Jiyuu always did know how to get into any kind of situation, both good and bad. For the time being, there was no unfortunate situation to be had; all he’s simply doing is helping out the Clan. The task is relatively simple, go into the main shopping district for some cooking ingredients. You see, on this particular day the staff is being overworked in preparation for celebrating the next group of Tsubasa graduates from the academy and continuously contributing their resources and labor for the upcoming summer festival in the coming months. While Jiyuu wasn't the first choice nor should the heir be asked of anything, he volunteered anyways; despite how the rest of his Clan treats him, they are still his family overall.
It was hot under the blistering yellow sun, Jiyuu looked up towards the blue sky with his sweated brow. He sighed in exhaustion but when he averted his gaze, Jiyuu only marveled at how lively the village is even on the warmest of days. People made their deals, their picks, and their drops all in succession. It was like clockwork in Jiyuu’s mind, but for someone who in a not-so-ordinary life would think such things. His mind did drift off a bit at that point, what if he “was” ordinary? A question that haunted him since childhood, but he can’t drift away again - he has a personal mission to accomplish.
Picking out the written paper list of groceries, his eyes scanned through the various vendors and stores. “Now where can I get a good deal?” Musing a thought to himself, he was looking for an expensive herb made for a high quality soup. Squeezing and side-stepping his way through the massive crowd, it all seemed like a normal day for Jiyuu. He only hoped this peace could last even for a little while. Honoka’s eyes were glazed over, looking at nothing, her mouth gaped open slight as if she wanted to say something, but the words couldn’t come to her. Her mother stood a good few paces next to her, whatever she was saying was a murmur. Finally, her mother huffed and came closer to her daydreaming daughter.
“Honey!” She yelled, putting her hand on Honoka’s shoulder. That made Honoka jump with a slight yelp, finally got out of her out of her thoughts with a displeased look on her face. Once more, her mother heavily sighed as she looked out at the crowded streets near their home. “I need you to go out and get some stuff for me, Honoka.” Her mother pulled out a piece of paper that Honoka took and looked over. “I hope that’s easy enough for you.” Her mother murmured.
Honoka frowned slightly, “Well, I’m a ninja now!” Her mother who was turning around to go back inside looked back at Honoka and frowned deeply back at her.
“Ninja or not, I’m worried about you always spacing out. Now, please go out. Maybe moving around will you out?” Honoka’s mom fully turned and went back inside their home; Honoka stood there and watched her mother close the door gently behind her. Honoka’s deep red eyes then flickered down and then out to the crowd. Man, what a drag; Honoka slowly starts out for the streets towards the shopping district were the crowd got even more crowded. And of course, Honoka became more enticed with the crowd around her instead of where she was going in front of her; couples holding hands, people bargaining for their goods, children playing on the streets. People were so interesting to watching, Honoka’s attention then moved from the people up to the blue sky that she was watching not too long ago before getting kicked out of her home. Maybe her mother was right, daydreaming wasn’t good, but then when something was missing one cannot help but think about that memory; where was it?
Squeezing her way through the crowd, she didn’t note the other person that was also sluggishly making his way opposite of this young girl. Of course, on crowded days like these not everyone was nice enough when someone wanted to get somewhere. And sadly, someone in a hurry stepped on the heel of her sandal which caused a chain reaction of her falling down right into the boy. Her eyes were wide open in shock as she jumped back, elbowing someone who turned around and glared down at her. Honoka brought her hands up and started apologizing as she started to step back; people were glancing over at the scene, curiosity as to what all the commotion was about. She then backed up into Jiyuu. She looked up at him, a nervous smile on her face as she started to apologize to everyone around, hearing her mother’s voice in the back of her mind. “See, this is why you shouldn’t day dream! What is going through your head?”

The finishing line for the first stop in Jiyuu’s long day of errands is almost at hand. However, he didn't even had the vaguest thought he had to go through so many people. It’s a true wonder how easily someone can forget the fighting in world if life is still like this. For instance, Jiyuu read read all the books concerning the history of the Shinobi and the deep conflicts it had, from big to small. Even today, he feared that war would break out any second but one look at this wonder, maybe eternal peace isn't too far off.
As a peaceful thought reigned on heart, a sudden bump reigned on his back. Bewildered for a moment, he wondered what exactly hit him. Was it na animal or a cart of items making it’s through the dense crowd? No; instead, it was a young girl in Jiyuu’s gaze. From her appearance alone, she seemed in a word, normal. And to her dismay, she seemed to gather a bit of attention to herself. The orange haired young man sighed to himself, as if he blames his selfless personality and tenancies.
“Hey you, you need some help or are you lost?” Jiyuu spoke onto the young girl with a gruff nonchalant tone.
He figured that could lessen the attention onto her and maybe even help with whatever she’s doing. Because what’s the true harm in that, right? Well, it’s proper to say that, maybe, Jiyuu will do more than harm this time around, maybe. In the multiple scenarios Jiyuu can think even think for this girl, the best would be shopping. And as for the worst? There’s too many for him to count. WORDS 300 TAGS Honoka FujimuraNOTES Bah, sorry that this was super late Fate! D: |

Nervously laughing, she took the opportunity of the boy’s question, ignoring the grumpy tone, taking it more for annoyance in this situation more than anything; this was only a surface relationship to the both of them. She then turn, taking advantage of the situation as people looked between the boy and girl, she turned and facing him; Honoka rubbed the back of her head and nodded. ”Yes, please!” She dark eyes looked up at the taller boy, tilting her head and then the crowd who slowly was starting the lose interest. ”Think you can be my wall?” Her head tilted another way.
Wait that was an awkward way to phrase a question, which was one thing that turned people away from her, she’ll need to rephrase. ”I mean, uh, hm.” She felt herself shrinking a little, as different ways went through her head. ”Can you separate this sea of people. I’m kind of small, so it’s easy for me to get swallowed up in all of this commotion.” She smirked up at Jiyuu, proud of the way that she successfully restated herself.
“I’m just trying to do some last minute shopping for my mother. But, I think it’s for other things.”Honoka sighed as she looked around at her surroundings.

