biography It all began on that night, the night when a baby boy was brought into the world. The boy’s parents, Gouman and Amatsu, struggled through the night to wait for their son’s arrival. However, when the boy first arrived, two unprecedented events occurred that would shake the foundations for the Tsubasa Clan. The first was the mother, Amatsu, she coughing up blood and bleeding relentlessly as if something destroyed her from the inside. The second was the baby boy, the child was leaking so much Chakra to the visible eye; it was completely unheard for a new born at birth. Chaos ensued, for the doctors who were nursing and for the father watching onward in shock. Before long, among the panicked white noise, one voice spoke through to Gouman’s ears and it belonged to his dying wife, Amatsu. Save Jiyuu... Snapping Gouman back to reality, he pushed one of the doctors trying to treat the infant boy. Then he engraved a complicated twelve layer seal over the tiny boy’s heart. Once the seal fully cast, the mother died with a peaceful smile on her face; she was almost at complete peace, knowing her son was in good hands. Thus it came to be, one life was saved at a cost of another. As Gouman looked down at the child, where joy should be found on face. However, he looked at the child with distain, almost pitting him. Time pressed for the tiny boy Jiyuu, his upbringing was somewhat pleasant with a father and an older brother to call a close family. But he can’t seem shake of the feeling that half of the Clan shuns him and other vaguely accepts almost a little too much. There was always one place he could really escape them and his annoying older brother, and the Grand Library. He would spend hour and hours, reading fiction about heroes and villains, wishing he too can be one of the heroes. His anticipation climbed to become a hero rose even higher on the first day Jiyuu went to the academy. A bright big smile from ear to ear, all ready undertake his first adventure outside of the Clan compound and into the academy. At first he made some acquaintances and did really well for the written test, but then came along the first taijutsu test. In the test, Jiyuu did really well fighting in his first spar, but it was almost too well. You see, when Jiyuu first fought the young boy the examiner said don’t hold back and well, Jiyuu didn't; the other young was beaten bloody after the first couple of blows. The other children were in shock, screaming and the examiner look at Jiyuu with horror. When Jiyuu realized what happened, he screamed at the top of his lungs in freight. The one thing Jiyuu has never known about to this very day, was that he was smiling when the blood smeared on his face. Since that day, he earned the nickname, “Monster,” in the academy. With no friends to call his own, he trained mercilessly day by day on his own. Whenever he was picked to spar against someone in taijutsu, most kids surrender or back while others what to provoke to see Jiyuu’s strength was true. In latter cases, Jiyuu does try his best to warn them to surrender or try to. He’s also been on constant supervision in trying to control his strength, which is always been a deep struggle for him. For Jiyuu, it’s dealing with a water faucet overflowing that he can’t control. It’s even worse for Jiyuu in Chakra, for the longest time he can’t even master the most basic of jutsu to work for him. A disadvantage most parents hoped for Jiyuu, because they don’t want a rampaging weapon to protect their home let alone letting their children near him. Almost discriminated at every turn, Jiyuu was frustrated and hurt he wanted to just give up. But both his father and his older brother intervened on separate occasions to help Jiyuu move forward. With his father, he gave Jiyuu a keepsake from his mother telling him that even if he’s all alone on the outside, he’ll never be in his heart. And his brother, he told Jiyuu isn't about what others think, it’s about how you as person think and that’s how you change your world. Carrying those gifts in his heart, pressed through the years in the academy. Even if people were against him, he thought that shouldn't stop him trying to people. So, in his extra-circular activities, he decided to help random strangers in minor things from carrying groceries to even fending some bullies. It helped feel good about himself, like he was making a difference somehow to someone’s life instead of being feared. Day by day, he trained and doing his best to control his Chakra until the day it was time for Jiyuu to graduate. It took the young man, six different times to complete the final exams for the academy. But at the age of fourteen, Jiyuu is finally inducted to be a Genin. The biggest hurdle above everything was controlling his Chakra, which almost like a pipe dream in mastering the simplest of jutsu. Everything was going good until he hit a snag, there wasn't any squads suited for him. They told him, he was one of the few out of five-hundred to be placed on stand-by like this. However, they told Jiyuu it would at least take a year for him to be drafted into a squad. A year came and went, and still no word on Jiyuu getting a squad. Yet in the meantime, he kept himself busy in self-training and helping out anyone he can; he even managed to learn what his own element is. The element discovered is, Wind, and that was basically the only highpoint of that year; there’s just no way was he going to master a new jutsu so soon. But with a highpoint, there is a lowpoint and that’s when his older brother was charged with attempted murder on the Hokage and the murder of his fellow Clansmen. It honestly angered him that his own brother, his family, would betray his home. On that day, he resolved himself on bringing his brother to justice and to find out the truth. Finally a year more later, he’s got the chance to enter a squad and trained even more to boot. The time he spent with his squad was almost a blur to him, filled with both good memories and bad. He wasn't going to ever forget these experiences, as it brought a sense of humanity and peace. But in far corners of his mind, during the bonds he made and rigorous training, his goal in finding justice remained still. This resolve soared him through mission after mission and eventually soared through the Chuunin Exams after a year and six months; at the age of seventeen. His defining moments was during his first two year reign as a Chuunin. At first, it seemed he was going to be in reconnaissances and mail delivery missions for a good time. Yet, it was when he did his hobby of sniffing around for brother that got him into some trouble. Getting involved in the underworld, cracking down on bounty missions if any were posted, and gaining a serious reputation on brutality, earned Jiyuu the nickname of Red Devil in the bingo book. In the pursuit for the truth, Jiyuu is struggling to keep himself the same person, yet slowly losing myself in the process; becoming someone, or rather something, he's not. Willingly knowing of what he's becoming, he distanced himself from people more than before; Jiyuu realized he's becoming what he's afraid of. All he can tell himself is that this will all be over once his quest is done. However once it is done, what's to say he won't want to have another target? | ooc info ☆ NAME Ji ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS n/a ☆ FACE CLAIM Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki, tsubasa jiyuu THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO JI.
