GIVE ME MILES AND MILES OF MOUNTAINS AND I'LL ASK FOR THE SEA ❝ Running her finger tips across the smooth, golden scales of her inland taipan, she waited silently to see if he would respond to her touch. The snake, however, was fast asleep. The ride on her shoulders had been a complete and utter nightmare for the snake. Fumiko's height combined with the giant she'd been riding on put their height at just shy of twelve feet, and the snake had spent the entire 'ride' coiled so tightly around her shoulders that he'd caused light bruises to form, hidden under her black dress. With a soft yawn she swung her legs over the bed. Reinvigorated by her short nap, she could feel her curiosity coaxing her slowly but surely out of the bed. "Stay put, kiddo. I'll be back in a bit."
The words Umashi had left her with played over in her head as she stepped off the bed, looking back towards her reptilian companion. Perhaps she should at least take Shi, but the golden snake would even get snippy with his mistress if he wasn't allowed time to rest after the events of the afternoon. "I'm going," she said softly, despite the fact that there was no one to listen to her departing words as she slipped out the door of her room, and out of the inn. "Rain," she mumbled, reaching out an open palm as if to catch the falling rain. Thankfully, the woman at the front counter had provided her with an umbrella on her way out. Opening the umbrella, Fumiko began her adventure through the dark, bleak village called Amegakure. Most of the architecture was black or metallic in appearance, and the village appeared to be highly industrialized. It was exactly how it had looked in the book she'd read: Architecture of the Shinobi World. After roughly twenty minutes of walking, she'd found herself near the entrance to Amegakure. Yet, at the same time, quite hidden from the gates as she made her way down what appeared to a small shopping district. A Black Market? It was possible. But the rain seemed to deter the merchants today. "You look lost, little lady. Shall I help you find your way back home?"
The foreign voice cut through the sound of the rain like a hiss in the wind. It was a man with a tone that suggested his intentions were anything but safely escorting her home. However, Fumiko hardly flinched as she turned around to meet the man's gaze. She hardly had time to read the engraving on the man's forehead protector before he was just inches in front of her. Fast. Large hands tightly gripped her shoulders, and the blonde let out a soft whimper as his fingers pressed into the fresh bruises Shi had left. Her grip on her umbrella loosened, allowing the wind to scoop it up and out of the alley. It was times like this that Shi would have protected her. One bite would be all it took to send the Jounin to the ground. But Shi wasn't here, and the Genin was horribly unequipped for close combat. ooc: KurayamiMADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

Rain crashed down from the sky. Droplets struck Kazu's kage hat before breaking apart and landing on the ground. Kazu placed one foot in front of the other as we made his way through the streets of Amegakure. Each foot splashed into a newly formed puddle of rain. Kazu rather enjoyed the gloomy weather. Kazu removed his hat, letting it dangle from the back of his neck. Kazu stopped for a moment, tilting his head back and closing his eyes. The cold rain felt good as it ran down his face, clinging to the skin. Kazu took in a deep breath. His lungs expanded, forcing his stomach to move outwards with the more air he had taken in. I wish it would rain as much as this in Kirigakure.
As if on queue, Kazu could hear the voice of a little girl only a few streets away. Kazu's eyelids shot open. His head straightened immediately, and his eyes darted to the direction of the voice.
"I'll be back shortly, Seiren." Kazu stated to his escort, before suddenly vanishing into thin air. Kazu moved gracefully through the streets, leaping from rooftop to rooftop trying to find the source. Finally, there stood a man. Kazu gazed through the rain, standing upon a nearby rooftop, examining the situation only for a brief moment. In front of the man stood a small, blonde girl. Her shoulder s gripped by the man's large hands. Kazu's stomach sank. This man was scum. Picking on a poor, helpless little girl like that. "I won't stand for this." Kazu quietly whispered to himself, a small grin creeping across his face as though he were excited. Once more, Kazu disappeared into the rain.
A hand cut through the rain, grasping onto the man's right wrist. Attached to that hand was Kazu, who had reappeared in an instant, not holding onto this man's arm. Kazu's face grew cold, yet angry. His eyes narrowed, and his eye brows angled downwards. Kazu stared intently into the man's eyes before speaking.
"Picking on little girls, are we?"
With no hesitation, Kazu's right leg shot up, knee first. The falling rain bounced off his knee, shooting off in all directions as it moved up and towards the man's arm. With a loud crunch, Kazu's knee struck the arm of the man, snapping the bone in half. The loud, painful scream of the man echoed through the streets of Amegakure. The man immediately let go of the little girl's shoulders with both of his hands, stumbling back as he reach for his right arm with his left. His right arm dangled at his side, unable to move.
