History:
The Ishiyama clan have been in existence for roughly 200 years now. They are a clan that values life as a whole, and power to protect that life. For 200 years, the Ishiyama clan have remained one of the most powerful and influential clans in Seikatsu no Kuni, and possibly even the World. They are a clan that cherishes the lives of all living things on the planet, and believe that everything exists to fulfill a purpose. The Ishiyama clan, in addition to their value of life, believe that strength is important in order to survive, whether it be for self protection, or the protection of those that cannot defend themselves. The Ishiyama are constantly looking to grow stronger for that reason. Each and every member of the Ishiyama clan are trained as warriors, from the day of their first birthday, to the day they die. A member of the Ishiyama clan can never have enough strength.
The Ishiyama have gone through many leaders in the past, most of which held the same values as the rest of the clan. Life and power. One leader in particular held slightly different ideals. Seiji Ishiyama was a man who, like the rest of the Ishiyama, valued life and power. Only, he had a slightly skewed vision based on these ideals. Seiji always believed that survival came first and foremost, and the only way to survive was to destroy any potential threats. 150 years ago, Seiji's father, the man who founded the Ishiyama clan, passed away due to illness. Seiji became their new leader. Taking advantage of his new position, Seiji fought for his own ideals, using the clan as his means to accomplish just that. For years, the Ishiyama clan killed any who stood in Seiji's way. Many clans could not stand up to the power of the Ishiyama clan, and fell before them. Seiji had proven himself to be among the strongest members of the clan in the past, and because of this, any members of the Ishiyama who didn't believe in his ideals were either forced to do his bidding, or were killed if they refused. The Ishiyama clan had instilled fear into the hearts of many in such a short period of time.
Seiji ruled over the Ishiyama for 20 years. He took a clan of great strength, and multiplied their power. The Ishiyama had never been stronger. Seiji's power had gone to his head, and he believed that there was nobody who could possibly stand in his way. That was until a man, by the name of Osamu, decided to fight back and reclaim the Ishiyama, giving them back their purpose. Osamu was born the year that Seiji had taken over. Osamu kept relatively quiet throughout Seiji's rule, ensuring not to stir anything up. Osamu was am an of great kindness and generosity. A man who hated to see people needlessly lose their lives, and live unhappily. Osamu could not sit by any longer, and staged a coup d'etat. Osamu's personality resonated with many members of the Ishiyama. Many of them chose to follow him, opposing Seiji. Seiji had gathered his own followers, and as a result, a war between the two sides ensued. The battle only lasted a week before Osamu overpowered Seiji, resulting in Seiji's death on the battlefield. Osamu was elected as the new leader by his own followers, because of his charisma and ability to lead. Displaying kindness and generosity, Osamu banished those who still opposed him and the ideals he set out for the Ishiyama clan, instead of killing them. He gave each and every person the choice to remain a member of the clan, following the new ideals he set for the clan, or to leave and never return.
Because of Osamu, the Ishiyama now fight to protect those who cannot defend themselves. They value the lives of any living creature. Plants and animals alike. The Ishiyama vowed to protect them from those that wished to harm them. The Ishiyama never wish death upon another human being, but will not hesitate to kill if justice calls for it. They believe that sometimes, death is for the greater good.
Osamu led the Ishiyama for about 40 years, before passing on to the afterlife, and leaving the clan to the care of his only son, Kai. Kai held the same ideals as Osamu, and spent his time leading the clan with the same kindness and generosity that his father held before him. Kai led the clan for another 40 years, until he retired from his position, advising his eldest son, Hayate. It was around the time of Hayate's leadership that the great volcano had erupting, disrupting the peace that humanity had grown comfortable with. This volcano had released monsters that had been sealed within for
centuries, known as Bijuu, unleashing their terrifying power on Earth. With them came a long lost power known to humans; Chakra. People began to discover their ability to harness this internal power. Hayate knew what this meant. This was a new found power that could be used by the Ishiyama. A way for them to grow even stronger, and expand their knowledge. Hayate knew this new power would be necessary, and that because of it, anybody who could use it would be shunned by those who could not. Hayate spent his time as a leader developing these abilities, and new ways to use them. He constantly searched for answers about this new power, and passed that knowledge to the rest of the Ishiyama. He taught them all how to harness it, control it, and use it. Hayate even began to pass this knowledge onto children, making it mandatory for any and all members of the Ishiyama who could use Chakra, to learn how to use it. Hayate led the clan for another 40 years, before retiring himself. Hayate is still alive, and acts as an advisor to the current leader. He is also a member of the council in Tengokugakure.
Kasumi, Hayate's only daughter took over the clan 10 years ago. She is the first woman to have ever led the clan, and Hayate is proud of this. Recently, Kasumi too it upon herself to create what is known as Tengokugakure, the Village Hidden in Heaven. This was a village created for those who had the ability to utilize their own Chakra. The village was created atop a mountain, hidden from the world outside. With the help of many other shinobi in the Land of Life, Kasumi was successfully able to create an allied force within the village, meant to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and defend themselves from any who might attack. Once the village was created, Kasumi gathered a small group, consisting of 5 people, including herself. These 5 people were to act as the council for the village. The council agreed that the village required a leader, and elected that Kasumi become the first Sorakage.
Biological Traits:
Members of the Ishiyama clan generally have black hair, pale skin, and thin bodies. The closer they are to the original bloodline, the stronger these traits are. In general, the women of the Ishiyama clan tend to be quite short, normally standing at an average height of five feet and five inches. Men tend to be taller, standing at a towering average of six feet tall. Again, these traits tend to be stronger the closer the person is to the original bloodline. People of the Ishiyama clan are all taught about honesty, and the value of life. Members of the Ishiyama clan are kind to others, and are usually willing to help others in need. These are values passed down, as opposed to biological traits acquired through reproduction.

Additional Information:
Most members of the Ishiyama clan are trained to use speed to their advantage. Striking an opponent down quickly and cleanly is the primary tactic of the Ishiyama. If they can't strike an enemy down quickly, then they overwhelm the enemy with quick, unpredictable attacks. Most members of the Ishiyama are well versed in weapon and hand to hand combat because of this, as hand-held weapons tend to complement the style of combat quite well.
Prior to the formation of Tengokugakure, all members of the Ishiyama were forced to learn to become a shinobi in an academy type of environment. There were normally a few instructors well versed in combat who would teach groups of Ishiyama children in their classes. Once they reach a certain age, these children are forced to take an exam. Once they pass, they are given their choice of weapon to wield in combat, should they choose to fight using weapons. These weapons are all custom forged, and the Ishiyama emblem is always branded somewhere on the weapon. If a member of the Ishiyama is banished from the clan, their weapon stays behind.
Any member of the Ishiyama clan who can use chakra are forced to train hard and master it, as well. A special instructor was used to instruct these individuals in chakra use. All of these people are forced to take an additional exam at the end of their academic training, testing their chakra use.
Since the formation of Tengokugakure, the Ishiyama training methods have not changed a whole lot. Instead, they've expanded it. A shinobi academy was constructed within the village, and the academy is not limited to just the Ishiyama. Any resident of Tengokugakure is free to send their children to this academy to learn. However, the Ishiyama still force all of their children to attend this academy, and their customs still exist. Any Ishiyama child who passes the final exams of the academy and officially becomes a shinobi are still given a weapon of their own.
Within the Ishiyama clan, there are three major groups. The Sensei, Hogo-sha, and the Shinigami. The Sensei are simply a group of Ishiyama in charge of passing down knowledge to new members of the clan. Recently, their job has been expanded. They now instruct students of the entire village of Tengokugakure at the academy. The academy is not limited to only Ishiyama instructors, but Ishiyama instructors must instruct students at the academy.
The Hogo-sha are a group of shinobi meant to protect and defend the Ishiyama clan. They act as a form of police force within the village, preventing any crimes from being committed. In addition, they are tasked with the defense of the village from any outside threats. In the event of any attacks, the Hogo-sha are in charge. They give out all of the orders to any and all shinobi, and they plan any defense tactics.
Finally, the Shinigami. The Shinigami are a group of elite shinobi within the Ishiyama clan. These shinobi carry out tasks handed down directly from the head of the clan, as well as the Sorakage (currently, they are the same person). These tasks may involve the assassination of highly dangerous targets. They are only on duty when tasked with one of these missions, and when they are summoned to complete a task, they are to immediately drop any and all ongoing missions. There are only three members of the Shinigami at a time. All three members of the Shinigami are always sent on these high risk missions to ensure that the task is taken care of quickly, and efficiently. There is no leader of the Shinigami, and each member is required to work flawlessly together.
