Shimo Rengetsu Welcome to a world of bloody evolution!

Shimo's hair is a snowy white that seems to spike up while his bangs slightly arch over towards his eyes. His eyes are a greenish-blue color and have behind them a sense of sadness yet a refined sense of discipline behind them. He is about five feet and nine inches tall, his skin is a bit pale in complexion and scattered about his torso and back are a few scars he has gathered. His muscle tone is very defined while his form is a bit lanky similar to that of a track runner or a swimmer's body. His father had tattoo's embedded into the boy's skin upon his graduation from the academy within Kirigakure, the three tattoo's signify the three tenants the man forced his son to remember which were discipline, power, and victory.
When it comes to clothing, Shimo prefers to stick to clothes that are form fitting to help reduce the chance of them getting in his way during combat or training. He wears a black full body shihaksho that is sleeveless to allow full rotation of his arms with little limitations to them. His wears the standard shoes that most shinobi wear that are black in color to go along with the rest of his outfit. His hands are covered in fingerless gloves to help maximize his grip while providing some protection to his hands from outside damage. He has a sword that he wears upon his back, strapped securely around his chest by a fine sash with a crest fastener to keep it tightly secured. Finally, he has a white Haori that has his family's crest upon it's back to signify his family lineage that he wears whenever he is not in a combat situation.

Shimo's personality is a bit two toned, since he has had to suppress most happy emotions for quite some time growing up with his parents. For the first five years of his life, Shimo was allowed to act like a normal child would. He was curious, easily excited, and always happy so long as he had his parents to help keep his emotions high. It wasn't until he was sent to the shinobi academy that the true side of his father came to form, plunging Shimo's life into a pain filled spiral of misery. His father was a very skilled swordsman, and so pushed his teachings upon his son in his own way all to form discipline and focus into the boy. He no longer allowed him to play outside, cut all of his ties with the other kids he played with outside of the academy, and forced him to study and train each night. This slowly caused shimo to lose his child like essense, the curiousity left him, the happyness was torn apart, and his excitement was dashed instantly as his masked set of emotions came to light.
Thanks to his father's savage beatings and training regiment, Shimo had become a disciplined, focused, and near emotionless child once he had graduated the academy. He would display little to no reactions to jokes, celebrations, and seemed to only respond to pain being the one thing he constantly felt. It wasn't until his father died a few weeks after his fifteenth birthday that his mother was able to start piecing piecing his psyche back to normal. While he is still calm, collected and seems rather cold upon the outside, he has actually started to smile every now and then when the oppurtunity presented itself. In private, he stands in front of a mirror in his home and practices emotions in the mirror to try and make himself a bit more approachable to others, in hopes to gain some friends.
He is rather fond of quite a few things, some stand out more than others however. He loves spicy foods, never turning down a bowl of anything that is even a little hot to the taste buds. That being said, he rather enjoys food from other nations as well, loving to try foods that he could never get a hold of at home. He enjoys for a similar reason, being able to visit some place new always gets him in a good state of mind. When it comes to meeting people, he loves those who are vibrant and full of energy, hoping that it will help him develope the same kind of point of view on life.
Where there are things he likes, there are also those he finds he cannot stand as well. Bitter tasting foods as well as most medicines with the bitter taste he finds he cannot stand and will only take the latter if absolutely necessary. He dislikes open conflict such as the thoughts of war, the thought of many innocent people dying pains at him due to the pain it sends others that are effect by the conflict. That being said, after the events that happened through his childhood, he absolutely hates seeing bullying or those being abused and will quickly take action upon seeing it without a moments hesitation. Finally, he tries to distance himself from people with negative attitudes such as angry or narcasistic ones, finding them a bit distasteful and reminding him too much of his father.
When it comes to his hopes and dreams, his list is really simple but some are harder to obtain than others. One of his hopes is to make friends from other villages, to help form strong bonds that will help show the other nations that there is no need for war with one another and that peace can be maintained. Another hope of his would be to be considered a master of his Hyoton chakra as well as his swordsmanship to help keep those he considers friends safe from harm. As for dreams, one of them would be to actually meet a girl that he can feel comfortable enough around to attempt a relationship with. His final dream is to become a widely known shinobi amongst his peers and elders, a 'hero' in the eyes of others to show that he could rise from the crushing life his father tried to leave him in and become his own person.