"You're lucky I didn't remove it." Kazu warned the man, face still stern and cold. Kazu's eyes examined the man once more, taking notice to the forehead protector. "So, you're from Iwagakure." Kazu stated to the man, simply as a means of confirming his identity.
"You have about ten seconds to leave with your life." Kazu warned the man. "Is that so?" the man replied before rushing in, drawing a kunai from a sack latched to his belt. "Bad move."
Kazu's right hand latched onto the handle of Izanami, the Kusarigami that hung from his waist. Grasping onto the handle with his right hand, his left gripped the chain on the opposite end. From the end of the chain dangled a heavy, blunt piece of metal. As the man rushed in, Kazu loosened the grip he had on Izanami with his right hand slightly, letting her fall until he tightened the grip again, now holding onto the chain. With a light twitch of Kazu's right arm, Izanami began to spin incredibly fast, slicing the rain as it came into contact.
Loosening the grip once more, Izanami flew through the air. She whistled as she sliced through the air, directly towards the man. The man came to a halt, unable to react in time. At the last second, A surge of Kazu's chakra moved seamlessly through the chain of Izanami, allowing Kazu to alter the course oh so slightly. Izanami moved to the right a few inches, barely missing the guy's head. The man's eyes followed the blade s it moved passed him.
"You missed!" the man bragged with a massive grin.
Kazu gave the chain he held with his right hand a slight tug, calling Izanami back. The blade struck the shoulder of the man, coming to a halt for a second with the blade buried into his flesh, followed by another ghastly scream resonating from the man's mouth. A bright bolt of lightning lit the sky up completely, and a pounding boom of thunder shortly followed. As the thunder boomed, Kazu gave the chain one more tug, this time a little harder. The blade slipped through the flesh and bone of the man's left shoulder, and his left arm crashed into the ground beneath him, landing in a muddy puddle below. Red blood sprayed from the open wound, staining the ground below crimson.
The man's skin turned pale. This time, there was no scream of pain. The man only fell to his knees, the water sitting on the ground splashing up. Kazu stared the man directly into the eyes as he caught Izanami. He pulled Izanami back once more, and hurled the blade forward. The tip of the sickle struck the man clean in the forehead, penetrating the skull and killing him instantly. Kazu gave the chain one last tug, pulling the blade from the man's skull. The man fell forward, landing face down in the mud. Blood slowly oozed from all of his wounds, turning the water on the ground red.
After placing Izanami back onto his waist, Kazu turned to face the little girl he had just rescued. The robe he wore as a kage swayed in the wind as he spun around. On the back was written "Godaime Mizukage" in blue kanji. His smile brightened his whole face right up as he slowly approached the little girl.
"Are you alright?" he asked her, with a smile.

GIVE ME MILES AND MILES OF MOUNTAINS AND I'LL ASK FOR THE SEA ❝ Fighting was so troublesome. Especially with the enemy just inches away from you. Staring down with eyes hungry for bloodshed. Any effort she'd ever put into learning new jutsu had been to keep the enemy away from her. There was almost no point trying once the fight was brought into close quarters. Just as she had resigned herself to an inevitable death; splash. In one swift motion a second man had appeared, ripping one of the hands that had been gripping her shoulder away from her. That...chakra... she thought, wide-eyed as she stared the white-haired stranger down. Crunch. The sound of a bone cracking from sheer force tore her away from her thoughts, and back to the situation at hand. "So, you're from Iwagakure." Her gaze softened at the confirmation, finally realizing what Umashi had meant. The life of a missing-nin was a dangerous one. "Fool," she mumbled, watching as her assailant drew a kunai and charged forward with the intent to kill the man in white. How could he be so cocky? There was a clear divide in not just skill, but their chakra as well. Admittedly, her innate sensory abilities were higher than those of her age and skill, but she could see his enormous pool of white chakra without even trying to. Calling him a formidable opponent was likely an understatement. But it was already over. Like a cat that had trapped a mouse, he played with his prey. Allowing the jounin to think for a brief, fleeting moment that he ever had a chance. Before ending the battle with two swift swings of his kusarigami. To think he was this strong with just a weapon... "Godaime Mizukage-sama," she said, reading the kanji written on the back of his cloak as he turned to face her. There was something about the way his deep, amber eyes looked at her that betrayed the smile that danced across his lips. In response to his question she nodded ever so slightly. Her facial expression showing no signs of fear or a response at all to the bloody fight that had just unfolded before her eyes. "Thank you," she said, remembering her manners as she pushed wet strings of hair out of her face. MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

Kazu stared at the little girl for a moment, waiting for a reaction. He had just ended the life of another man in front of her, spilling this man's blood all over the ground. He waited and waited, until he had finally come to a conclusion. This poor girl...
