Suzune stands at an average height of 5'5" and weighs 140lbs. The young woman is by no means extremely slender, but the weight has settled in flattering spots. Giving her the curves of a woman and slightly thicker legs. She has blue eyes and medium brown hair that comes down to the middle of her back, juxtaposed by her fair complexion. Two flower shaped buns have been made just behind her ears. Just above the two buns and holding down her bangs is a gold plated headband. The golden band extends outwards over each bun in a flat, long hexagonal shape. It seems to serve no real purpose, however, other than acting as the Hime no Oda's "crown" and war helm.

As a member of the Oda Clan, and their heiress, Suzune's attire is a bit different than other kunoichi her age. She is always in traditional ceremonial garb. Characterized by a short, white kimono with a slit on each side, revealing a black skirt. Just under the black skirt, however, is a pair of jet black shorts for modesty during missions. Tucked into the black skirt is the upper portion of her kimono. A white, sleeveless top that folds over itself across her bosom with red lining. Just a few inches above her elbow, off the shoulder sleeves are connected to the middle of the top. Lined in red, they drape unevenly over her arms. Atop her breasts is a golden tassle that holds the overcoat portion of the kimono together, and there is a black sash tied around her waist that also helps keep the outfit together. On the middle of her back the Oda Clan symbol is sewn into her overcoat. For shoes, she wears plain, black thigh high boots.

Hidden inside of her clothing are two small japanese fans. They don't appear as though they serve any purpose for combat - though she has used them before - and are used in the ceremonial rituals of the Oda Clan. Strapped to her back is a small metal hammer forged by one of the Oda Blacksmith's. It has a long shaft, and the head of the hammer appears more like a flat, double-sided mallet. Dividing the two sides is a sharp spike. There is a red grip at the very bottom of the shaft and just below the formation of the head of the hammer. She also has a kunai holster on her left thigh.

personality

One of the very first thing you'll noticed about Suzune is how animated she is. The girl reads like a picture book; every emotion and feeling clearly portrayed in her expression and body language. She's not afraid of her emotions or showing them. If she's sad, she'll cry. And if she's angry, she'll explode. She firmly believes that it's better to let things out, rather than bottling up. Though this makes it quite a bit easier for her opponents to not only read her, but toy with her emotions. Suzune isn't just letting out negative emotions, however, and is quick to laugh and love. She has a bubbly disposition that is awfully contagious.

As you might expect from someone as animated as Suzune, she's loud. She talks a big game before fights, often tearing down her opponent with words alone. These aren't her most eloquent of moments. Sometimes resulting in her arguing like a child with someone who has likely stooped to her level. Suzune is the kind to charge head first into a battle, especially when already provoked. Quick to draw her weapon, she follows an 'attack first, assess the danger and ask questions later' type of mentality. And it's gotten her in a rough spot on many occasions. Rough spots she's far too stubborn to back down from. Once her mind is set on something, Suzune won't stop until she is unconscious or dead.

The 'Princess of Oda' has been fawned over by her clan most of her life. As such, she's used to being surrounded by people who constantly treat her with respect and admiration. When she leaves her home, it's tough for her to remember that she's a shinobi, just like everyone else. And even moreso, she's just a measly Genin! The lowest of the low on the food chain. Occasionally she will slip into fits of being rather bossy and doling out orders like a true leader of a clan. Demanding complete obedience from whomever she is speaking with, no matter their rank or age. However, this rarely happens around those she truly respects and cares for. It is around these few people in particular, that Suzune wishes to bury the moniker. The poor girl can never really decide if she would like to be this 'Princess' or a 'normal girl'. Some days, one role is better than another.

biography

Suzune Oda was born in the warm summer month of August to Hajime and Yuka Oda. From the moment Yuka went into labor, they knew their child was destined to become the link between the great God Amaterasu and their clan. It was far too perfect for their little girl to be born on the 1st of August, a sacred month to those in the Oda Clan. Born to the reigning clan leader and his wife, young Suzune had a lot to live up to, and several responsibilities to fill. Perhaps this great destiny of her's seemed threatening, as just two weeks after her birth, Suzune experienced the first attempt on her life. An Oda of the main branch, especially one as young and treasured as Suzune, however, is never left unattended, and the assassination attempt failed. Though a dead man cannot talk, and Hajime was left without a reason as to why his daughter had been targeted.

At the age of eight, Suzune was placed into the Shinobi Academy. She trained diligently both at the academy, and at home in the Oda Clan's dojo. Learning the basics of any weapon she could get her hands on. During her days at the academy, she excelled in ninjutsu, bukijutsu, and taijutsu. But was absolutely awful about absorbing the information in her textbook, and as such, nearly flunked the written exam. However, this had more to do with the boring content than intellectual ability. And her teachers, realizing this, placed her in a group of especially talented students at the age of twelve. By this time she had settled on a large, mallet-like hammer as her preferred weapon of choice. And her father had one especially crafted for increased chakra absorption upon her admittance to this "elite" group of students. It was here she met Ryota Mori, a boy gifted in wood release who later became one of her teammates.

When the Chuunin exams rolled around, they were placed into a squad with another Genin who had graduated in their class but hadn't received the special training and a Jounin sensei who was called the "Hawk Sage" for his jutsu style using hawks. The three Genin were given two more weeks to become friends and adapt to each other's abilities and then before they knew it, it was time for the exams.

The exams were hosted in Kirigakure that year, and Suzune and Ryota both made it to the final round. However, while Ryota passed the exam and went on to become a Chunin, Suzune ran into trouble. Trouble came in the form of a Kirigakure "Genin" who was skilled in assassination techniques. As the fight progressed, it became very clear to both Suzune and the audience that the girl she was fighting was far too skilled to be a Genin. But without a judge stepping in to call foul-play, Suzune was forced to continue the fight, eventually losing and spending the next two weeks in the Konohagakure Hospital for treatment. Her father was less than pleased that his precious daughter had not only disappointed him, but been so badly hurt. Could this have been yet another attempt on her life?

Once Suzune was back in proper shape, she began going on missions again with Ryota and their team. This made Hajime extremely nervous, but he had no choice but to allow his daughter to perform her duties to Konoha. Even going so far as to allow her to take on a B-Rank mission with her team, which was very unusual for a team of Genin to receive. However, a member of the main branch was to always put the good of the village before their life, and Suzune took the mission with her team. The mission, however, would turn out to be one of her hardest. Half way through the mission, Ryota and Suzune were separated from their teammate and sensei. The two were surrounded by enemies, and it was unclear whether they would make it out alive. That day, the two made a promise. A promise to keep each other safe for the rest of their lives, no matter what.

And they did just that. Suzune and Ryota made it out alive, albeit with plenty of injuries. Their sensei and fellow teammate, however, sustained injuries that would bring about an end to their career as shinobi. This only further served to strengthen the bond between Suzune and Ryota, and Hajime Oda began to place his trust in the strange boy who had helped bring his daughter home alive. With the Chunin Exams around the corner, Suzune and Ryota are training diligently every day. Suzune fully intends to pass the exam this year, and afterwards she hopes she and Ryota will finally be assigned to another team.
