Physiological Attributes:
Those with the corruption have a massive tattoo of the Hirano clan symbol covering their entire back. This tattoo cannot be removed by any means, even a transformation jutsu.
Special Abilities:
Hirano are resistant to pain, with all the benefits and drawbacks that brings. A simple jab won't be enough to break them out of a genjutsu, but a transformation would.

Method of Obtainment:
Born into the Hirano clan, and indoctrinated in its ways. They are frequently taken for prayers in the Temple Obscura, in the heart of the clan's complex. Exposure to the energies there and study of the spirits that power it allow them to use these gifts.
Limitations/Drawbacks:
Every time a Hirano mutates, there's a chance it will become permanent. Any permanent mutation can be overridden by a higher-ranking mutation, but once that transformation ends it will revert to the permanent mutation. Unless, of course, the new mutation becomes permanent. D-ranked jutsu have a 1 in 100 chance of a permanent mutation every time they transform. For C-rank it's 1 in 75, 1 in 50 for B, 1 in 25 for A, and guaranteed for S-rank. At that point, they've channeled too much tainted power to keep a handle on it. This also carries some mental risks. The more permanent mutations they get, the less human they are mentally. They lose empathy, and become far more prone to other mental illnesses. The transformation itself is also difficult, requiring the user to stand still for a turn while their body reshapes itself. During this time they will be completely unaware of their surroundings, too overwhelmed by pain to notice anything else. If the justu is not permanent, it will last until combat is over or the Hirano reverses the transformation. On top of this, there's the fact that their tainted chakra makes most normal ninjutsu weaker as the elements resist their commands. Any elements they use are tainted, and significantly weaker than those of their counterparts. Because of this tainted chakra, they're forbidden from using any medical jutsu other than their transformations. There's too great a risk that they'll taint whoever they're trying to heal. The corruption also interferes with other types of jutsu. No summon beast, other than the monstrous beings their clan communes with, will agree to work with a Hirano. Even the elements are repulsed by them, making their elemental jutsu weaker and giving them a polluted smell and appearance.