Casually walking up to her, Kazu still smiled. He placed his hand on the girl's head, her blonde hair covering his fingers. Kazu knelt down on one knee, bringing himself down to eye level with the little girl. His hand still rest on the top of her head. It was clear to Kazu now that she wasn't going to react. There must be a reason for that. Any normal little girl would be freaked out by what had just happened.
"I'm Kazu. What is your name?" Kazu asked the little girl with a smile. "Do you have any parents? Who is watching over you?"
Awaiting a response, Kazu gazed around the village. His eyes darted from street to street, building to building. If one man wanted this girl dead, then it was likely that he wasn't alone. If Kazu was right, this little girl didn't just run into this man. It was likely that she was being hunted. Kazu kept his eyes peeled, still examining the surrounding. If somebody else was here, they weren't going to get this little girl.

GIVE ME MILES AND MILES OF MOUNTAINS AND I'LL ASK FOR THE SEA ❝ As he set his hand down on her head, she kept her gaze locked with his, following him downward until he met her at eye level. Which was quite a ways down at her meager height of five feet. "Ah," her mouth parted to free a soft sound as he kneeled down, sullying his clothing in the damp, muddy ground. He hardly seemed to notice, however, and Fumiko held back from commenting on it. The white haired man remained quiet for a moment, studying her blank expression before his lips tugged back up into that smile of his. He was much harder to read than most. "Kazu," she said, nodding as if to confirm the name. "Fumiko," she responded with her own name, mirroring his lack of surname. Which, with her identity as a missing-nin, was likely in her favor. But then they were right back to surnames with the family question. For a moment she could see her father's face, and she wondered if he'd been home yet. He wouldn't have thought anything if she wasn't there. But the blood on the walls? He'd notice that. Though the man showed even less emotion than she did, he cared for his daughter's safety. Even if he was never around to ensure it. "Onii-chan," she finally said, breaking the silence she created as she mulled over the question. It had been the only answer she felt she could give. And her heart thumped, a fluttering feeling in her stomach that was all too foreign. But with each time she used the word in reference to Umashi, it came out easier, warmer. What a weird feeling. As the man, Kazu, looked around, Fumiko found her gaze scanning the alley and tops of buildings for... something. His gaze had a sense of urgency to it, and she couldn't help but want to help. "Are you ok?" she asked, small, cold hands reaching out to take his face and gently turn his gaze back towards her. Blonde locks fell over her face as her head cocked lightly to the side. The faintest hint of worry for him overtaking her usually emotionless features. "Ah," she breathed, her cold hands breaking away from his face as she slipped out of his grasp, darting around him. "Shōton: Kesshō no Yoroi" she said, her words slightly louder than her usual volume. Her arm quickly encased itself in a magenta colored crystal, deflecting two shuriken encased in wind natured chakra that had been headed for Kazu. They whistled in the wind, connecting with her crystal-encased arm and shattering it with ease. One of the shuriken fell to the ground, its momentum stopped. While the other grazed her arm. Onii-chan? Kazu's body relaxed a little more as he heard those words leave the lips of Fumiko. He was glad to know that she wasn't by herself. Such a little girl, all alone in such a cruel world? A world of shinobi? He wouldn't - no, he simply couldn't stand for that. Kazu smiled, though his eyes still darted around the streets of Amegakure, in search of the probable accomplice. " Fumiko? What a pretty name!" Kazu stated warmly, his attempt at making the little girl feel comfortable. " Onii-chan? He sounds like a great guy!" The rain began to fall harder for a moment. Kazu's silver-white hair stuck to his face, soaking wet. His kage robes drenched in the rain water and mud that sat on the ground, building up as the rain only continued to fall with no sign of letting up. Bolts of lightning flared in the heavens above, the ground shaking from the rolling thunder that followed shortly. Kazu seemed distracted. He worried about who else might be out there, if anybody. Why would somebody want this adorable little girl dead? She seemed innocent enough. But Fumiko's cold hands quickly snapped him back. They felt like the snow of the Land of Frost touching the skin of his cheeks. Fumiko forced Kazu's head forward, and he found himself staring directly at her once more. " I'm fine!" Kazu responded without hesitation to Fumiko's question. Kazu was clearly being too obvious now, and she obviously knew something was up. But before Kazu could say anything more to try and reassure this little girl, she let go of his face. Kazu's hand fell half an inch before he stopped it in the air, no longer supported by the little girl's head. She moved around him, shouting the name of a jutsu Kazu had only heard an incredibly small number of times in his life. He spun his head around, putting Fumiko back in his line of site. By the time his gaze was set upon her once more, her arm was encased in a magenta colored crystal. Two shuriken cut through the rain like a knife through butter, striking her crystal encased arm. The second shuriken had made it through, grazing the surface of her flesh. It moved directly towards Kazu's face. With a slight tilt of the head, the shuriken missed, whizzing by and disappearing into the heavy rain. Crystal release? So she is a shinobi.
Kazu stood up and spun himself around, standing directly behind Fumiko. His eyes locked onto the fresh cut that the shuriken had left behind on her arm. Only thirty feet away stood another shinobi. This one was definitely smarter than the last. He knew he couldn't attack Kazu head on, so instead he tried from a distance, hoping to finish it quickly. Kazu's eyes locked onto this stranger. His face grew cold, and his eyes dead. Kazu stood there for a moment, letting the rain continue to drench him further. Not a word was said. He only continued to stare, until finally he vanished, like a blur. The water beneath where his feet stood rippled slightly, indicating his fast movement. Almost instantly, Kazu was standing directly in front of the culprit, with his right hand wrapped around the throat of this man. The man's eyes widened, and he stood there, paralyzed. Kazu gazed directly into his eyes, coldly.
"Why are you hunting her?" he asked, his voice leaving no trace of emotion. "W - w - we were h - hired!" the man responded, stuttering over his own words. "Not good enough. Who is paying you?" "The Tsuchikage! He put out a bounty on this brat! P - please! Don't kill me!"
Kazu's grip on the man's throat tightened. The man's eyes began to bulge, bloodshot. Kazu then hurled the man forward, and he stumbled back as he tried to regain his balance, tripping over a rock and falling flat on his ass. Kazu gazed at the man, sitting in the mud for a moment. He began to slowly walk up to the man, his facial expression still as cold as his ice release. With every step forward that Kazu would take, the man would scurry back to stay away, tears rolling from his eyes and snot running from his nose.
"I'm going to kill you, now." Kazu stated. The man stopped scurrying back, imprints if Kazu's fingers developing into bruises around his neck.
Once more, Kazu vanished, leaving no trace that he was ever standing there. Almost immediately, like a flash, Kazu appeared behind the villain, Izanami drawn and the chain dangling in front of the man's throat. Kazu swiftly wrapped the chain around the neck of the shinobi, and pulled tightly on both ends held in either hand. The chain hugged the neck of the man so tightly that the skin began to overlap. His eyes began to bulge once more and drool rolled own of his mouth as he tried to gasp for air. The man's arms rose up, his hands grasping at the chain, pulling in order to take them off. Kazu only became irritated, and he began to tug harder, tightening the grip even more. He continued to tighten the grip until he heard a faint snap, and the man's neck fell limp. Kazu loosened Izanami, removing it from the villain's neck, and his corpse fell to the ground.
Kazu placed Izanami back at his side and began to walk up to Fumiko once more. This time, without the smile. He wandered up to her, rain water dripping from the tips of his silver-white hair. Kazu stopped directly in front of Fumiko, staring down at her as he continued to stand tall. Finally, he knelt down once more, looking her directly in her eyes. The smile reappeared once more and his face became quite warm. He grabbed Fumiko's arm and softly touched the small wound.
"Are you alright?" he asked.

