Ichimei Awai Before I know it, I’m already anxiously looking forward to tomorrow!

A young girl, Awai looks the part for sure. She stands at four foot eleven, and her body has a pixie like quality to it. She's always in motion, rarely standing still. Her hair is cropped short for the most part, however, there are several long bits that are tied into low hanging pigtails that frame her face. Oddly enough, her hair is a pale purple tint rather than a natural hair color. If this is a side effect of her kekkei genkai or dye isn't known. Her skin has a translucent quality to it, making her seem somewhat sickly despite her healthy body. Both of her eyes are wide, but her long eye lashes hand over them, giving her a sleepy appearance. Her pupils look strange to most people. It looks as if a river is running beneath the upper layer of her pupils, giving them a constant motion. They glow a soft lavender, even in the darkness. Her body is slim, and Awai typically enshrouds herself in a large black hoodie. The jacket has rabbit ears on the hood for some reason. Underneath it, she typically wears a purple tank top that hangs down past her hips and half way to her knees. It usually covers the black shorts she wears underneath them.

Born with a silver tongue, Awai has always been able to talk herself in and out of situations. While finding it difficult to keep her temper in order, she's always been able to lie with ease. Awai doesn't put much value in the truth. After all, she's been living a lie for the majority of her life. As far as most of her peers are concerned, she's an orphaned girl who lost her parents when they died on a mission. Her reality is much different from what they perceived it to be. With that kind of childhood, what kind of person could find themselves living an honest life. Awai considers it silly, especially since she's a shinobi. To her, honesty is a poor trait for a shinobi to possess.
From the pressure her father put on her to constantly lying to people who considered themselves close friends to her, Awai has rarely ever had time to relax. She is very serious about her career as a shinobi, and she intends to fulfill her father's wishes no matter what. As a result, she is very focused on becoming Hokage one day. While she bares no ill will towards the current Hokage, nor would she ever dream of hurting him to get to her goal, Awai hopes he steps down for one reason another once she's at an acceptable level to replace him. If he did, that would be nice. Awai would really like to avoid hurting anyone if possible. Despite her rather serious, dishonest and focused views on being a shinobi, Awai is actually a very kind girl. She'd rather inherit the position of Hokage than shed blood over it. That's how most things go.
Awai is disciplined enough to know when force is needed, although, it does sting a bit when she needs to use it. Her heart is fairly soft despite her world views. If possible, she'd like everyone to live in a peaceful world, but that's not possible. As such, she's taken it upon herself to act seriously. However, one would never know this at first glance. Awai is a seemingly kind and quiet girl, sometimes prone to awkward moments, to most. Her true ideals or beliefs rarely breach the persona she shows most. As such, people typically think of her as someone too kindhearted to be a shinobi. In fact, a lot of people think she's more fit to be a housewife than anything else.
Whether her imposed seriousness is an actual belief of her's or something she's forcing upon herself is up in the air. What is very clear is that Awai can get extremely caught up in her own thoughts and activities. It isn't odd to find her absent mindedly tapping a pencil on a surface until the pencil snaps in half. Her body always seems in motion, rarely stopping.

Awai was born into an interesting situation. She was the daughter of the Fire Country's Daimyo. She was his youngest child, third in line for his position. However, it was clear soon after her birth that there was something about her that would make it difficult for her to ever claim such a title. Soon after her birth, her eyes were seen glowing in the dark. At first, it threw the household into panic. They didn't know what to do. Finally, after months of anxiety and fear, it was decided that she had been graced with a kekkei genkai left over from the ancestors of her father. Her father and mother were unsure what to do. She was the child of an important man, and her life was suppose to be in service of the family. As the only daughter, she was suppose to be married to the son of another Daimyo or world leader to help ensure the family's power, but with this condition she now had, it would be difficult for her to live the life of a politician or trophy wife. However, her father wasn't about to let this chance go to waste. He had the perfect vessel in which to gain more control over the country with. If his daughter used her traits to become a shinobi and eventually the Hokage, his bragging rights would transcend that of the other Daimyos, and he would be able to create a more unified Fire Country.
As such, at the age of four, Awai was sent to Konohagakure to train at the academy. Her true identity was kept secret for the safety of the girl. Only the Hokage knew of her true lineage. As such, she was raised by a nanny who lived in the apartment her father rented for her. After she turned eight, the woman left. Awai was supposedly old enough to be able to handle the apartment on her own. It didn't bother Awai much though, she had never spoken much with the nanny. Instead, she focused on her classes. In fact, Awai was near the top of her class despite having a difficult time holding still in classes. She was even somewhat popular.
It was around this age that Awai encountered her first run in with her kekkei genkai's downfall. She had been warned about it, but the girl hadn't taken it seriously until the symptoms hit her. Her head felt as if it was being assaulted by bricks, and she could barely move. Still, she had to do what her father had told her. Tears running down her cheeks, Awai proceeded to the training grounds to begin her regiment. After what felt like hours, the pain finally subsided, and Awai collapsed in the training ground, falling asleep. This was the start of a trend of hers. She would have to do this once every other month or the migraines would return. However, as she got older and older, Awai began to notice that the illness was coming much sooner. Eventually, she had to do it once a month. This was the norm up until graduation. After that, it seemed to slowly become more and more soon. Now, two years into her genin career, the pain is coming once every three weeks. | ooc info
