Oshino primarily wears a broad set of clothing. He often wears maroon, black, white and gray. He likes wearing kimonos, but out on the field he typically finds himself in his Chuunin jacket, as well as a black short sleeve, with maroon pants and a white pair of sandals. But that's just a basic, un-planned outfit. When he does plan his outfit, Oshino typically wears a black coat with his sleeves rolled up to the center of his wrists with a short collar, and open. Beneath the coat he wears a fishnet shirt. The rest of his outfit is typically adorned by a pair of orange pants or black pants. He wears black sandals with that, regardless of what color pants he's wearing.
Oshino's hair can be defined as "emo". His hair covers the left side of his face, but still exposes the beauty mark located near his lip. His eyes are narrow, but not to the extent that they're passively half-lidded, that's just a habit that he's grown accustomed to. Oshino's hair typically reaches a few centimeters below the nape of his neck, and it seems as though he has no bangs. Sometimes he wears a hair pin for the sake of navigating better with two eyes visible, but otherwise he looks like an emo. Under normal circumstances, his mouth is that of a flat line, but sometimes even the corners of that line curve.
Oshino often wears a black mask that conceals his nose and mouth, and a skin-tight sleeveless turtleneck with it. As he likes wearing his mask, this set of clothing often turns into an outfit consisting of crisp black cargo shorts with a beige backpouch on the back, as well as gray boots and a pair of skin-tight leather gloves. Typically this is topped off by a milky white jacket and/or a dark blue scarf.
The male typically adorns himself with a purple sash wrapped around his head, which mats down his hair, as well as a tattered, pale beige robe. Three necklaces produced by melted down gold and silver are typically around his neck. One necklace has a ruby gemstone on it, the next has a jade gemstone, and the last has a sapphire gemstone. |
Oshino often wears a lazy expression on his face. This expression often matches his laidback body language and/or personality. He conceals his fears of losing things important to him with this laid back attitude. Oshino is often very hidden with his feelings. He puts on half-hearted smiles on the daily to make sure others do not worry about him. The only people aware of the way he feels are his family members.
Oshino is a big fan of romantic light novels, as well as festivities, and sweet foods. He prefers to spend a day relaxing beneath the kotatsu and reading a book as opposed to doing more adventurous things that most people prefer. He does not like sharing his true emotions with people, nor does he like thinking up good excuses, which often is the reason why he makes bad excuses for his frequented tardiness. |
Oshino was born under the prosperous and often recognizable Otsuki family. His mother worked as an international baker who made fortunes off of her homemade cooking. His father worked as a well known associate with the Police department of Konohagakure no Sato. It was not until an infamous event that involved the coup d'etat of the Police Force that the Otsuki family was forced to live in hiding, and travel to somewhere safer. The problem with this idea was that Oshino had already made plenty of friends at the playground they lived near, but his parents disregarded that.
Oshino's enthusiasm for the simpler things in life plumeted by the time he left the village. He had to put up with watching his father get eaten by a pack of dogs, then his mother taken away from him to be sold into slavery in Kumogakure. A particular group of Sunagakure shinobi were the only people to save him from this misery. He was taken in to regain his sanity, and lived with a relatively decent family. It was not until the age of eleven(11) that he regained his mental bearings and entered the Academy.
The boy worked at a below average ratio, yet still managed to gain relatively good grades. He graduated as an average joe in Sunagakure, and trained more throughout his life. After gaining relative mastery of the Water element he set out to learn more elements, but ran out of time when the Chuunin Exams were announced, half a decade after he graduated from the Academy.
He flowed through the Chuunin Examinations with minimal effort. Oshino held no remorse for anything, and how could he after he lost his family at such a young age? He heard rumors that some of his family members were still alive but he did not believe a single speck of them. After killing every last competitor in the Chuunin Examinations he qualified as a Chuunin and was thus promoted, essentially due to the fact that he possessed not only great hand to hand combat capabilities, a good understanding of taijutsu and ease with knowing illusion from truth, but because he was great at strategy, the main thing that was important to becoming a Chuunin.
He created his own team solely for doing missions. The team itself consisted of one sensor, a genjutsu specialist, a scout and a medical ninja. The great balance throughout the team was recognized, as he easily completed high-ranking C and B-Rank missions. By the age of 18 he had become a very well-known individual throughout Sunagakure, and had started being refered to as "The Jack of Sunagakure" thanks to his lack of major specialization. Through his frequent mission completion he was eventually promoted to Jounin. | ooc info
