History
The Oda Clan formed alongside the formation of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The clan members worked closely with the first Hokage, Hyobi Takayama, to not only found the village, but supply him the shinobi he needed to run it. This close relationship with the first Hokage is believed to be the reason the Oda Clan supports Konohagakure so strongly to this day. Perhaps to a fault, as was exhibited during the reign of the Nidaime Hokage, Suzu Higashi. Many members of the clan had worked alongside the charismatic man as his fellow Jounin. And when the clan members who served on the council were asked about their opinion of Higashi, they had nothing but amazing things to say about the man. During his reign, the Nidaime Hokage recruited the many clans of Konohagakure to go to war. The Oda Clan happily volunteered in support of the village, but later lost many men to the Higashi clan when the Nidaime Hokage was being controlled by a genjutsu technique.
It was after this tragic event that the Oda Clans ties to Konohagakure were in danger of being severed. Half of the clan screamed injustice, while the other firmly believed that Konoha should be given another chance. This rift in the clan caused a split, creating what is now known as the main branch and side branch of the Oda Clan. Members of the main branch are those who chose to stand by Konohagakure and it's next Hokage, Mizuko Akamine. While the side branch was made up of the members who wanted to cut ties with Konohagakure. These members could not so easily leave their own clan, however, without facing the penalty of death. As such, the clan agreed to function with two separate branches. However, all clan duties were to be performed by the main branch. These duties involved maintenance of the Oda Shrine, where they worshiped the God Amaterasu. Only members of the main branch were believed to be pure enough to perform the necessary rituals, ensuring that the purest flame would be passed down to each generation.
The beginning of the Great Shinobi War may have thrown the world into chaos, but it served to unify the Oda Clan over one clear purpose: survive. Fighting alongside the Sandaime Hokage, Mizuko, served to renew the side branches faith in Konha's leaders. However, the peace she left in her wake was short lived, as the Yondaime Hokage, Kiyabu Kaminaga, grew senile in his last few years as Hokage. This betrayal hit the Oda Clan hard, overshadowing the great growth Kiyabu had brought to Konoha with the hatred the side branch had felt towards the Nidaime Hokage. A rift was placed in the Oda Clan once more, firmly and perhaps permanently separating the clan by it's two branches.
Now with the Godaime Hokage, Ryoko Kaminaga, leading Konoha the Oda Clan is torn. The main branch intends to fully support him, even in exchange for their own lives. But the side branch is still scorned by the antics of the Nidaime and Yondaime Hokage. Even worse, there are rumors floating around that the head of the side branch, Shinji Oda, is planning something. Behind the face of the great Oda Clan is an internal fight that will likely turn to bloodshed. For the clan would rather slaughter it's own than taint the family name with treason.

Biological Traits
Members of the Oda Clan are generally born with darker hair in only natural colors, such as brown or black in varying shades. Dying their hair to some silly unnatural shade is seen as a sign of rebellion. As you would stand out from the clan, and appear to be unrelated. Members born into the Oda Clan are generally fair skinned, but this has varied based on marriages into the clan. Eye color is also a varied factor.
Those born into the Oda Clan boast faster reflexes, great hand-eye coordination, increased strength and larger chakra pools. This is in part due to their specialization in Bukijutsu, and their hiden techniques that require constantly pouring chakra into their weapons to enhance them or use their techniques. As such, the bloodline has adapted over the years, and each new child was born stronger than the last, though the size of chakra pools and chakra control varies from person to person.

Kekkei Genkai
The members of the Oda Clan do not have a specific Kekkai Genkai that is passed through the blood line. However, there have been Kekkai Genkai that have popped up throughout the generations. Most notable are those Kekkai Genkai with an affinity with the element of fire.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
Name: Doton: Ryūsei Shawā (Earth Release: Meteor Shower)
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: Doton
Description: By forming the proper hand seal, the user molds the earth around them into 3-5 balls of hardened rock that are slightly bigger than a clenched fist. The rock then hovers in the air in front of the user and can be used for just about anything. Suzune uses these balls of rock like a baseball, and treating her hammer that has no enhancements on it like a bat, she uses great force to hit the ball of rock and send it flying at high speeds towards her opponent.
Additional Information: Short to Mid-Range.
Name: Rakka Sutā no Jutsu (Falling Star Technique)
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: N/A
Description: This technique was derived from Doton: Ryūsei Shawā. However, instead of relying on the environment around them, the user forms 5-7 balls of chakra in their palm. These masses of chakra then hover in front of the user and can be used for just about anything. Suzune uses these balls of chakra like a baseball, and treating her hammer that has no enhancements on it like a bat, she uses great force to hit the ball of chakra and send it flying at high speeds towards her opponent.
Additional Information: Short to Mid-Range.
Name: Kyōka: Subarashi Hanmā (Enchantment: Great Hammer)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu, Chakra Flow
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Description: With their weapon in hand - in this case, a hammer - the user channels a large amount of chakra into their weapon, encasing the entire weapon in chakra that is completely visible. Then. by forming the appropriate hand seal in their free hand, the shinobi uses their chakra to increase the size and change the shape of the hammer. The higher their shinobi rank and larger the chakra pool, the bigger the hammer will get, and the more destructive force it will have. However, a bigger hammer is a heavier hammer, and some shinobi may choose to increase the size less than they have the potential for so that it's weight doesn't slow them down.
Additional Information: This technique is particularly potent on the weapons produced by the Oda Clan, which were specifically engineered for absorbing chakra.
Name: Subarashi Hanmā: Dochūbaku (Great Hammer: Underground Explosion)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: Doton
Description: Slamming their hammer into the ground, the user sends a straight line of earth hurtling towards their opponent in the form of a landslide. However, as this technique is very linear, it is easy to dodge and is best used in combination with another technique or while the target is immobile or distracted.
Additional Information: Mid-Range.
Name: Subarashi Hanmā: Dosekiryū (Great Hammer: Mudslide)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: Doton
Description: Slamming their hammer into the ground, the user causes a rupture in the ground to form, causing a wide-ranged landslide to hurtle towards their opponent. If combined with water in any form, this jutsu will turned into a mudslide that rather than simply crushing their opponent, will cause a sink hole effect. Suffocating and/or drowning those trapped in it.
Additional Information: Mid-Range
Name: Subarashi Hanmā: Jishin (Great Hammer: Earthquake)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: Doton
Description: Slamming their hammer into the ground with a great amount of force, the ground beneath the hammer cracks and the vibrations from the hammer connecting with the ground cause the earth to tremble, shaking like that of a real earthquake. To the naked eye, it appears as though this is the end of the technique. However, after two minutes have passed, the ground in a 3 mile radius will suddenly collapse upon itself. This causes the terrain to become very uneven, and shinboi risk falling between the cracks of earth and being crushed to death as the ground continues to shift.
Additional Information: Long-Range
Name: Kyōka: Subarashi Doriru (Enchantment: Great Drill)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu, Chakra Flow
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Description: With their weapon in hand - in this case, a hammer - the user channels a large amount of chakra into their weapon, encasing the entire weapon in chakra that is completely visible. Then. by forming the appropriate hand seal in their free hand, the shinobi uses their chakra to increase the size and change the shape of the hammer. One end of the hammer will remain flat like a mallet, while the other forms into a swirled point that resembles a drill. The pointed end of the Great Drill is made for penetrating defenses such as barriers or even mountains of rock.
Additional Information: This technique is particularly potent on the weapons produced by the Oda Clan, which were specifically engineered for absorbing chakra.
Name: Subarashi Doriru: Barai Burēkā (Great Drill: Barrier Breaker)
Classification: Bukijutsu, Ninjutsu
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive
Element: N/A
Description: By using the Great Drill the shinobi will use brute force to swing the drill down, destroying whatever is beneath it with precision. This includes things such as barriers, protective walls and domes, as well as naturally occurring mountains or rock structures. Depending on the size and strength of the object, it may take more than one swing to break it. However, the first hit almost always leaves a puncture mark and cracks, making it easier to shatter in the following swings.