Strange, a good word to describe to this little public event. The orange haired young man could only but raise his brow at the public display, made by this young girl. It almost struck his funny bone when she said, he would become her ‘wall’. Granted, he was a bit tall for the young lady and vice versa for her size and this busy crowd. Nevertheless, there’s no way for him to disregard her request now, for today, he will become her ‘wall’. Because someone has the play the good Samaritan, right?
“Hey, easy now, it’s gonna be alright. Just point me a direction and I’ll go for ya’,” he spoke in the same familiar gruff tone, but in a more inviting tense. He tilted his head backward to the left, pointing her a way out of this dense crowd. It couldn't hurt for the duo to get out of this dragging scene, or at least that’s what Jiyuu figured. “Might as well team up, since I’m basically here for the same thing,” he continually remarked to the young about their current situation, yet vague about his own intentions as well.
Pushing a path through the crowd, the young man pierces through the crowd at a slow enough pace for the young girl to catch up. “Two questions for ya’. One, name’s Jiyuu, what’s your’s? And where do ya’ want to head for first?” It wouldn't put it pass Jiyuu to be somewhat curious about the girl and hey, it might ease the tension if she at least knew exactly ‘who’ he was. It’s much better to know someone’s name than a complete stranger. |

It was silent for a moment, as the boy stared back at her. This was making her uncomfortable for a bit, until she saw a response from him, an eyebrow rose up from her suggestion. But as he made his response, she smiled and nodded. “Yes, that sounds great!” Honoka, looked behind to the direction that she was heading towards. As they started to move towards the direction they needed to go to, the now known Jiyuu, introduced himself. “I am Honoka.” She looked up at him, “It’s nice to meet you.” She gave a half-smile as she pulled out the list her mother gave to Honoka before this misadventure. Honoka glanced over the small list figuring out where the closes place would be. “Hm, looks like I need to go to go over to the bakery and it looks like father needs some books.” Honoka sighed, now that she was a genin; it was harder to hang around her father who wants her to be more with her team than him at the hospital. “Once we get there, you can leave me.” Honoka mumbled, folding the piece of paper before putting it away. She pressed her lips in thought and looked over at Jiyuu. “I hope I’m not intruding?” Her brows came together. OOC: Short post orz sorry Jiyuu TsubasaMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

| Trailblazing his way through the masses at a steady pace, the teen finally learned the identity of the girl he’s becoming a ‘wall’ for. Turns out, her name was Honoka, a name that didn't particular stand out in Jiyuu’s memory. Which for especially in his case, it’s a good thing, that must mean she doesn't who ‘he’ is. Maybe it was the lack of his surname, but he never was a good listener on proper edicate. He figured everyone should be equal, even in name, an odd concept but one he firmly believes in. Like a good potable wall, he listened to the girl’s directions, word for word. Their first stop, was the bakery and then a quick stop at a book store. Not the most complicated of stops along the route, but the people is always a pressing problem, literally. “Alright one bakery, comin’ right up,” he spoke with such vigor in his tone. The teen was almost half-tempted to use Jutsu in order to pierce through the crowd, but that would be almost too easy and a complete misuse of his abilities. Almost in sight was the first destination, the bakery. The populace put a fight but the wall pushed through in the end. Jiyuu felt a bit accomplished to help someone for once without anything of bad consequence. It just came to pure shock to Jiyuu’s ears that the girl thought herself as bother. Which he readily replied to her with, “Look, it’s no sweat alright? I mean we’re practically almost there.” He pointed his index finger to the west, the bakery stood there in the short distance. “It’s no trouble for me, really,” he looked back at her reassuring her once more. Spirits were high for Jiyuu and figured at the moment, he might as well make some talk. “You fresh from the academy or something, Honoka?”all this time i was searching for the rain |

Honoka looked up a Jiyuu, a slight snicker left her lips for how determined he sounded; she has never seen someone excited for an unpaid escort. Of course, this crowd was none too kind to these two young shinobi and Honoka attempted to stay as close as possible Jiyuu, even almost tempted to hand a little onto the back of his shirt, but she only kept her hand leveled a few inches. After a while, Honoka looked around him and noticed that the bakery was just up ahead, a small smile of victory crossed her face. Boy, won’t mother be happy. Then her attention went back to what she had told Jiyuu. A short sigh escaped her and she nodded with a tiny smile on her face. Suddenly, a dark chuckle left her lips as she looked down. “Yep, brand new.” She said looking back up a Jiyuu, “Very green behind the ears. All those exciting classroom times.” Honoka then shrugged, putting her hand down and digging them into the pockets of her capris, pressing her lips together in thought. Her brows came together temporarily until she looked up and tilted her head. “And what about you? I mean!” She looked around, “You don’t look like you’ve just came out! I never even seen someone like you in my class? But, yeah.” Honoka tilted her head from one side to the other. “Have you been on the field? Or do you do something else?” She felt her observer side coming out and that was the thing that pushed her away from having a lot, if any, friends. Who wants a girl who was curious about how one did things, all the time? Of course, because of her attentiveness to want to learn, her teachers adored her, until Honoka’s attention would go somewhere else, but there’s was just something disturbing her that she needed to find on her own. But, that was not the issue now! Honoka shook her head a little and focused on Jiyuu. Tag: Jiyuu TsubasaMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ
