Before you begin work on your custom kekkei genkai please make sure you've read the rules.
When applying for a KKG please use the template provided here:
Kekkei Genkai Name: What is the name of your Kekkei Genkai? Feel free to get creative.
Physiological Attributes: Explain all the physical and biological traits associated with this specific Kekkei Genkai. For doujutsu these would be primarily related to eye colour/shape. For other ones you will have to be more specific.
Stages: Does your Kekkei Genkai have different phases? If so list them. An example from the show for this would be the Sharingan with one tomoe, then two and three, Mangekyou Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Use this premise as the base for developing different stages.
Special Abilities: What does your Kekkei Genkai actually allow you to do? Be very specific because if you start using abilities that aren't listed here you may end up in trouble with staff. Make sure that any changes in ability between stages are clearly identified.
Method of Obtainment: Not exactly the same as learning new jutsu. For a Kekkei Genkai you may be able to train to develop your abilities however in a lot of cases you would be required to ‘unlock’ these traits through some sort of event or situation. If this is the case detail exactly what is necessary here. If your Kekkei Genkai has multiple stages, go through how each stage is also unlocked.
Limitations/Drawbacks: What are the limitations or drawbacks associated with the use of your Kekkei Genkai? Falling back on the Sharingan example, when Itachi used his most powerful jutsu he began to go blind. This is shared across all users of this Kekkei Genkai so keep that in mind when designing this. Keep in mind that this isn't meant to cripple your character, but is intended to balance powerful (and free) techniques.
Additional Information: If you have any additional information that is pertinent to Kekkei Genkai that we didn't cover above then please place that here.