GIVE ME MILES AND MILES OF MOUNTAINS AND I'LL ASK FOR THE SEA ❝ Why? She gazed down at the fresh wound on her arm, watching as a small line of blood flowed outwards, wrapping around her arm and dripping onto the ground. It was different. Seeing your own blood versus the blood of others. Why did I...? Her fingers lightly traced the wound, and she winced slightly from the stinging pain. Just moments earlier she'd resigned herself to death. The effort to fight for her survival had been too troublesome. And yet, the second she'd sensed the chakra encased shuriken heading for the man's head, she'd rushed to save him without a second thought. Not that Kazu would have needed her help. He was clearly more than capable of taking care of himself. Especially compared to her level of skill. But why? Fumiko's brows furrowed as she contemplated the unfamiliar wave of emotions. She was so lost in thought that she hardly noticed Kazu's disappearance. The sudden absence of chakra the only indicator that he'd ever moved. "The Tsuchikage! He put out a bounty on this brat! P - please! Don't kill me!" Breaking her gaze away from the small, red wound on her arm, she took in the pitiful site before her. The man who, just moments ago had been so bold and cowardly to attempt to kill Kazu from afar, was now sniveling and drooling about on the ground like an animal. It was no more startling than the first string of deaths as Fumiko watched Kazu wrap the chain tightly around the man's neck. Cutting off his circulation and causing him to flail about like a fish out of water, gasping for air. His struggling only further infuriated the Mizukage, and his grip on the chain tightened until there was a loud crunch. "Your coat," she said flatly as he knelt down in the mud once more. The pristine white coat from before was far beyond saving now. Covered in a mixture of blood and mud. Her hands slowly reached out to grab his coat in an attempt to hold it up off the ground. But in doing so he took her injured arm, looking over the cut with a sickeningly sweet smile. Before she hadn't been sure, but every bone in her body cringed at the fake emotion he was oozing. Fumiko may not have been the best at expressing herself, but she never tried faking it. It was a troublesome facade to keep up, and Fumiko found it unnecessary to do so. "Stop," she said with a slight firmness a mother might use towards her child. Her wounded arm slipped out of his grasp, and she ignored his question as she moved to cup his face in her cold hands once more. "You don't have to smile for me." she said, her gaze piercing his with an uncomfortable amount of understanding. Releasing her hold on Kazu's face, she looked towards the entrance to the alley. How long had she been gone now? Umashi would be upset with her for leaving. Ah, but she still needed to wrap the wound. "Hmm," she hummed, turning her attention back towards the white haired man next to her. "Kazu-sama?" she called, referring to him perhaps a bit too comfortably under the circumstances of their meeting. But her inquisitive nature was begging she ask this one prying question before they inevitably separated. "Why are you in Amegakure?"MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

Stop? Kazu was shocked at Fumiko's response. He stared her directly in the eyes as she pulled her injured arm away from his grasp, taking hold of his face once more. Once again, with her small, cold hands. She saw right through him. The feigned smiles. The false emotion. She had known Kazu for all of thirty minutes now, and already she had seen through his guise. Kazu was impressed. This wasn't something that he had expected from such a young girl. He had lived his entire life like this. As insincere as his smiles were, it became sort of second nature for him. But in a matter of minutes, this girl had figured him out. He was like an open book. Or rather, she had managed to read one of the intricately written pages that was Kazu. " You don't have to smile for me." Those words struck Kazu, echoing inside his mind over and over again. Confirming what he had already though, Kazu's smile slowly vanished. It had disappeared, almost as though never existed in the first place. His face became cold and emotionless once more. A feeling of comfort had overtaken Kazu. To him, this was much more natural. This girl had grabbed Kazu's attention. He began to wonder about her. Why was she all the way out here. What made her the way she is? Kazu continued to wonder as he had taken notice to the little girl's attention being drawn in another direction. A slight warmth struck Kazu's face as Fumiko's cold hands let go. He continued to watch her as her attention moved back to Kazu. But her next words struck him as odd. She had called him by his first name? This definitely wasn't something he was used to. Others usually refered to him as "Mizukage." Not that he minded it. A sort of comfort began to flow through his body as soon as her voice struck his ears. And following that, the inevitable question. Kazu knew it would come up eventually. " Why are you in Amegakure?" the girl asked. Kazu, still kneeling down at eye level with the small Fumiko, sat still for a moment. His gaze still as cold as ice, and his face still comfortably emotionless. Before answering the question, he took her injured arm into his left hand once more. With the right, he reached into a small pouch in his hip, pulling out a bandage wrap. Kazu slowly began to wrap the bandage around the small wound, ensuring that it was tight enough to stop the bleeding, but not too tight as to hurt her. " I'm meeting with the rest of the Kage." Kazu answered the question softly as he continued to wrap the wound. He tore the bandage with his teeth and finally placed the roll back into his pouch, still holding her arm in his hand, examining the bandage to ensure it wasn't done improperly. GIVE ME MILES AND MILES OF MOUNTAINS AND I'LL ASK FOR THE SEA ❝ There it was. An emotionless gaze that might have rivaled her own if it weren't for the wave of comfort, warm and genuine, that had washed across his cold features. The effort put forth to smile for the world was unnecessary. He'd been far more captivating when he was cutting men down then he had in the few moments he'd kneeled beside her, lips turned upwards into a 'smile'. Though it left her hungry for the true emotions he'd buried within. What did this man look like when he smiled? Curious. He seemed to ponder her next question for a moment, though he looked all too prepared for it, his answer came slowly. Instead his gaze remained fixated on her injured arm as he took it back into his care. The cold had served to numb the fresh wound on her arm, and the rain had washed away any blood around the wound. She'd likely have forgotten about it if it weren't for the bandages he'd pulled from a small pouch on his hip. "All of them?" So that meant... Tsuchikage-sama. She kept quiet until he'd finished wrapping her arm, watching the white bandage wrap around as she organized her thoughts. Both she and Umashi were missing-nin, and she'd learned firsthand the dangers he'd spoke of. Perhaps it was for the best that she returned to the inn sooner rather than later. If the Tsuchikage was here, and his men had already found her, than she assumed a similar situation would befall Umashi. And though it wasn't like the young blonde to worry over others, she'd grown rather fond of the friendly giant, and her heart felt something similar to 'worry'. Looking back at Kazu, her lips turned downward into the slightest frown. It was the tiniest depictions of emotion like this that few ever picked up on. "Your clothes," she said, looking over the sullied cloak he wore. "I'm sorry, Kazu-sama." she mumbled, feeling personally responsible for his less than graceful appearance he would be presenting to his fellow Kage. Her brows furrowed as she brought a curved finger to her lips, trying to come up with a solution. Ah, I'm getting attached again. MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GS

Kazu examined Fumiko for a second after listening to her ask the question. All of them were going to be there, and Kazu understood why she would ask such a question. It was dangerous for her here. Especially with the Tsuchikage present. For Fumiko, this could mean death. There was no way she'd survive an encounter with the Tsuchikage. If he wanted her dead badly enough to place a bounty on her head, Kazu was willing to bet that if given the chance, he'd end her life himself. " Yes." Kazu answered. " All of the kage are here. This includes the Tsuchikage." News like that was bound to make a young girl being hunted by the Tsuchikage himself worried. Kazu definitely didn't blame her. But he could only wonder what this little girl could have done to provoke the wrath of the Tsuchikage. Kazu could see the worry overtake the little girl's face. Such a situation could only stress Fumiko out. Fumiko's gaze locked back onto Kazu. He continued to observe her facial expressions, trying to determine her current mental state. The small frown that her little mouth had formed had given Kazu a feeling of comfort. Finally, a normal reaction from the girl. At least, until the very next words had left her lips. " Your clothes, I'm sorry, Kazu-sama." At first, Kazu appeared puzzled. His clothes? Kazu had no idea what she was talking about. He followed her gaze, looking down at his own coat, noticing the mud that had begun to build up on it. His nice white kage coat had now been dirtied. That's what she's so worried about?" It's fine!" Kazu replied with a genuine smile this time, letting out a soft chuckle. " It's just a coat! I'll change it once I get back to the village! I'm just glad you weren't seriously hurt, kid!" Kazu stood up once more, releasing Fumiko's arm after completing the bandaging job. He stood tall, and placed his hand on the top of her head once more. " Don't worry, Fumi!" he shouted. " I hope you don't mind it if I call you Fumi." Kazu looked down at her, awaiting her approval before he'd decide to continue calling her by his new nickname. " I won't let the Tsuchikage hurt you." Kazu began to walk forward, removing his hand from the top of her head in the process. Her hair shuffled with his fingers as he lifted them from her blonde head. At her side, Kazu stopped. At her side, he stood a full nine inches taller than her. A significant difference in height between the two. For a second, Kazu stood there. He turned his head to face her once more, looking down at her with a smile. " It was nice meeting you!" he excalimed before realizing that he was already late for his meeting. " Damn! I'm going to be soooooo late! Mei is going to give me such a hard time about this!" With one step forward, Kazu came to a sudden halt as though he had just remembered he had forgotten something. Without spinning his head around to face her again, he spoke his last words before trying to leave once more. " Come to Kirigakure. Bring the man you're with." These words resonated through the cold air with a certain amount of power. Almost as though there were hidden intentions behind those words. But before long, Kazu had broken the short lived, powerful atmosphere. " Now where is that damned escort of mine?! SEEEIRENNNN!!!" Kazu shouted at the top of his lungs as he vanished, leaping from rooftop to rooftop. Tagged: FumikoOOC: Notes CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS
