Description: Getsu is a male white wolf with completely blue eyes (no visible iris or pupil). On all fours he stands to just above an average guys waist, with the rest of his body being proportional to this increase in size. Along with his unusual eyes, he also has three tails. Other than these two unique features Getsu has the usual appearance of a wolf. Ryoko has tied a black and blue scarf around the neck of his companion.
Ryoko met Getsu while on a mission as a genin. During this mission, Ryoko came across a pup who had been left by his pack. The reason was not known to Ryoko but he decided to bring him back to the village and take care of him. At the time the Fourth Hokage was opposed to this idea but after seeing the immediate connection between the two he not only agreed, but insisted that Ryoko train him as a shinobi pet. This process was slow going at first since Getsu was not raised from birth for this purpose, but after months of vigorous training combined with a natural killer instinct he began to grow. After learning how to tap into his natural energy Getsu began to accompany Ryoko on missions.
Getsu is temperamental, much like his owner and tends to not get along well with others, whether they are other animals or shinobi. He is almost always at Ryoko's side and rarely goes off on his own without being ordered to do so. Deathly loyal to his master and incredibly protective, he acts as Ryoko's personal bodyguard. This allows Ryoko to operate without the accompaniment of a jounin or member of ANBU. His size is intimidating but in battle he is ruthless and if given the order to kill Getsu will do so without any hesitation or consideration for his own safety. His natural instincts as a wolf are displayed when he is in battle and is known to go a little overboard when it comes to finishing off an opponent. "Do not kill" was the hardest trick to teach Getsu.
Techniques: Getsu has a natural affinity for Raiton, just like his master. This allows them to perform similar techniques, which is beneficial for confusing an opponent when they are transformed into one another. Besides Getsu's ability to simply tear an opponent to pieces using his claws and teeth, he has two techniques that are unique to him and are often seen when in combat.
Lightning Howl
Getsu builds up a large amount of Raiton chakra in his mouth and fires it out in a straight line at blinding speeds. Not overly devastating but will leave a good burn on any target it makes contact with as well as a sizeable hole in any exposed flesh.
Charged Claws
Getsu builds up Raiton chakra in his paws and releases it gradually through the tips of his claws. This allows him to shock and burn anything his claws come into contact with. With some concentration he can modify this technique to add a lightning attribute to his bite as well.
