When the Hokage responded, Hara tilted her head curiously. Did he just tell her to actually get out? Was she being exiled? Now that would be a new one... Luckily, the young man had the heart to elaborate before the trickster could get kind of, almost, maybe, not-really hurt. She had naturally heard the rumors as well, though she hadn’t actually expected them to be true. Kages weren’t supposed to have time for Genin, especially not for personally training them. Still, if Boss believed in the rumors, she would believe too. It was kind of a funny story anyway.
Hara picked up the files and fell silent, actually listening for once. While she rifled through them, she carefully memorized each and every detail, major and minor. It was a talent that had served her well over the years. The Land of the Water, huh? It had been a while since she had last visited the place. And she had never met the Mizukage in person. Now this was interesting... And didn’t feel exactly feel like a punishment... More like a reward. And Boss must’ve known that as well. She glanced at the young man just to show a thankful smile, just barely managing to keep a teasing comment as a mere thought.
Aw, you do care after all.
The trickster tossed the files back the Hokage and grinned. It sounded like someone had finally found their sense of humor. She certainly wasn’t complaining. "You got it, Boss. Better get that money ready. I’ll be back before you know it." Her confident claim was backed up by a joking salute. "Hara Kin is on the case!" With that excited remark, she leapt out of the window and vanished into the village. Even if the door had been unlocked, she would’ve still used the flashier exit. Her mission was clear and plans were already brewing beneath the smile. In the meantime, the Hokage would get to enjoy a trickster-free village. ...For few days at least.
((And Hara exits the thread))

Hara Kin had left Ryoko alone in the room. He turned his chair towards himself and slowly fell into it. For a moment he considered whether or not sending her on this mission was the right decision but he quickly pushed these doubts aside. With her talent in genjutsu it wouldn't be too hard to monitor even the Mizukage from a distance. Unless Kazu himself was a master at genjutsu. It was a risk but he was certain she could pull it off. The trick would simply be to avoid detection. Even if she couldn't manage that, no one was better at lying their way out of trouble than her.

"Lord Hokage!" Loud rapping on the door interrupted his train of thought. He could hear a slight commotion on the other side of the door. Following this there was more yelling. "Someone has painted all over the Hokage monuments!"
Goddamnit... forgot about that. He stood up and grabbed his robe, tossing it loosely over his shoulders. "Let's go Getsu." The wolf lazily stretched and then stood up to follow Ryoko out of the room. As he opened the door he was immediately greeted by three of his villages jounin, all cursing about the offensive defamation of the cliff face. He knew that today was going to be a bad day.