Additional Information
Hierarchy: As stated previously, the clan has two branches: the main branch and the side branch. Members of the main branch are extremely loyal to Konohagakure; going as far as to put their life on the line for their village and Hokage. They are also in charge of tending to the shrine and performing all ceremonial duties. Members of the main branch often go on to work for the ANBU or the council. The side branch is particularly angry with Konoha, and though they refuse to directly serve the Hokage, they do still produce shinobi. However, it is clear that the side branch is planning a rebellion, though it isn't clear what their plans are as of yet.
Diet: Your body is a sacred temple, and should be treated as such. Members of the Oda Clan are very picky about what goes into their bodies, and where their food comes from. This is to ensure optimal health and physique for missions. Especially since the clan specializes in Bukijutsu, which can require immense strength. The clan is also very fond of tea, and is said to prepare some of the finest tea in the Land of Fire.
Oda Shrine:
The God - The Oda Clan worships the God of the Sun, Amaterasu. It is their belief that this divine god bestows upon them the purest flame upon birth. This flame is referred to as the 'Will of Fire' throughout many different clans and families of Konoha. Though most do not believe it is something that must be bestowed upon you, rather, that it is something acquired. It is believed that by worshipping Amaterasu, she will bestow upon you the 'Will of Fire' when you are born. A warm flame that will give rise to a powerful and successful shinobi who would bring great honor to the clan. And should they fall on hard times, Amaterasu would protect them.
Amaterasu's Shrine - Only those of the main branch, or those who have been invited and properly cleansed, are permitted inside this small shrine. Once a year on August 31st, the Oda Priestess will perform a ceremonial dance at midnight lasting until the sun rises. This welcomes in the last day of the warm summer, and is believed to persuade Amaterasu to continue watching over Konohagakure as the colder months ensue. Many offerings of clothing, weapons and food are prepared in Amaterasu's honor. Incense is burned and the Oda Clan gathers for a great morning feast at the clan leader's home.
Worhsip - As the general public isn't allowed to attend this ceremonial ritual, the Oda Clan has provided a temple of worship for those who wish to use it. The temple is open to anyone and everyone from 8am-5pm, every day of the week. Guests may burn incense, bring offerings, and write their wish on a slip of paper to be hung on the cherry blossoms just outside of the shrine.
Festival of the Sun - On the night of August 31st, the Oda Clan hosts a grand festival for the entire Land of Fire to attend. Vendors set up booths selling an array of items and food, which acts as a source of income for Konohagakure. The clan refuses to receive even a portion of the money, giving it all to the Hokage so that they can properly distribute it where it is needed. Members of the main branch perform elaborate ceremonial dances, and the current priestess performs the same ceremonial dance within the span of an hour. Paper is provided in the temple for guests to write their wishes, and just moments before midnight one hundred paper lanterns are released into the sky, carrying the 'Will of Fire' throughout the land. This is also a great opportunity for guests to dress up in their best yukata or kimono, and many young couples can be found playing games together at one of the many booths.

Tsubasa Clan - Enemies
The Ketsuki no Tsubasa (The Wings Birthed from Blood) are an awful clan that's taste for blood has never stopped with just their own members. Dragging Konohagkure's people into their bloody civil war, and even attempting to assassinate the Godaime Hokage, Ryoko. The Oda Clan looks down upon the Tsubasa as a clan that should be exiled. Clan members are not to consort with them, and doing so may be more than heavily frowned upon. (However, there is a plot with the Oda Side Branch and Tsubasa Clan. If you are interested in being involved, please PM me.)
Kuzashi Clan - Enemies
The Kuzashi clan's hatred alone for Konohagakure and it's leaders is considered unacceptable by a clan as loyal to the village as the Oda Clan. However, there are also issues with the Kuzashi's sacred ritual: The Bath of Fire. A harbinger of the accursed Shakugan, a cruel initiation for a child, and an insult to Amaterasu herself. They refer to the members of the Kuzashi as abominations. Demons born of the flames with scorched skin and eyes blinded by the seering sun. They believe that it is the will of Amaterasu-sama that this clan one day be wiped out, but refrain from doing so due to the clan's position within Konoha. Compared to the Tsubasa, consorting with a Kuzashi has even heavier backlash, as it is a direct insult to Amaterasu. A clan member risks exile in this case.
