Kekkei Genkai Name: Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton)

Special Abilities: Explosion Release is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai. This chakra nature seems to give the wielder the ability to utilise explosive chakra in combat, allowing them to cause explosions in objects they come into contact with. While this release is considered extremely powerful, it is also detrimental to the user, as they feel the force of the explosion as well. This can cause severe hearing disability and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder in older users, as well as intense shaking. The only known users of this nature are members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps. To use this ability the user concentrates his chakra which is formed to explode from a minimum range depending on the technique.

Method of Obtainment: Can not be obtained by training, must have descendants from the Explosion Corps to gain these abilities during birth or earlier through life.
Limitations/Drawbacks: Chakra charges each time used. An element specialized for collateral damage, it frequently finds itself lacking against Wind users, who can simply engulf it and prevent the shock waves from spreading out. Â Bakuton users rarely have a long life span however, being far more likely then the Nendo to die in an blast of glory. Blast Release is highly vulnerable to Lightning Release. Compared to other Advanced Elements, Blast Release is the most easy to diffuse, especially against the Kinjutsu techniques. Because Blast Release has an Earth component it is inherently weak.
