I AM NOT A BAD MAN even though i do bad things VERY BAD THINGS such horrible things The air was warm and humid. Makoto could feel the moisture in the air sticking to his skin beneath his clothing. The sun sat high above, heating the land with its warm gaze. Makoto took the sleeve of his right arm, and wiped the sweat from his forehead. His arm brushed the hair falling over his face, covering most of it like drapes. The heat was unrelenting. As Makoto walked forward, he gazed in the distance, glancing up at the sky. Off in the distance were thick, black clouds rolling in. It was interesting how in this land, the weather could change drastically, almost instantly. One minute it could be incredibly hot and unbearable, and the next they could be taking cover in order to hide from the infamously dangerous storms this land was known for. Walking beside Makoto was his teammate and fellow clansman, Devro Ishiyama. The two of them had taken on a mission. A wealthy man had hired shinobi of Tengokugakure to track down the bandits who had stolen some personal items from his home in the City of Light, and retrieve the stolen items by any means necessary. This was the part that Makoto loved the most about the mission, regardless of how the Ishiyama felt about it. The thought of seeing the looks on the faces of these bandits as he inflicted as much pain as he could upon them sent chills through his body. He couldn't help but smirk beneath the mask that hid the bottom half of his face. His eyes gleamed with excitement as he prepared himself for a fight. It wasn't likely that these bandits would just hand over the stolen goods, after all. Fortunately for the Ishiyama pair, the man who put out the mission request had already done his research, and had pinpointed a rough location of the ship that the bandits had arrived on. It was only a matter of finding it, now. Makoto stopped, holding his arm out, stopping Devro. There they stood, on a cliff overlooking some plains that led to the vast Ocean. They could see for miles. Over top of the Ocean were the black storm clouds rolling in towards them. Suddenly, the slight breeze picked up into a heavier wind, giving Makoto a little shove. His hair whipped up as the wind picked it up, and the trees began to sway. Waves began to crash into the beach up ahead. Makoto turned his head to glance at Devro. "Looks like we've got a storm coming!" Makoto stated. He turned his head back to face the Ocean ahead as his eyes lit right up with excitement. "This will make things interesting!" Makoto's smirk grew slightly as he thought about it. His eyes began to scan the beach, searching for a ship that the bandits could have possibly arrived on. Over to the South, he caught something. He pointed over to it, signalling Devro to check it out as well. "I think we have a winner!" he exclaimed, excitedly. There, to the South, sat a large ship. Many people stood on the beach, and they appeared to be loading it up. There appeared to be about fifty to sixty people there, passing boxes along, loading up the ship. There was about five campfires lit, as well, smoke rising up into the sky. The waves from the Ocean crashed into the side of the ship as the black clouds rolled in over top of them, and a large shadow spread out across the land. Rain drops began to fall from the clouds, striking the ground as the gradually fell harder and in greater numbers.

Breathing in and out, he took solemn breaths inhaling the air. There was an interesting mix of rain and ocean water. Devro had seen many things over the course of his short life, but never the ocean. It was a lot more vast than he thought when seeing it for yourself. Though, one thing he didn't appreciate was the humidity. It had caused his hair to frizz up from the drastic moisture that resided in the air. It gave his long spiked hair a squirrel tail look.
Devro and Makoto had been sent on this mission cross continent. Devro was pretty neutral on the feeling of coming out this far. There were trees, more trees, and lots of water. The old man that requested the Tengokugakure shinobi to take on this mission must really have wanted his possessions back. Devro wasn't a person to let a crime go unpunished, and having traveled the vast distance made his hand twitch. It had been awhile since he unsheathed his blade for any reason. There wasn't a whole lot that could quench is apt for violence other than taking these guys out.
After being stopped by Makoto, he quickly gazed out to the group of bandits. There seemed to be a horde of them. The numbers had to be around sixty or so. He remained silent while picking up the feeling the slight excitement in the air. At this point, he couldn't tell if it was more excitement coming from Makoto or him. Devro's patience was being tested during this whole trip. Looking at the bandits made him way too eager.
