Mission Name: Nightmare's Awakening: A Plan Set in Motion

Suggested Shinobi: Any (Teams of two or more are preferred, but not necessary)

OOC Information:
The information gathered should be relatively vague. Are the shinobi turning up well known, or is there no pattern? Is it man, or monster? Is there more than one culprit?
Murakami is just now making an appearance in the world. He comes from a village that was destroyed in the war, and every single occupant is thought to be dead. Nobody knows who he is, or that he is from Yukigakure. There is no information regarding him directly floating around, however, it is possible that a witness may have seen him from afar.
The plan is to have Murakami become active in the RP. To do this, I want to have him drop into one of the threads that involve this mission. If you are interested in helping further the plot, send Kurayami a message. If multiple people are interested, I will choose one thread at random to drop into, so be prepared! Upon dropping in, Murakami will probably engage anybody involved in the thread. It will just be a short encounter to display his techniques for information gathering purposes. Unlike the nameless shinobi mentioned in the mission, your characters are probably stronger willed, and will ultimately come out of it unharmed, unless of course you have other plans for your character. In which case, include any of those plans in the PM sent to me.

Something weird is happening all over. Bodies of shinobi who have been missing for weeks are turning up all over. These shinobi range from all villages and all ranks. The bodies are not simply being found in random places, either. They're found hanging from trees, or pinned to posts. It is as though somebody is trying to send a message. In addition, it seems that a few shinobi who had gone missing are returning to their respective villages. Not many, but a few. Though, nobody is sure if they are surviving the encounters, or being allowed to return. The problem is, information cannot be gathered from them. Their minds are destroyed, and it is impossible to speak to them.
The mission is to find out what is happening. Why are these shinobi turning up dead, or mindless? Gather whatever information that is possible.
Objective: Gather information regarding the shinobi that are turning up dead or with their minds destroyed.
Payout: 400 ryo
Additional Rewards: An addition 400 ryo to those involved in the thread that Murakami drops into, as they will be bringing back the most useful information
