friends with him as he helped them fight against crime units. He learned the way that many different villages fight, and how they can manipulate their kekkai genkais. He used his natural taijutsu talents to learn how to evade attacks of all different types while traveling all around the villages.

At the age of sixteen, Hayate fell in love with a woman known as Miki, but she was killed on a mission weeks after they considered settling down as a family. This changed him emotionally, as he may never love a person as much as he loved her until his heart is healed. When Hayate turned seventeen, he became a veteran of the combat unit, and decided to go on one more mission with them for memory. They traveled to Iwagakure, where they fought a military commander for a widely famous crime organization. He used multiple lightning techniques that clashed with Hayate's attacks. The military leader landed a deadly hit on Hayate that knocked him straight to the ground. While Hayate slowly got up, his anger increased and he unleashed his raiton to attack the commander. The commander then used a raiton attack that wiped out Hayate and his whole team, however he was the only survivor despite the fact that they could not find his body. He spent the next two years trying to find his way back with nothing but broken glasses and a kunai.

He was rescued by a tall green eyed man that brought him back to his home that was beautiful surrounded by grassy land. The man asked for his name, where he came from, and other usual questions given by interrogators. After giving him the answers to his questions, Hayate became afraid that he might hold him for ransom against his village. The man noticed his injuries and his visual impairment watching it in an intensely inquisitive way. The man then asked Hayate if he wanted to cure his injuries. Hayate, noticing that he had no other choice, accepted and questioned the man on what procedure would take place. The man began to glow, and formed 20 or more handseals each emitting a different colored glow. When the man finished he struck Hayate with his medical jutsu, and gave him his vision back. He felt something tingling on his back, and little did he know that it was the curse mark seal that had not yet been awakened.

He trained to become better, his ninjutsu and taijutsu became easier to use, and his reaction time to incoming attacks became faster. As his anbu black ops noticed his improving skill, he was promoted to jounin.

His days now consist mainly of training day in and day out for him so that he could maintains his title, and never have to depend on someone else to save him again. The next step was to become the raikage, of his village, but until the job opens he will have to remain a jounin, and see what he will encounter on his journey.
