Tsubasa Clan

History:
Since ancient times, Shinobi vied against one another for supremacy, wealth, and power. The Tsubasa Clan was no different back then, craving battle wherever they can find it. Yet most Clans over look one thing despite gaining so much power in jutsu of all kinds; it was knowledge. Knowledge was in true essence, unmeasured power and by that established creed, the Clan gained further dominance thanks to their deep bond with Chakra itself. But with further advancements, internal conflict erupted to see which was the strongest fit to lead; an unwavering amount of bloodshed hence to their second well-known name, “Ketsuki no Tsubasa” (The Wings birthed from Blood). Some old records even say, that some people were so entangled with the deep bond of Chakra, it brought forth further war or salvation.

When the civil conflict finally lifted under a just rule of balance in knowledge and wisdom, the Clan was finally at peace. While some were devoted fighters, most Clansmen became scholars dedicating their lives into inventing, discovering or even adapting other jutsu; all for the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. In light of these recent events, the Clan decided to join up with Konohagakure no Sato for their vast favorable landscape, resources, and ensuring their civil peace will last for generations. Yet their bloodthirsty nature isn't something that can't be wiped clean, it shall always linger waiting for when it’s next chance to rise again.

As the years went by, the blood ran through the wings once more. A portion of the Clan ensued chaos and reigned civil war once unto which spread not only in the Clan but to the entire village of Konohagakure. Which quickly ended in the Sect of the Clan’s defeat, by the Hokage’s order the survivors of the Sect of the Clan were to be exiled and documents from the most earliest of the Tsubasa’s record to be destroyed. To commemerate Konoha’s victory and reestablish the Tsubasa’s position in the village, the monumental Grand Library of Konoha was built. However, since then Konoha has always placed a careful and stern eye on this Clan for further years to come.

When the exiled Sect of the Tsubasa was sent on it’s own, something dark brew; they forged their own religion. Known as their renowned name of the past, Ketsuki no Tsubasa, the pride themselves of the old ways and lust for power. They worshiped the being born once in a few generations as dictated in their ancient documents, the Catalyst of War, as their god in order for chaos to rule the world once again. And with their freedom, they grew smarter and spread their influence around the world, even in the main Tsubasa Clan itself.

One could even say, is this Clan even worth keeping around in this world?

Biological Traits:
Clansmen commonly share red or orange shades for hair and the majority for most of the eyes is amber. But they all do inherently share a psychosis, they have a greater tune to violence, greed, wrath, envy and pride. A hopeful is only a single trait, some have all of these and some have something just as worse but something else entirely. Their minds are well-gifted but it comes with a price.


Another inherent trait is that some very few Clansmen gain an alteration to their Kekkei Genkai, Chakra Tengai, known as Kaibutsu Chakra Tengai. It’s the ability that old doctrines in history spoke but only recorded of only two existing. They bring nothing but chaos, brought up by fear, admiration or worse.

Clan Duties and Rituals:

Leader: The leader is basically the face of the Clan and probably has the most leverage in power in the Clan besides the Council of Ten. The leader also attends almost every meeting with Hokage or other important to preserve the Clan’s standing forever more. The leader isn't only decided by birthright, but by both a perfect balance of strength and wisdom. Only the perfect balance can lead the Clan on the true path.

The Council of Ten: Besides the leader, these ten individuals may in fact be the most powerful force that drives the Clan. By an unanimous vote alone, it can drive forth a new Sect to a new Leader for the Clan if it came down to it. But even they have have to follow the rules as the previous Leaders established for them.

Scholar Sect: One half of the division of choices if a Clansmen isn't satisfied with only their rank as a Shinobi. These people dedicate themselves in learning, discover and uncovering the secrets of the world for all mankind. Their works are usually contributed to Konoha’s academy, other libraries, and even deemed military secrets where Konoha locks them all away from the public eye and gaining the envious eye from Konoha’s rivals.

Protector Sect: The other half of the division of choices if a Clansmen isn't satisfied with only their rank as a Shinobi. These people in particular basically hone their skills and become somewhat of a police force for the general populace. Their jurisdiction mainly is in their Clan or anything involved with it, only Konoha’s officials may expand when deemed necessary.

Rituals: The only Tsubasa ritual of recent memory is the coming of age ceremony. When a young Clansmen graduate the academy, their mark written in kanji is tattooed on the person’s body. It’s all in order to celebrate the future is about to come for one of the Tsubasa Clan. Any other ritual were from the old, blood-ridden days for the Tsubasa and now are deemed outlawed and forbidden due to violent and heinous nature.

Built in honoring the renewed relationship between the Clan and their country, this became a place to go for all those who desire what’s there for all to know. Whether it’s studying for that academy exam or learning about how Chakra works, it can all be found here. Here is also where the majority of the Scholar Sect’s findings are submitted making this the only place to read what new discoveries were uncovered.

Ketsuki no Tsubasa (The Wings Birthed from Blood):

The cult has grown over the years, spreading their influence and their so-called truths across various nations. It’s unknown of who their leader is or how many people are actually involved or who’s involved. By pure speculation, they thrive in the deep underground and biding their time to make a move. All that is certain is that they are enjoying their way of life, it may or may not has a caught a few whispers around the Shinobi world. They only have one goal, let chaos reign once again and forever as it used to be.
