So for anyone familiar with the Ideas to Boost Activity thread you'll know that the staff and members have been brainstorming some ideas to bring Elysium up to a higher standard in terms of plot and site structure in general. We've officially decided on redoing many elements of the site and are working on many of these changes now. We will be shutting down the site for maintenance on June 30th and we expect the changes to the site should take no more than two weeks. Our official re-reopening will be no later than July 14th.
I also wanted to give any of you the chance to help out with our revamp. If you're interested in contributing as a member of staff to the new site or would simply like to be able to give input on new systems as well as our remade plot and site elements please let me know by posting here or sending me a PM. I will make sure that everyone who wants to be a part of these changes has access to the site while we're in maintenance mode and access to the cbox will be open the whole time we're down as well in case I missed you.
Because we will be effectively changing many IC aspects to the role play this puts anyone currently posting in a state of limbo right now. We will not be resetting ryo or posts however so if you wish to continue role playing as you are now that is completely fine. You will also be permitted to directly carry over your character from this iteration of Elysium to the next, even if there are plot discrepancies within your history. All these issues will be addressed over time so don't worry about having to redo anything right now if you don't want to. For those of you looking for a fresh start, you'll also be permitted to remake your character or create a completely new one while still retaining any posts and ryo you had on your old character as well.