"Very interesting, indeed," Devro agreed while making eye contact with his clansmen about the current situation. The weather had changed dramatically and made Devro very curious about this land. The instant change in weather was impracticable, but it looked like it was in there favor. Rain started to soak his clothes and flatten out his long hair. The dark clouds shadowed the sky instantly. Devro reached to his back and unsheathed Yama Saiha. This was about to get really bloody. He knew that these guys probably didn't understand anything except violence. So, he would meet violence with violence.
"There's no need to let these guys keep going. I hate scum like them. I'll go first and draw their attention. Maybe, I'll take an arm or a leg. Hell, why not both?" Devro spoke with a straight face. He then changed his blade's position to a reverse grip with the back of the blade almost paralleling his arm. Holding both of his hands together to form a seal, he used Shunshin no Jutsu and channeled chakra into his limbs to move at high speed. He focused chakra into his feet moving down the cliff like a speed demon.
His feet hit the sandy beach with great speed. Swinging his blade in one motion, he was lunged forward now standing still among the midst of bandits. A few bandits reached for their weapons once Devro had appeared among them. Before the bandit could complete drawing his blade, two of his comrades had fallen to the sand. Upon lunging forward earlier, he had struck two of the bandits' limbs causing them to detach from their bodies. One lost his right arm and the other lost his left arm from Devro's advance.
One of the bandits that reached for his blade attempted to stand up, but found himself with a swift kick to the face. The kick had launched the man into three bandits that had were huddled against their campfire, which knocked them to the sandy earth. He quickly lifted Yama Saiha to lock blades with another that attempted to strike him from the side.
"Hey you sons of bitches! Are you going to stand around or fight?!!!" Devro exclaimed. The bandits from around the beach finally caught on to what was happening and some started charging in his direction. He hoped that Makoto would have his back. Devro's plan was to cause a distraction, but not take out these guys by himself. He knew that this mission had high risks and dying was part of that risk. Though, he was trained better than that to die on this bloody beach and in a strange land.

[attr="class","BOXU"] WE ARE ALIVE WE CAN FIGHT THEY CANNOT CONTAIN US The stifling heat was one thing that Demiyah would probably always enjoy about this country. She didn't mind the rain and the storms, and in fact, they always brought a sense of calm and peace. A reminder that she was out of that land of hostility and fear and thrown into a world she hadn't truly known existed until she crossed the threshold of one country into another. Honing her skills had been easy enough, but then again, she liked the hard work and the dedication it had taken to get her to this point. A solo mission. Bandits. The odd thing about it was the two shinobi that didn't belong to the land of Typhoons.
It was odd to her, in all honesty. Hiring an outside country to perform a mission in another country when there were perfectly good shinobi here to take care of the problem. Demiyah would never understand the clients and their reasons. She just wanted to work the missions. That was where all of her enjoyment came from.
Running along the the outskirts of the cliffs, Demiyah took great care to remain hidden, pausing to sneak from time to time, taking everything as slowly or as quickly as she needed. There had been lookouts in this area for various patrols as of late, and each one of them had stated that there was a boat nearby. Her bosses could only assume that this was the boat the two shinobi were after. To ensure that they actually left the area, they'd sent her to help them complete their mission.
The redhead paused close to the cliffs when she came into view of the boat, crouching and watching the scene from a distance. There were bandits loading boxes and such onto the ship, fires going, even though the weather was terrible and stifling, and what appeared to even be some drink and song. Typical, but also dangerous. The ones with wine in their bellies were often the most aggressive when they had to fight. The drink took away that natural fight of flight reaction and everything was fight, fight, fight.
Glancing upward toward the cliffs, she wondered where she would find those two shinobi she was supposed to be aiding. They could be coming from any direction, though she scratched the sea off her list. The waves were far too choppy to be braved by a small boat and that storm coming would have washed them away by now. Perching herself out of view, she observed silently, slowly pulling her bow from her back and removing one arrow from her quiver, loading it very loosely until it was time for action.
She didn't have to wait long, because one of the shinobi shot from the cliffs above her and down into the sand. They landed right into the thick of the bandits and started taking them out instantly. There was no knowing where the second shinobi was, but she knew the first, a man with long black hair, wasn't going to be able to take on that many at once without getting hurt. It was her turn to spring into action, it seemed, especially with a declairation like the one he had just let out.