Shimo was born into a shinobi family of swordsmen and Hyoton wielders, which gave him quite a lot to deal with when he was growing up. His father was a fiercely disciplined man, known for his ruthless swordsmanship and demand of respect and loyalty from his peers and underlings. His mother is a beautiful woman and tried to shelter her son from his father's harsh rule but that was not meant to be. At first, the boy was allowed to grow up with all the other kids around the villiage, playing and having fun like a normal child would do. However, once he reached the age of five, his father decided to take the child away from that life and start his training for the life of a shinobi. The first lesson he told his son is that in order for him to gain his life back, including his friends, he would have to be able to match his father in a duel between swordsmen. That day began to hardship he had to endure throughout his life inside of the academy, his home life being nothing but constant combat and hardship.
His father pushed him each day at home, constantly overshadowing his lessons at the academy by reading over the boy's notes and lessons. Each lesson the boy was to learn at the academy, his father would push him in all hours of the night to make him practice, some nights only gaining a few precious hours of sleep before he had to begin his next day at the academy. One example of the pushd training was learning how to throw a ninja tool properly at a target, where his father would throw rocks or hit him with a bamboo rod each time he failed to hit the target at home that he had set up. His mother tried to stop his father from treating him so harshly, but she was met with harsh yelling and the boy getting hit for her outburst. Still the boy pushed on, enduring the emotional and physically grueling life his father had laid out before him with each passing day.
On the day he turned twelve, his father presented him with a practice bokken and told him that his training to become a swordsman was to begin. Just when he thought his father was going to lessen the harshness of his training, he soon realized his hardship had only just begun. His father did not feel that teaching him side by side was the best way to train the boy, instead combat against one another was the best way for the boy to develope the reflexes needed to wield a sword. He did not hold back on the boy when it came to his faults, hitting the boy hard enough to draw blood with the bamboo sword he used to spar with the boy. Still, with each scar and mistake he made, the boy began to develope his skills with the blade at a nice steady pace, even if it wasn't as fast as his father would of liked. This training continued through until his final days in the academy, where after he received the rank of genin and graduated, his father took it upon himself to embed three tatoo's on the boy so that he would remember his training well.
It was around the age of fifteen that tragedy befell the Rengetsu home, his father had become ill and was not recovering from it. The disease was killing him and on his final day he asked to speak with his son one final time. Shimo came to the dying man's side, listening to his parting words. He told him that he did not appologize for the harshness of his childhood, that it was completely necessary for him to endure if he was to survive in the world he was leaving behind. The rumors of a possible war sparking at anytime only cemented this reasoning and his father continued with explaining his reasonings to Shimo for a few precious moments of life longer. He bestowed upon Shimo the blade he was leaving behind, telling him it was his until he was able to forge a blade for his very own. His final words to the boy were reciting the tattoo's he gave him, Discipline leads to power and power leads to victory. After they laid his father to rest, his mother stepped more into his life to try and repair at least some of the damage that was left behind.
She showed him a little on how to manipulate his Hyoton chakra, and while he was picking it up, he still wasn't grasping it as much as he wanted to thanks to his training and time spent with his Jonin sensei and squad. With his squad, he is learning teamwork and covering one another's flaws while taking on missions side by side with each of them, this meant something to Shimo since it was one of the first times he felt positively encouraged by his skill and training from others. With his father gone and his mother encouraging him to be out on his own and experience things, Shimo had moved away from his home to a house in the village closer to some of his fellow genin to help him develope and grow along side of them instead of living in the shadow of his father's wake. Currently, Shimo can be seen walking throughout the village, completing missions along side his fellow shinobi and continuing his training each and everyday.
