What a man, truly the embodiment of a soul blessed from the heavens. Put together by the perfectionist within god and the neat handy work of the devil, all sewed together to form Kouketsu's very essence. Whether be it his visage, or his fit framed physique, he is truly an astonishing individual to catch a glimpse at when walking down the empty roads he might one day be spotted within.
Soulful and restless spirits fade through Kou's elegant onyx eyed stare. Perplexed and frozen within a timeless capsule, his soul seems forever tainted with foulness, spread across his expression since the day he was born into the world of shinobi. A scowl, no perhaps simply a smile faded and blurred into nothingness is all that will bless those who look upon his elegant visage, portrayed as an arrogant leader who knows best, his eyes never truly revealing his motives or thoughts when it comes down to it. falling gracefully in a sleek and rather well groomed manner. Though in the front and back he keeps several rows of his beautifully styled lochs in small 'tendrils' put together with a thin silken fabric, giving him even more of a feminine tough than his metro sexual persona might give off. Though it is quite normal across his entire body, he usually is seen completely clothed, besides his face, and thus implicating his quite eccentric and smooth caramel colored skin tone.
With the figure and motions of the most graceful of men, even rivaling some rather masculine females, Kouketsu is known for his more carefully put together physique and somewhat delicate nature while in battle and in usual life style choices. Though this doesn't imply that he is out of shape or too scrawny at all, being quite the opposite as a matter of fact. Being of the more experienced shinobi within Suna, he is known as quite the threat, and it shows by his palm strikes and deadly footwork. Though he doesn't work out, his body is indeed muscular where it matters, though he is in no way too fit or overly masculine. His abdominals are as well as fit as many individuals, and for this reason he seems to retain the more normal and average physique rather than being too skinny or bulky where it counts.
His footwork is something admired by many within the shinobi ranks, giving him quite the fast motions in battle, mainly courtesy of the woman who once taught him everything he now utilizes in terms of speed and taijutsu based abilities. This per say, had to do with a lot of his current shape and form, giving his body a well toned manner, though his legs are by far his pride and glory in terms of ability. Training with them extensively, his leg based abilities strive to be the best with an even more muscular form than his upper body for utilizing full effort in battle.
Draped in ebony and maroon garbs, the boy wears a traditional vest, leggings and shinobi sandals. Little of the color is actually seen however, for a kimono of sorts, dark as night in color, rests over his outfit, buttoned up from the bottom of his neck down to his waist, leaving the rest open, which stretches to the beginning of his ankles, allowing a slight portion of the clothing under to peek through.
The sleeves of the maroon fabric extend down to the subject’s elbows, of which the rest (forearms and down) are covered in a thin fabric type of glove. The glove itself is unique in nature, permitting sturdy fingers to peek through, revealing their bone laced beauty. |
From what he has heard, and what he has been so easily stacked against, it is quite natural for a man such as he to believe in himself to a certain degree. Though, to take this belief and twist it to a certain extent, he acts and thinks beyond his own years, preaching and dictating actions of his opponents and subordinates in most cases.
Depicted as a fool by many of those he has conquered against in the past, Kouketsu can best be described a many that will never lose a battle of minds or strength. The reason for this you ask? Quite frankly, in his own idealisms, he is a work of art that cannot be touched by the filth that lurks through the alleys, though hell or even throughout Sunagakure. He is a man who thinks of himself as untouchable to an extent that to receive a challenger able to step up to his abilities is once in a lifetime at the most at all. The heavens perhaps grew within his own mind, belittling those who dare sully the name of his squad or the society that it was based upon.
Kouketsu is not one to hide his emotions on a subject. Not only does he have no reason to do so, but the emotions he feels are subdued by his calm and collected nature. He does not feel emotions quite in the same way as others which angers some, and frightens others; That is just the way he is. The first and most clear emotion that one could discern from Kou is Apathy. Unlike many, who care for others just to care, he doesn’t care for others unless he has to. To him, people can be split into three categories, of which are ranked and treated with the amount of respect according to the scale.
The first; superiors.
The second; comrades and loved ones.

The third; everyone else.
Attention to details, refined skill – this is the way of the shinobi. There is no point in running into a battle for no reason, and certainly no point in seeking battles for the sake of winning battles. Lastly, there is arrogance; and it is justified arrogance. For the boy to progress to where he is, to become what he is, he had to learn long ago to appreciate limits, to understand where a man could win and where a man could not win. And this, he can see in his enemies mere moments into a battle.

Born the offspring of two powerful shinobi, Kouketsu’s understanding of the shinobi way has been passed down in his blood. His father, a powerful nuke-nin from Konohagakure, was known throughout all shinobi nations for his skill as a shinobi and his proficiency in Genjutsu. He left the village in hopes of gaining power, money, and immortality, but instead found something he nor anybody else expected—a kunoichi, as powerful as she was beautiful with smooth silken lips and her hair colored scarlet. She was a marvel to his eyes, and her love of the illusionary arts were just as powerful as his; he viewed something in her he hadn’t seen in all his days, and just like that they clicked.
Kou was born a few years after the two shinobi met, conjured up from a steamy night under the moonlight atop one of the tallest buildings in Sungakure. Up until that point, she had always snuck him into the village via her jounin status. She knew perfectly well who he was, that he was a criminal, yet she didn’t care. She loved him and he loved her—Kouketsu was proof of that. He was born with his father’s face, but his mother’s hair and was a constant reminder of the feelings they shared.
The utopia they had created- the family, perfect to them- was short lived. Shortly after his fifth birthday, Kouketsu’s father would be attacked and killed while on a trip from the village. They wouldn’t hear from him for weeks at a time, and then months. They had no idea what or where he was. The news of his father’s death was brought to them by a mysterious man. The man filled the two in and while Kou was too young to really register what was going on. He could feel the weight of the loss bearing down upon his mother. She was broken. The father of her child was gone.
Kou stood as the only remaining reminder of the love of her life.
Before the man departed, he left her with a few last words. He explained to her who Kou’s father really was, why he was, and what he was. He told her to teach her son Genjutsu, and that upon doing so would unlock the ancestry within his blood—and give him the last gift from his father.
A few years after, she enrolled Kou in the ninja academy of Sungakure where he would learn all the fundamentals of being a ninja. He passed the academy with flying colors, and upon learning his first Genjutsu was gifted with the power of the Kitsune. After his day at the academy was done, Kou would head home where his mother would train him more. She taught him ninjutsu, taijutsu, and even helped him to hone his skills with his illusions. She was a master of Genjutsu and taught him many techniques.
This training continued well through his years as a genin, and as he grew older he began to train on his own in addition to with his mother. His progress was impressive for a boy his age, and at age twelve entered the chuunin exams. To him, this was nothing but another test like the ones he took in the academy. Utilizing all the skills he had accumulated thus far, he easily achieved the rank of chuunin, effectively displaying his abilities for the village and being promoted. Upon achieving this new rank, hismother bestowed him with yet another gift—the summoning jutsu. She held the contract to a family of serpents, and allowed Kouketsu to sign it as well, gaining the ability to summon reptile-like creatures to aid him.
As the years passed, he took on missions like a regular shinobi and filled his duties. He mostly took on espionage missions, effectively using his genjutsu to blend in with the environment. This, coupled with the passive abilities of his kekkei-genkai made him elite terms of stealth. Though he preferred to play the shadows, he occasionally took on missions involving him to fight/kill other shinobi— if for nothing but to keep his battle prowess up to par.
Upon turning seventeen, his skills as a shinobi has allowed him promotion to jounin, a feat rather remarkable for a boy of his age. He enjoys life in the village, but yearns to get out; as such, he has made it a recent goal of his to become either a hunter-nin or ANBU.

Please remember that as a 17 year old Jounin, you don't get too crazy with it because even though it's a high rank an older Jounin will have tons of combat experience on you.