Demiyah guessed she would fight then. Pulling back on the bow string, she properly loaded her arrow, letting the first arrow loose toward a bandit that was coming at Devro's back, knocking him back into the sand, the arrow piercing the middle of his chest, and likely his aorta with it. She loaded a second arrow as she strode across the beach, her step confident. This one struck the hand of a bandit who had drawn their weapon and was heading right toward Devro. Demiyah used her Shatter Shot technique, the second arrow on that same bandit shattering on contact, the shrapnel blinding a third bandit that had caught sight of her on the beach. The woman sighed, rolling her eyes when the bandit kept running in her direction.
Flipping her bow onto her back once more, she performed a hand sign, using her Taser jutsu to form a ball of lightning into her hand, lobbing it at the bandit to stop him right in his tracks. He was close enough to swing at her, moving wildly in an attempt to strike her before the Taser paralyzed him. She ducked away from his fist, another set of hand seals were performed, and she lashed out with a hand full of wind chakra, using Wind Sweep, and successfully blowing the bandit backward and away from her.
Her bow was in her hand again, another arrow loaded as she locked on to more bandits that were running down the shore. Smirking playfully at Devro, she tilted her head in greeting, "Welcome to the Land of Typhoons, mate." I AM NOT A BAD MAN even though i do bad things VERY BAD THINGS such horrible things Makoto's partner and fellow clansman, Devro, rushed straight into the heart of the bandits. A battle quickly ensued on the beach, right in front of the ship the bandits had arrived on. Makoto, for a moment, sat back and observed. His partner was going to head in, and distract them. Makoto was going to charge in, catching many of the bandits off guard. His eyes scanned the nearby environment, analyzing. The gears within his head turned as he planned his move. Makoto realised that it would be wise to move in from a different direction. While their attention is turned to Devro, he could come in from behind. He could probably take out at least five or six of the bandits before they even knew what had happened. Maybe more, if Makoto was on his game today. Just before Makoto could move, he noticed arrows flying into the battlefield. At first glance, the first appeared to be heading towards Devro. "Shit!" As he watched it, the arrow missed, and struck a bandit headed straight for Devro instead. Then another, striking another bandit in the hand as he attempted to draw his weapon. Either this person is a really crappy shot, or we have some unexpected help.
Makoto traced the place the arrows had come from, only to notice a woman. A woman with long, red hair standing there, with a bow. She didn't appear to be with the bandits, but her help could be short lived nonetheless. Makoto decided it was time. He needed to move in and help out. Besides, he was finding it quite difficult to fight the urge to kill, now. A smirk creeped along his face, and he took off to the side, like a blur. Through the trees he rushed, making his way around the outskirts of the battlefield. One foot in front of the other, the trees whizzed by him like a psychedilic dream of sorts. The colours meshed with one another. One more step, and Makoto pushed off to the side, changing directions on a dime. He was headed straight for the bandits now, who were all facing Devro and this mystery woman. Makoto took the palm of his hand, and jammed it into the back of the first bandit's neck, putting a slight twist on his palm just before contact. A snap could be heard as the bandit's neck grew limp, and his body began to fall. Another bandit stood in front, completely unaware. Makoto reached back with is left hand, drawing out one of his blades, Rend. Makoto took Rend, and slashed upwards at a diagonal, severing the bandit's spine. Blood sprayed outward as the body dropped, and Makoto moved by onto the next viction. A small amount of blood had landed onto his face, and he could feeth the warmth of the crimson liquid. It sent a blissful feeling through his body, and his eyes began to glisten as his smile grew larger. Reaching for the second blade with his right hand, Sunder, he noticed that one of the bandits had actually caught on. The bandit locked eyes with Makoto, and reached for a blade of his own, "Shit! Only two?! Looks like it just isn't my day today!" Instead of slashing at the bandit with Sunder, he pulled his arm back, and then threw it forward, letting go of the blade at the right moment. Sunder floated threw the air, cutting through it as it honed in on the bandit. Before the bandit could move, Sunder penetrated the bandit's head, and the bandit's head shot back before the body fell to the sand. Makoto ran by, grasping sunder with his right hand, and pulling it from the head of the bandit. He came to a full stop, standing by his partner. He shot his partner a blood smeared smirk. "Miss me?"
