Kekkei Genkai Name: Kōton: Steel Release
Physiological Attributes: Steel Release allows the user to turn their body into steel to use as a defensive tool.
Special Abilities: More advanced users of the steel release are able to manipulate steel that they are in contact with and turn it into a weapon that they can use in a battle. Many Steel Release users often have custom steel weapons made that they may wear so that they may transform their armor, tools, etc into different types of weapons. They're also known to coat objects and the world around them in black steel that they touch to use as an impromptu weapon. This form of the steel release gives them great defense against most bukijutsu and taijutsu.
There is a variant of the Steel Release that, instead of allowing the user to manipulate their bodies and turn themselves to steel, they are able to decrease the weight of the steel they utilize. These members of the Suoh clan are primarily puppeteers, as they cannot shape or manipulate steel and can only affect the weight of it.

Method of Obtainment: Bloodline, Training
Limitations/Drawbacks: The steel release has a limited range, which is why most users generally focus on transforming the metal around their bodies. It's difficult to manipulate the earth and coat it with metal. If a steel user is coating the earth or other objects in steel, then the steel that coats their bodies will be weaker, as they are trying to split their chakra in different directions. Many high ranking lightning and wind techniques can cause major damage to the steel armor, though it won't exactly destroy it unless they're hit in the same place more than a few times.
Additional Information: Ryuunosuke Kita uses his steel limbs as weapons, transforming them into different weapons based on his need. He channels his chakra through his arm or leg and can manipulate the shape after performing the respective hand seals to his specialized Steel Release jutsu.
